Set in a frontier world of bonnets and one-room schoolhouses, Love's Enduring Promise follows a headstrong young teacher named Missie (January Jones, Bandits), the daughter of Clark and Marty Davis (Dale Midkiff and Katherine Heigl) from previous prairie romance Love Comes Softly. After Clark injures himself in a woodcutting accident, the family farm is in danger of failing--until a handsome young stranger (Logan Bartholomew) helps out. Missie finds herself drawn to this man, but the intelligence and graciousness of young railroad magnate (Mackenzie Austin, How to Deal) appeals to a side of her that yearns to go beyond the hills and valleys of her childhood. What could be romantic froth becomes a quiet, well-paced, and thoughtful love story, thanks to a solid script, capable performances, and clean direction. Jones is particularly engaging; Missie could have been blandly virtuous, but Jones draws a rich and subtle range of emotions out of her scenes. Religious viewers will appreciate the movie's commitment to wholesome storytelling and clear moral perspective. Love's Enduring Promise, like Love Comes Softly, is based on a novel by Christian writer Janet Oke, though Love's Enduring Promise departs more from its source. --Bret Fetzer
Description
Clark and Marty Davis were caught in a "marriage of convenience" that over time turned into deep mutual respect and love. In this sequel, they now preside over a growing family in their little prairie house. But as they reach out to those in their frontier community, they discover that love is not limited by the size of a dwelling.

Meaning of Love.......2007-09-05
I had seen this movie before and love it. It was well directed and because there were very unknown actors made it more interesting to watch. It showed during that time 2 people didn't have to be in love to marry but, through everything they go through love has a way of finding their heart. I really enjoyed this movies along with the other 2 that follows.
No Show.......2007-08-10
My disabled mother has always wanted this movie and after quite a search I found it here. To her dismay this movie was blank, and was blank in other dvd players as well. Amazon does not make it eay to return product if u do not have a printer to print the label, shipping order or an adress.

Amazon.com essential video
One of the best romantic comedies of the 1990s, My Best Friend's Wedding not only gave Julia Roberts a delightful vehicle for her crowd-pleasing comeback, but it further distinguished itself by avoiding the conventional plotting of the genre. Julia plays a prominent Chicago restaurant critic whose best friend (Dermot Mulroney) is a former lover from her college days with whom she'd made a binding pact: if neither of them were married by the age of 28, they'd marry each other. Just when they're about to reach the deadline of their agreement, Mulroney arrives in Chicago to introduce Roberts to his seemingly perfect fiancée (Cameron Diaz) and announce their wedding in just three days. That leaves the shocked Julia with just three short days to sabotage the wedding and marry the man she now realizes she's loved all along. With potential heartbreak waiting in the wings, she'll either get what she wants or pay the price for her selfish behavior, and Ronald Bass's cleverly constructed screenplay keeps us guessing to the very end. Rupert Everett scored rave reviews for his scene-stealing performance as Robert's gay friend who goes along with her scheming (but only so far), and even as she makes her character's needy desperation disarmingly appealing, Roberts wisely allows Diaz to capitalize on her charming time in the spotlight. As the romantic outcome remains uncertain, the viewer is held in a state of giddy suspense, and director P.J. Hogan pulls off some hilarious scenes (like a restaurant full of people singing the Dionne Warwick hit "I Say a Little Prayer") that could easily have fallen flat in the hands of a less talented filmmaker. It's no surprise that this was one of the box-office smashes of 1997. --Jeff Shannon

Entertaining.......2007-08-09
I enjoyed this deliteful romantic comedy.I am not much of a Julia Roberts fan But I enjoyed her in this movie.
A Great Movie!.......2007-07-21
I hold this movie close to my heart, why you may ask? Because I was going thru the same thing Julia Roberts was going thru in this movie. I was in love with someone who did not belong to me. It was a hot affair 10 years ago that ended disastrously, and I ended up the loser at the end. The lesson here is, Life Goes ON. Julia's performance was so true and honest, she always steals my heart. Great movie!
My Best Friend's Wedding.......2007-05-08
Thanks for getting this DVD to me while I am stationed over seas.
I give it a B..........2007-04-15
I was very glad this movie didn't end up being a silly romance and break the couple up just to rekindle an old relationship! A good watch for a dull Saturday afternoon.

Even as Disney has reveled in the success of its high-end animated features, it occasionally sneaks a lesser effort into theaters, based on one of the many TV shows with which it dominates daytime TV. This one is based on perennial Disney favorite Goofy's adventures in domesticated bliss. Goofy is now a single dad; when son Max gets blamed for a prank gone wrong at school, Goofy blames himself and decides that, for his vacation, he's going to get away with Max alone. Of course, this is no treat for Max, who has just met the girl of his dreams and harbors no wish to spend the summer touring America with his square dad. The vacation is one disaster after another, though they aren't particularly funny disasters; the culmination involves Goofy's efforts to get Max backstage at a big rock concert. Strictly for young fans of the TV show. --Marshall Fine
Description
Now you can enjoy all the outrageous fun and laughter of Disney's most legendary comedian as he stars in his very own full-length motion picture! In the great tradition of quality Disney animation, A GOOFY MOVIE is a classic blend of irresistible characters, unforgettable music, and an endearing modern-day story about how the lovable Goof bonds with his teenage son Max on a hilarious cross-country road trip. En route to the ol' fishing hole, they find themselves up to their floppy ears in misadventure! Will Max learn there's nothing wrong with taking after dear old dad ... if he is a little goofy? The question is answered in the showstopping finale when Max and Goofy "crash the stage" at the most spectacular rock concert ever performed! Filled with action-packed scenes, narrow escapes -- even a comic close encounter with Bigfoot -- Disney's critically acclaimed hit comedy is a delightfully memorable adventure your family will love taking again and again!
Customer Reviews:
who doesn't like goofy.......2007-08-31
My son wanted this move since the first time he saw it at a friends house. We looked everywhere for it and couldn't find it, but we found it here. He watches it over and over, and spends the entire time laughing his little head off. This is a must have for kids.
My Favorite Animated Disney Movie.......2007-06-07
I used to watch this on VHS with my sisters when we were younger. We watched it in the theaters and then forced our parents to buy us our own copy, which we watched all the time. I purchased this DVD last year and I STILL love it 12 years after its initial release.
I definitely thought this movie was funnier when I was a kid, but even now I think it's just as enjoyable as it was then. I love the songs-- we used to sing along when we were younger. I even bought the soundtrack!
And I have to admit, I think that this is one of Disney's best animated features. Better than The Emperor's New Groove (which I also loved), and even any of their computer animated offerings, including The Incredibles and definitely better than the awful Cars.
Surprizingly awesome.......2007-03-10
I had forgotten how awesome this movie is- even for a grown-up, like me. It could do without all the songs (it was made before Disney wisely decided to ditch all the cheesy singing,) but it's brisk, double-layered humor more than makes up for it. Kids will think the gags are sufficiently silly. Adults will pick up on the nearly-sarcastic, nearly risque dialog, so rare in Disney animated movies. Plus, Big Foot dancing to 'Stayin' Alive' is just freaking hilarious.
Basically, it's just a Disney movie. But it's a *great (and severely under appreciated) Disney movie.
Who's your favorite possum?.......2007-03-06
The title of my review is one of the most memorable quotes (to me, at least) in this movie. Maybe I won't remember the plot 20 years later, but I'll be able to shout "Who's your favorite possum?!" at my sister and she can respond, "Lester!" It was an amusment park (looked kinda like a tavern) that Goofy and Max went to on their 'trip'. I like the song they sing in the beginning when they are in a car.
-Octavia
A definite classic.......2007-02-27
I used to watch the VHS copy of this with my son when he was very little. Now that he is 13 we still enjoy watching this movie. It has a great story and is very funny. A lot of parents could learn how to be a better parent by watching this movie.

The Promise came to American shores with endless hype about its visual splendor--and for once, the hype is deserved. Lush and luminous, almost every shot will make you want to weep from its sheer loveliness. A starving young orphan girl named Qingcheng is offered a deal by a capricious goddess: The girl will be staggeringly beautiful and have all the wealth, delicious food, and fabulous clothing she could ask for--but every man she ever loves will die. Thus begins a twisty tale in which a fleet-footed slave (Korean actor Dong-Kun Jang) and a mighty general (Japanese actor Hiroyuki Sanada, The White Countess) compete for the love of the adult Qingcheng (Hong Kong beauty Cecilia Cheung), while a vengeful usurper (Hong Kong star Nicholas Tse, Time and Tide) seeks to destroy them all. Like many of the classics of Hong Kong fantasy--such as A Chinese Ghost Story, Swordsman II, and Green Snake--The Promise combines the epic storylines of Chinese mythology with the headlong momentum and energetic editing of kung-fu action movies. The result can sometimes seem absurd to American audiences--though these same audiences will happily swallow the absurdities of American science fiction, simply because they're familiar with the conventions of the genre. Viewers who embrace the conventions of Hong Kong fantasy will find The Promise engaging and emotionally rich...and there's just no denying the gorgeousness. Compared with the sterile spectacle of the later Star Wars movies or the clumsy, labored Matrix sequels, The Promise bursts with human warmth, dynamic storytelling, and elegant design. More Western audiences should open themselves to its pleasures. --Bret Fetzer
Description
A new epic fantasy set in China's mythical past, "The Promise" is a visually stunning tale of passion that unfolds against a backdrop of war as a beautiful and mysterious princess becomes the object of affection for three very different men - a powerful Duke, a brave general and a lowly slave. As passions spark and egos clash, lives will be ruined and lovers spurned and no one will ever be the same.
Customer Reviews:
This is your movie..if your in the movie for an art film........2007-08-29
The promise is beautiful in some shots. The story is terrible. The movie is better, if you ignore the subtitles. Minus one of the scence's, the film has many great scenes.
Ultimately Disappointing.......2007-08-06
Having seen "Hero" and "House of the Flying Daggers," I expected a great deal out of "The Promise." The story combines a number of interesting folk tale-esque elements - a princess who, at an early age, chose to be beautiful but, in return, is cursed at love; a brash and boastful warrior-virtuoso and his servant, who can run faster than the wind; and their opposite numbers, a cruel villain who seeks a secret only the brash warrior's servant can reveal. As the plot unfolds, a love triangle and cases of mistaken identity ensue, leading to a fairly emotional climax. The story, however well-conceived, ultimately falls flat and fails to deliver on its early promise. The film's production design and special effects also leave a great deal to be desired, making the daring-do of the heroes frequently appear laughable. Indeed, for an action film, there are also very few battle scenes to break up the monotony. Those interested in a good kung fu movie would do better to check out either a massive epic the likes of "Hero," or a romp such as "Iron Monkey."
Great Concept But Fails In The End.......2007-05-29
In the beginning a starving young girl named Qingcheng is seen prying food out of the hands of dead soldiers in a forest. While running home to share her bread with her mother she drops it in a lake. As she starts to cry the bread is brought back to her by a goddess and she tells Qingcheng to eat the bread but she will not eat because she is saving it for her sick mother. The goddess tells Qingcheng that her mother is dead and then offers her a choice of riches and beauty but all men she falls in love for will die unless she can turn back time and undo what she has just done. She's a little girl with nowhere to go and no food so of course this deal is too tempting to pass up and she accepts. A while later during a battle of a 3000 man army defeating 20,000 barbarians a slave named Kunlun with a speedy gift is discovered while trying to outrun the barbarians.
Kunlun's ability impresses general Guangming also known as "Master of the Crimson Armor" and is taken in as a slave by the general. The general has been informed that the King is being attacked by Duke Wuhuan from the north but before he can get there he is attacked by Wuhuan's assassin Snow Wolf, the general is saved by Kunlan but receives a bad wound trying to defend himself. The general can't make the journey to protect the king and sends Kunlun with his crimson armor instead. The general tells Kunlun that the king will be the only one without a weapon. Kunlun goes to protect the king and when he arrives at the palace sees a man with a sword about to kill a beautiful woman and kills him before he can get to the woman and then flees with her. Kunlun eventually is cornered by Wuhuan's men and is told if he jumps into the waterfall behind him the princess will live but before he jumps he promises the princess he will never let her die.
This is one movie that had the money, a cool plot, and even had a good cast to support it. I think the first mistake was the director went crazy with his budget and though I do realize this is a fantasy movie but there is just too much. There was too much CGI and it was done ridiculously bad, there were fight scenes but they were bad fight scenes. The fights were awfully choreographed like the director got his child to choreograph the scenes for him. You could barely see anything when there was a fight because there was a weird cinematography that was used during the scenes, it will remind you of the type in "Warriors of Virtue" used in a bad way. The story goes everywhere before it ends, the princess's character is written poorly. She's supposed to be in deep love but how does fall in love with a guy she just met and then fall in love with another guy.
The thing with "The Promise" is not the back-story because it is interesting but the way it develops is crazy its too slow and makes feelings unrealistic. How can you truly believe that the princess is in love when she just met the guy and even worse isn't even the guy that she thinks saved her. Despite a bad script the actors keep you interested in the film until the end. The settings are undoubtedly beautiful, which is noticed right from the beginning, but the CGI should have been scrapped and done with more taste. The fights which were suppose to be a big part of this film could have helped give this film more interest and life but that fails. All you will be watching this film for is its gorgeous settings.
Simply stunning!.......2007-05-29
I just saw this on dvd and have to say that it is simply stunning. I sat through it entirely mesmerized the whole time. The visuals are incredibly beautiful, the story was very engaging, and there's tons of action. Some of the scenes can seem somewhat silly, but as long as you realize that this is a fantasy film and let yourself be immersed in this fantasy world, you will enjoy it. I have the 103 min version, which I understand was shortened from the original 121 min version to make the story easier to understand. I sort of wished I had the longer version as I was sad the movie ended so soon.
Rooting for the Bad Guy.......2007-05-11
Chen Kaige acted in "The Last Emperor" and directed "Farewell, My Concubine" that was nominated for the Best Foreign Language Film in 1993. My understanding is that this film made a lot of money in China; but for me it translates less well into our Western mindset. I enjoyed the fantasy part with the goddess giving Quingcheng a magic pact that she would be wealthy, but not have true love. Cecilia Cheung won Best Actress from the Hong Kong Film Awards for this film. She does a credible job as the woman who wants the one thing she cannot have, love. I saw Jang Dong-gun in the Korean film "The Coast Guard." As the slave Kunlun, he has giant puppy dog eyes for the lovely Quingcheng. His ability to run at the speed of lightning that comes from his childhood citizenship in the Land of Snow reminded me of watching an old Road Runner cartoon. After the death of his master, he agrees to be the slave of General Guangming. Hiroyuki Sanada who plays the general was in "The Last Samurai" that starred Tom Cruise. I couldn't quite guess what the attraction was that drew Quingcheng to him, but he fills the bravado of the character with excellence. I saw Nicholas Tse in a DVD that may no longer be available called "Gen X-Cops." While that wasn't the best of films, as the evil nemesis Wuhuan, he does a great job. Costumes and scene design are excellent and give the film an amazing look. Hollywood has been slow to adopt the emphasis on the visual that is now frequently seen in Asian cinema. The Golden Globes nominated this film as Best Foreign Language Film in 2005. For me, it didn't play quite as well. It was certainly an epic journey filled with action and romance, but by the end of the film I wasn't all that connected to the characters. I think I most enjoyed Nicholas Tse's nefarious Wuhuan; so you know a film didn't work when you're rooting for the bad guy. It is still worth seeing given that expectations are not too high. Enjoy!

If you like Sade.......2007-02-05
This DVD will appeal primarily to those fans of Sade. Many of the videos are dated, but are still worth seeing. The 5.1 mix is good, and the option of adding subtitled lyrics is helpful if you can't understand all the lyrics.
sade.....what can i say boys????.......2006-02-26
nothing compares to listening to sade in a perfect accoustic room. JBL speakers make the difference.
Sade-Life Promise Pride Love.......2005-08-03
I could not wait to get this item as I have always loved Sade's classic style. I was extremely delighted to see all her music videos on one DVD. It brought back great memories. The DVD also includes a new DVD and biography. I can't think of any way it could have been improved. I love it!!!!!
The Sweetest Taboo.......2004-10-20
I purchased this DVD because at the time, her greatest hits CD was sold out. As luck would have it, it was on sale in the DVD section of the store. I won't divulge the price, but I will admit that it was a lot cheaper than the CD! I bought it, and Oh My God! The videos encompass the majority of her hits. What an exotic, sultry siren. Words simply cannot describe this artist. All the hits I was looking for were there. So now I have a choice. When I just want to see her beautiful videos with alluring story lines, I pop in the DVD. When I want to hear her beautiful music, I simply turn the television off. Lucky me! Enjoy!

Description
Joey Coalter (William Petersen, TV's "C.S.I.: Crime Scene Investigation") is a restless adventurer who's been married for nearly thirteen years to his high-school sweetheart, Christine (Sissy Spacek, Coal Miner's Daughter), but has been working odd jobs that have kept him away from home nearly the whole time. Fed up with her husband's wandering ways, Chris files for divorce and makes plans to marry a local, and reliable, businessman. Completely stunned when he receives a wedding invitation (secretly sent by their daughter, Beth), Joey rushes home to try to win back his wife in this true-to-life romantic comedy.
Customer Reviews:
Wonderful Romantic comedy!.......2007-08-18
This was a really great film! It had a bittersweet ending and Petersen was wonderful as usual in the role of Joey Coalter. The young girl who played his daughter Beth did a great job too. I remember her from the TV show The Torkelsons. I recommend this film to anyone who enjoys romantic comedies.
Nicely Done But Not for Everybody.......2006-05-17
"Hard Promises" is a bit like a doing a rural remake of "A Tree Grows In Brooklyn" into which you incorporate the basic premise of "Sweet Home Alabama". While not in the same league as the former, it is considerably less offensive than the latter-which it may have inspired.
Billed as a romantic "comedy", the film contains little humor (unless you are still amused by small town stock characters) and nothing profound in the romance department. But like "A Tree Grows In Brooklyn" it is about the interplay of love, freedom, and caring among people who have allowed a considerable distance to grow up between each other.
It features a nice performance by Sissy Spacek (who looks unexpectedly sexy and beautiful) and a nice portrayal of a charismatic character by William Peterson. Yet they are both upstaged by Olivia Burnette who plays the Francie character (handled so well by Peggy Ann Garner in "A Tree Grows In Brooklyn").
Joey Coalter (Peterson) is an aimless free-spirit who neglects his wife and daughter while drifting around the country. Like Johnny in "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" he is full of unfulfilled promises and pipe dreams. He returns on the eve of his wife Christine's (Spacek) wedding; having been alerted by his daughter that Christine has obtained a divorce during his latest absence. About all Joey has going for him with viewers is that he loves both his daughter and his wife. About all he still has going for him with Christine is the charisma of a free- spirit and a continuing physical attraction.
His daughter Beth (Burnette) is his ally in his attempts to salvage their family, as she is not particularly fond of her mother's fiancée (Brian Kerwin). Kerwin's stable but boring character is the polar opposite of Joey and she thinks her mother is overcompensating for Joey's historical unreliability.
"Hard Promises" is mostly dedicated to exploring Joey's inherent and impossible to change aimlessness. This gets a little oppressive if you are looking for a dynamic story but the film is a successful exercise in unity and style. The score and the editing reinforce this theme and provide a surprising number of really beautiful and moving film moments. The climax is unconventional and they go out on a nice scene between father and daughter.
It is an unexpectedly slick production, a triumph of style over substance.
Then again, what do I know? I'm only a child.
A Poignant, Yet Aimless Drama with Occasional Highlights..........2005-11-13
Aimlessness presents the notion of being adrift without any direct purpose, or ambition, while it could also symbolize a nomadic lifestyle of living from day to day. Either case lacks direction, which often originates within a dreamy vision without a direct goal such as the wonder of what a hill hides on the other side. Once the initial curiosity has been put to rest, a new fascination arises from what lies beyond the next hill. The drifty mind also emerges through students' difficulty in paying attention for a longer amount of time, as boredom sets in, or through the consequence of an attention deficit. Hard Promises tells a tale of such a man, Joey, performed by William L. Petersen who most will recognize from the TV crime drama CSI.
The director Martin Davidson cleverly opens the film with a panning shot that symbolically portrays the notion of Joey's aimlessness, as a cowboy rides across a vast prairie with large hills in the background. Smoothly the camera flows to the left, as Joey's persona appears on the screen. He is telling a small group of cowboys a story from Tahiti, but these men do not understand the point of his story, which furthers the notion that Joey is a unique individual with lofty and continuously shifting dreams. However, Joey's dreams are all about to crash when a letter arrives that seems to have been all over the United States in the search for him. With a blank stare Joey begins to grasp the content of the letter, as someone is getting married - his wife.
After a long drive back home, a disgruntled Joey first visits his friend Pinky (Jeff Perry) in order to get his bearings on the situation. It has been a long time since they met, and Pinky wants to share with Joey about his successes such as a child, a promotion, and a dream car. But Joey brushes it all off, as he quickly asks Pinky about his wife's wedding situation and how he could have missed it. Quickly, yet nicely, Pinky drops the bomb on Joey and tells him that she has divorced him and now wants to get married. As the story unfolds, it reveals that Joey has been traveling the world while working odd jobs, as his wife and daughter have been stranded away from Joey's search for something better. It has been a lengthy solitude for his wife Chris (Sissy Spacek) who even breaks down the solitude over the last 12 years in days, which makes it obvious that he has neglected her. Joey also has a daughter with Chris whose upbringing he has nearly completely missed, which would make most people feel a little irritated with him.
Despite Joey's selfish preoccupation with the search for something, it is hard to be angry with him, as his awareness is much similar with that of an irresponsible child who does not truly understands what he does that hurts others. Joey is also a very nice and polite person, which emerges whenever he meets people in the film. These conflicting concepts of friendliness and selfishness presents an interesting character study that Davidson's film provides through Petersen's performance. The supporting cast including Sissy Spacek accentuates Joey's egocentric behaviors, which brings forth both his positive and negative characteristics. It is also interesting to see how he rationalizes his own self-centered behaviors. Nonetheless, it is with sadness that the viewer will see how his daughter is caught between him and a traditional family lifestyle with a father figure in the home.
The character development and the persona of Joey are rather stimulating. Yet, the film fails to notice its own weakness, as it does not have any distinct discord. Maybe, it is to enhance Joey's indifference. However, it makes the film feel unimportant, and might loose some viewer's attention when it gives insufficient effort to portray issues such as love, freedom, and family. The lack of meaning hurts the cinematic experience, as it does not reach above other films with a similar theme.
Funny, touching, love story -- doesn't get better.......2005-11-12
The chemistry of the actors in this movie make the sweet little love story really a gem. Sissy Spacek is a teacher ready to get re-married when her daughter sends a wedding invitation to William Peterson, the ex. He has been a drifter following jobs all over the country and doesn't even know he's divorced. He rushes back to win Sissy back with comic results. They find they still have a spark for each other. Their daughter just wants her family back and this lends a touch of bitter-sweeetness to the movie. Mare Winningham is great as Sissys best friend.
Great Movie.......2004-07-03
My husband and I recently saw this movie on the Pax Channel and I really liked the movie even though I wish the ending would have been better (The wandering husband and wife getting back together, however over all I like the movie and all the actors did a great job. My husband that it was a bit too mushy for his tastes.

As relevant as ever.......2007-06-20
I love this movie, and Valerie Bertinelli is darling in it. Why aren't more of her movies available on DVD? In these days of war after war, and threats of more war, this movie has even more relevancy than when it was made, which was well after the Vietnam war was over. Today everybody knows young lovers who married sooner than they planned because one of them was deployed. "The Promise of Love" has the central theme of love lost, hearts broken and families crushed by the untimely loss of their young to the jaws of war. I cry my eyes out each time I watch it. This isn't an anti-war movie really, nor does it give much treatment to the anti-war movement of the Vietnam era, but it does bring home the damage and loss to those left behind when young people march to war.
The Promise Of Love.......2005-08-31
I thought this movie was pretty good considering it was a made for TV movie. I am a big Valerie Bertinelli fan so, I enjoyed viewing this film and giving a positive review on it. Her acting skills were excellent and it was her first TV movie while still appearing on One Day At A Time.
I highly recommend this film to any Valerie Bertinelli fan. You won't be disappointed.
Movie is Good But DVD is Bad.......2003-12-09
One of the better made for TV movies, but the DVD copy I got is of a poor quality (although watchable)! If your a Val Fan its worth the low end price! Otherwise if you want a better than VHS quality recording then pass on this one and wait for the 2nd generation print!

One of my favorite film experiences ever.......2005-07-25
This is definitely the best Iranian film I've seen. It collapses fiction and documentary into an absolutely unique, humorous and overwhelmingly moving statement about violent political idealism and its collision with the realities of life and love. In the 70's, the filmmaker was a teenage Islamic militant fighting against the Shah. He stabbed a policeman and was jailed. Years later he became famous director. A man knocked at his front door and said, "I'm the policeman you stabbed. I want to be in one of your films. You owe me." The director said, "Let's make a film about what happened." This film is a reenactment/documentary about the making of that film and it blows me away every time.
