5 out of 5 stars Louis CK Is Hilarious, Great DVD!.......2007-07-06

I never heard of Louis CK before he appeared on Opie and Anthony on XM Satellite Radio. But since his first appearance I have become a huge fan. His brand of humor is pretty dark and twisted, but always hilarious. Lots of family and marriage based material, but dont worry, it never feels hackey.

Anyway, this DVD is great, the only drawback is that it's waaaay too short like all One Night Stand DVD's. More Louis CK would have been more gooder. I would also recommend checking out the Lucky Louie DVD, great show starring Louis CK and Lil' Jimmy Norton!

Well, everyone knows Louis C.K. has a foul mouth, but the man is funny.
Thank you for sharing your humor with us Louis.

You may not have heard of Louis CK but he is one of the funniest comedians performing today. If you haven't seen this performance you should consider buying this video.

5 out of 5 stars favorite one night stand.......2007-03-16

louis ck is hilarious. everyone who ive recommended this to loved it. its just full of genius bits about playing hide and seek with his four year old daughter, and trying to answer her onslaught of questions, and his fear of going to hell. this dvd also has my absolute favorite bit about gay marriage. the bits have lots of profanity, which doesnt bother me, i even prefer it. my only complaint is that its only a half hour long, although there are deleted scenes that give you a few more minutes of this great comic. even after repeat viewing, watching by myself, i was still laughing out loud.

I ordered this on February 2nd, it is now March 8th and have yet to see anything from Amazon. I didn't get the DVD or have yet to see a refund on my bank statement. Probably won't use Amazon again.

Description

Kind. Gentle. Sympathetic. Jim Norton is none of these things, and that's why he's one of the hottest new comedians in America. Norton continues the rich One Night Stand tradition of no-holds-barred comedy that blows apart the double standards of polite society. His pit bull approach is as far from politically correct as pro football is from men's figure skating. Taped in front of a live New York audience, Norton riffs hilariously on sex, drugs and the hypocrisies of modern culture. See what audiences across the country have discovered - for comedy served straight up, with honesty and malice for all, this little guy is a comic giant.

5 out of 5 stars I was there!.......2007-08-27

The show was phenomenal. You could see a few people who were iffy about some of the jokes, because his humor crosses into uncomfortable topics fairly often...but they all came out laughing. Even got myself a Frrrrrrrrrrrrrrunkis shirt while I was there. Norton was hilarious!

5 out of 5 stars Jim Norton - The Other Side of Funny.......2007-01-14

Jim Norton isn't the most famous comedian, but he's definitely edgy and you can tell that his comedy is genuine and not forced. The man finds humor in less obvious and sometimes darker parts of life. You might have seen him on HBO's Lucky Louie or on the forum on Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn on Comedy Central. I think he also does spots of the Opie and Anthony radio show as well. This DVD is a perfect representation of his comedy stylings and made me laugh harder than virtually any other comic I've seen in the last 5 years. His comedy isn't for everybody, and some people might find it offensive, but I think a true comedian leaves nothing off limits. Jim Norton has great vocal impact and a command of the English language to move quickly with his words and still allow them to sink in just as fast. What I'm saying is that it's not like listening to Dennis Miller, who tells a joke that you need an encyclopedia to figure out, but rather a mix of intelligence and unexpected blows to the mind. If you're looking for a new and different kind of stand up comedy, this DVD gives you a lot of bang for you buck.

1 out of 5 stars Jimmy Norton; One night stand.......2007-01-11

Disappointing, His real talents shine as the one line guy in concert with opie and anthony rather than solo.

The Best of Chris Farley blasts through 68 minutes of the wildly hilarious characters the comic actor created while with Saturday Night Live in the early 1990s. Farley was a comedic gem--not only because he created such bizarre, repulsively funny characters, such as Matt Foley, Motivational Speaker, or Lori Davis, cosmetics infomercial queen, but because he lived completely inside the character, delivering lines with whatever fury, stupidity, hypertension, insecurity, or femininity the situation demanded. Clearly, Farley loved making people laugh and he wasn't afraid to use his big bulk to do it, whether it entailed stripping as a Chippendale's dancer, belly flopping on coffee tables, rolling around on a couch as Tom Arnold, or punching his forehead in dismay on the "Chris Farley Show." What's great about this collection is all of those characters appear; what's disappointing is that some don't linger long enough, while others appear a bit too long. The cafeteria-lady number could've been cut short in lieu of a longer Tom Arnold segment, or Herlihy Boy could've been removed altogether in favor of complete "Chris Farley Show" segments. Still, if you forgot how side-splitting Farley's portrayal of Dom DeLuise or the French-fry-stuffing Gap girl was, this video will happily jog your memory. --Karen Karleski

4 out of 5 stars HA HA HA HA GET IT!!!!.......2007-04-23

Other than the last sketch that drags on & on, the entire DVD will leave you grasping your stomach in hilarity. Speaking of stomachs, Chris' is apparent throughout.

My favorite is the chipendales sketch. It's worth it just for that.

4 out of 5 stars Chris Farley was AWESOME!!!.......2006-04-08

I'm a big fan of Farley and this DVD is great, except for the omission of a skit that aired when they first played this show on television the Saturday after his death. It has always been one of my favorite Farley skits. David Hyde Pierce, Jeanane Garofalo, and David Spade are all in it with Farley, in a late 19th Century village where they are all prim and proper and go ice skating, Chris falls through the ice and starts yelling and carrying on in typical Farley fashion yelling at Garofalo 'what do mean whatever shall you do, save me you stupid whore!!' I would have given the DVD 5 stars but the fact that they altered it to add the skit of the interview with some Wilson Phillips stuff or whatever (i just FF that skit, i despise it) and the omission of the Ice Fall Skit have kept me from giving it 5 stars. You won't be disapppointed, it's a great DVD though...

5 out of 5 stars Even If You Live In A Van Down By The River, You'll Love It.......2005-03-14

Chris Farley was on "Saturday Night Live" for five years. During that time, he blessed the show with some of its most memorable moment, from the Chippendales audition to Matt Foley, motivational speaker to the Super Fans, everything he did was uprorarious. Inspired by John Belushi, Chris was also arguably the show's best physical comedian, a trait hebecame well known for. Sadly, Chris died of a drug overdose in 1997, only 34 years old. However, his rich legacy lives on with "Saturday Night Live - The Best Of Chris Farley".

All of the great moments I've talked about are here - Chippendales, Matt Foley, Todd O'Conner, and so much more. Some of the lesser known bits had me in stitches as well. Chris was hilarious as Andrew Giuliani, pouncing all over Kevin Nealon (as Mayor Giuliani), making fart noises, etc. This is probably my favorite cold opening of all time. The "Lunchlady Land" musical skit may be just another way to show off Adam Sandler's hilarious songwriting talents, but Farley steals the show as the portly lunchlady (mole and all) rocking out as Sandler endless spews out choruses about sloppy joes and hoagies and grinders. And my mom absolutely loves the "Focus On Beauty" sketch (unfortunately this sketch has been heavily truncated due to time).

I do have a few bones to pick, however. The dvd says that includes all of Chris's famous characters are here. Well, that's a bit of an overstatement. Some only appear breifly in short montages. For example, Chris's chubby 1/3 of the Gap Girls, Cindy Crawford, was as much a part of that sketch as Adam Sandler and David Spade was, and to have her relegated for appearing 30 seconds tops in the drag montage was a cheat. Likewise, I thought the "Zagat's" sketch was hysterical, but it too is featured briefly in the same montage. Also, two characters Chris did often alongside Chris Rock, B-Fats (from I'm Chillin'") and Sandman (from "The Dark Side With Nat X") are nowhere to be found.

Despite these minor complaints, this is an excellent look at one of "SNL's" finest. We all miss you Chris.

4 out of 5 stars A funny, funny man...........2005-03-09

Finally had a chance to watch this Chris Farley DVD last night. Like the other two I own (Will Farrel and Phil Hartman), it had some very funny moments, and a couple of not-so-funny moments. I thought the "super fans" skit was great, especially where Michael Jordan starts talking about his foundation, and the 4 guy's minds start wandering off ('da bears, 'da bears, Ditka, Sausage, 'da bulls...). I also thought the question about coach Ditka going up against a hurricane (named Ditka) was pretty amusing. Matt Foley, motivational speaker was hilarious! 'Look Dad, we got ourselves a regular Bill Shakespear here', and 'I hear you've been using paper not for writing lately, but rolling'. That could have been Farley's best role. Also, the commentary guy who kept using double-finger quotes, as he progressively got more gross ('a guy who doesn't let his scabs heal', or 'eats his dandruff flakes'). And lastly, as the guy who flips out when he finds out his coffee has been replaced by Folgers instant coffee. Thought that was very funny.

Some of the skits that didn't do much for me was the 'lunch lady' skit (looks like it had been written by 10 year olds), and the one where he's in drag talking about his latest line of skin products (Christina Applegate was REALLY miscast as Cher), and lastly.....as good a job as I thought he did as Rudy Giuliani's son Andrew, I thought it wasn't too professional making fun of a nine year old that has ADS. Overall, I'd give the compilation a 4/5 rating. The only skit I wish they included was the 'Little Women' one, where Chris breaks thru the ice, and hurls off a bunch of obscenities to the other women to rescue him. I remember the first time I saw that, and had stomach pains from laughing so much.

He was really a great comic!

4 out of 5 stars Good skits but alot missing.......2004-12-14

First i want to say that this does have alot of Farley's funny skits, but theres some missing gems and some of his better skits were shown only partially while some of his more forgettable skits were played in its entirety which made no sense to me.the only had one Matt Foley skit in its entirety which is undoubtedly the funniest character he ever did on SNL.the show a quick clip of the one where he steps in dog crap and falls through a window in the same house in another matt foley skit but they just show that brief part not the whole scene. Also they omitted Matt Foley as Santa Claus which was one of his funniest skits ever. Its on the SNL Christmas DVD but still that was no reason to leave this great skit out of his personal tribute DVD.He also does another guy at the newsdesk which they never showed the entire clips of.I forget the characters name but he always does the quotation marks with his fingers as he explains why some people don't like him.But anyways there is a few good skits here.My favorites are the one Matt Foley skit they gave us in entirety,The spoof on the old folgers crystals commercials "secretly replacing real coffee with instant coffee in fine restaurants" when farley flips out when he finds out he didn't get real coffee, that one had me aughing alot. And i liked the one where its like a 1950's winter setting with everyone talkng so nice and then chris farley suddenly screaming obscenities when he falls through the ice.But aside from thta as i said they left out alot of his best stuff.I am not sure if Lauren Michaels hand picked which would be his "best skits" but if he did he needs to realize his taste isn't in touch with most farely fans, they left alot of no brainers off this DVD that should have definitely been on this DVD.Hopefully they will do a better job in the future if they try to cash in on Farley again with another best of farely in the future but i am not holding my breath on that cause i doubt they'll do a best of on the same character twice.P.S. the one where he tries out for chippendales is funny as hell to,forget to mention that one, glad they included it in this DVD at least.

True-blue Agatha Christie fans know better than anyone that the creator of Miss Marple and Hercule Poirot did not always write crime-solving procedurals. Endless Night, published in 1968, is a perfect example of the moody, psychological thriller Christie sometimes explored, particularly in the late years of her career. This 1972 adaptation, scripted and directed by seasoned British filmmaker Sidney Gilliat, is indeed a strange duck: a compelling tale of small, unsettling phenomena and events, but with no defining mystery, no apparent crime to pull the details together--not until quite late in the story, that is. Hayley Mills and Hywel Bennett, partnered together in several films (The Family Way, Twisted Nerve) during the 1960s and '70s, play an American heiress and an underemployed London chauffeur who marry and move into a dream house designed for them by a world-class architect (Per Oscarsson). In short order, things begin to get mighty weird. A crazy old woman stomps around the couple's property, whispering ambiguous warnings. The bride's nuisance of a sister (Britt Ekland) moves in, and a handful of disapproving relatives keep popping up to belittle the hero. Where this is all leading is entirely unexpected--Christie and Gilliat really have us falling without a parachute for a while--yet it's exciting and tragic all at once. Nice performances all around, with special admiration for Oscarsson's role as the dying architect. --Tom Keogh

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars ....some are born to endless night........2007-02-28

This Agatha Christie thriller has adapted very well to the screen. Hayley Mills and Hywel Bennett make an excellent team in this very dark and mysterious story of love, and greed. Bennett has understood what`s wanted from him for the film and gives a fantastic performance. The haunting theme by Bernard Herrman adds colour and depth to this story which although made in the 70's, has aged very well.
Definitely not to be missed. Dir. Sidney Gilliat.

For lovers of Agatha Christie and Hayley Mills this is a "should see". Although very early seventies in look, especially the Gypsies Acre dream home, this film still satisfies with a twisted plot and good performances by Mills, Ekland and Bennett.

3 out of 5 stars Tricky.......2006-08-29

I'd love to be able to rave about this quirky movie, but it has rather too many flaws to make it a real gripping chiller, and not enough real action. Although saying that, it's flaws are small, and some of it's minor parts are actually quite impressive.

The biggest hurdle to get over as you settle down to watch this film is the problem of just what sort of film is this trying to be? The story takes us on a rambling journey through the life of Michael, a lazy and not entirely honest drifter, who works mostly as a chaffeur - when he's not being fired for being too cheeky to the rich clients. Michael has a strange, listless life, in which he dreams of setting up home in a particularly beautiful spot he has found in the country. In between doing this and visiting his disappointed old mum, he meets and romances an attractive young girl called Ellie, and after a lot of, well nothing really, they marry and get an architecht to build a dream home for them in the idyllic location. It's after they move in that things start to go a bit wrong, which is good news for the viewer because almost an hour of the films running time is gone before anything other than the mildly diverting actually starts to happen.

I can't say any more about the plot, except that if you don't know the story you should hopefully be pleasantly surprised by a few twists in the tale. The film looks good, albeit firmly planted in the 1970's, especially the scenes that show the very dated mod-cons of the supposed "dream house". I'd say this is more than a character study than anything, with Michael being the main focus for your attention. Although many pointers are dropped into the film to suggest that Michael is teetering on the wrong side of insanity, he is played rather vacantly by Hywell Bennett, who, despite giving him the required air of instability, never takes us very far beneath the surface of the character. Despite the fact that Michael also narrates much of the tale with a voice-over, I still ended up very confused about his true character.

Hayley Mills makes a delightful heroine, despite a very poor US accent that all but disappears most of the time, but Britt Ekland makes little of the enigmatic Greta, which is a shame after the film makes such a concerted effort to telegraph the mysterious nature of this character before she ever appears on screen.

What helps the film rise above a rather lacklustre plot are some sumptuous outdoor locations, along with some very daring fast cuts and flashbacks to vivid imagery, such as Michael's childhood frozen lake tragedy, and his memory of an ominous wall-hanging featuring a large eye. Michael's other visions include a nightmare in which Ellie has no face, and another in which he encounters her beside a tree, frozen in a smiling pose almost like a shop mannequin, which I found very eerie. In fact the film as a whole is very good at being odd. It chucks in a few rambling minor weirdos like the crazy old lady, and the main characters are forever asking each other things like: "Why is so-and-so riding his horse past our window even though he lives 15 miles away?"... These little oddities scarcely ever come to anything, but they do have the combined effect of making you think that everything is going to turn out very badly without ever actually spelling anything out.

The film belongs to a long-gone era of British pyschological thrillers from the 1970's, which I would suggest also includes "Neither The Sea Nor The Sand" and "The Beast In The Cellar"... all cold, windy countryside based affairs with lots of atmosphere and earnest British character actors, but not a lot of box office success. "Endless Night" might entertain you on a wet afternoon, and probably best so if you are willing to give time a film that does not seem to fit into any particular genre.

5 out of 5 stars A Shocking Twist For a Well Made Movie.......2005-11-26

Endless Night was not exactly what I would call a horror or a thriller, but the suspense and feeling that I got while watching this film were very strong. This movie had no unneeded scenes, characters, or phrases. Everything played an important part in the plot of this movie. The plot began as the mood was set as dull and sympathetic. Then all of a sudden, about 45 minutes into the film, the twist hit me harder than any I've ever seen before. I had to watch the movie twice to catch all the details. Hywel Bennett successfully portrayed Michael Rogers, and in doing so, captured several important literary elements. After all, a movie is simply a translation of a work of literature onto the big screen. As I was uncovering all of the twists to this movie, I realized that nothing was as it seemed. A perfect symbol was used to represent this movie - an auction. I hope that others may feel the same way as I did about this movie.

4 out of 5 stars See it for Hayley and the Bernard Herrmann score.......2005-09-24

One of Agatha Christie's last and least characteristic novels, "Endless Night" doesn't feature either of her series detectives. In fact, it doesn't really ask the question "whodunit?" so much as "will the guilty ones get caught?" The big problem with the movie is that Hayley Mills is so darn attractive (her future husband's first glimpse of her dancing in a field is heartbreaking)that you can't imagine anyone wanting to do her in, not even for a fortune. Hywel Bennett, a former chauffeur, is one lucky guy. Not only does he marry a beauty, but she's an heiress to boot. And isn't that some kind of house their architect friend builds for them! But when you have a list of co-stars that include an ultra-smooth George Sanders (in one of his last film roles), a disappointingly dowdy Britt Ekland, and an icy Lois (Miss Moneypenny) Maxwell, you know things are about to head south for the happy couple. And once Hayley, as the lovely Ellie, exits the screen, the lights go out and it's endless night for the viewer as well as the bride.

3 out of 5 stars Sean Young's lead role.......2005-10-23

Usually the supporting actress, Sean Young takes the lead in MEN. The cover of the DVD is mis-leading. Looking at it, one would naturally think that her character is devious, callous and manipulating. This is not the case. Nor is the title of the film very suitable as I don't think it's about "men" at all.

Rather, it's about relationships. Think back in your life to one person with whom you enjoyed spending time with more than anyone else. The one person of the opposite gender who made you feel more alive & vibrant than anyone else. This may or may not be your spouse; all of us have different life stories.

This, I believe, is the crux of this film. The magical times in our life and the value we place on that one special person - even if it is now only a distant memory. In this terse life, there is nothing like being able to bond with someone whom we are enamoured with.

To be sure, this movie tells a rather bizarre story. Instead of being a femme fatale of some sort, Sean Young plays a woman who is in some ways a sort of catcher-in-the-rye to lost men. Be forewarned, the story kind of meanders a bit & I'm not altogether sure if all the scenes should have made it past the cutting room floor.

If you like Sean Young, you will likely enjoy this film. She does waltz around nude a few times, which was a nice bonus. If you're not one who gets into movies that border on the "experimental," this one might be best avoided.

1 out of 5 stars Pointless and pretentious.......2002-04-29

This low budget film is a real bore. Sean Young plays a chef (who doesn't know how to cut vegetables) who is trying to "find herself" by experimenting with sex and relationships. She is torn between her older boss (John Heard) and a young politically active photographer (the very likeable Richard Hillman). This situation is not very compelling and the movie has nothing new to say.

Sean does a pretty good job with the role; however, she is clearly at least ten years too old for such a role and tries to look younger by wearing pigtails and overalls, which is laughable at times. Unfortunately, much of the dialogue and several of the scenes are also unintentionally funny. The only positive aspect of the movie is the use of some great old jazz songs - too bad the soundtrack isn't available. Skip this movie.

5 out of 5 stars very smooth.......2002-01-13

At the first sight, the film is all about sexuality. but to my point of view it's more a story about love. The actress finds out how to love herself by enjoying whatever she's doing. in the end the story turns out to be a very romantic love story. because after all the men she met she fell in love with one. it's heartbreaking. to me it was wonderful to look at a woman who can enjoy life that much, although her story is sometimes very tragical.

3 out of 5 stars Living by your own rules.......2000-05-02

I liked this movie, because here we have Stella living by her rules and feeling comfortable in her skin...she is not a pretender.. very honest..trying to make life smoother among the rough cuts and fearless to live her sexuality without the labels that men put on women for being sexual..It was a refreshing movie about a woman, singleness, and having the courage to set your own standards for living...I liked this movie.

2 out of 5 stars could have been better.......1999-10-30

This film needed a more introspective approach to really work. The music and pacing were weak. The boyfriends, with the exception of John Heard, were insipid and fairly revolting. Sean Young, who can be fine, was under directed here.

2 out of 5 stars Meh...not that great.......2007-05-14

First of all, I have to say that the only reason this got two stars is because I thought the premise was very interesting (althought not well executed) and the cinematogrophy (that is defintely spelled wrong) was fantastic. Other than that, was boring....almost fast forwarded to the end, but was worried that maybe I would miss something profound.....no such luck. Was very disappointed...

I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED IT AND FANS OF THE SLASHER GENRE SHOULD ENJOY IT AS WELL!!

2 out of 5 stars Training Wheels.......2007-04-03

Shot in a harsh mini-DV format with an oversaturation of colors, "Blood Trails" is, aesthetically, a visually arresting pic. Its raw lens is focused mainly on a bike messenger named Anne, whose relationship with her boyfriend, Michael, is on the rocks. In a weak moment, she agrees to a one-night stand with a steady-eyed bicycle cop (Chris), and immediately regrets it, as Chris gets a little ... weird. Rueful and ashamed, she tries, the next day, to patch things up with Michael via a nice, quiet bike ride in the woods.

The daytrip turns out to be neither nice nor quiet. Chris has followed them into the mountainside forests and demands complete possession of Anne, which starts with him dispatching of Michael in a ludicrous and altogether laughable fashion. The "horror" that follows Anne for the rest of this tepid film is, we are meant to realize, the repercusions of her single, adulterous mistake.

The problem is that Anne, like most Slasher Pic Sirens, continues to make mistakes in her attempts to find safety and freedom. In fact, of the many, many, many horror/killer films I've seen, Anne has got to be, hands-down, the absolute stupidest heroine I have ever had the misfortune to watch. I wondered, as the film progressed, how any clear-thinking director could expect an audience to find Anne sympathetic, her actions understandable, or her position terrifying.

Not that our villain is any more relatable. In addition to possessing a humbling silence common for most malicious men, Chris is also, apparantly, an expert tracker with something like superhuman strength and agility. Neither he nor Anne seem very real until the final scene. This last burst of full-flowered action is a welcome change of pace, but it is also short and truncated. One gets the impression that almost the entire movie was made on the basis of this inspired conclusion.

Almost. It was also (rather obviously) built upon an allegory of self-discovery and sexuality, and this is why -- I believe -- the film fails so fully. Instead of trying to tell an engaging story of escape and fear, our director and writer (Robert Krause) has lifted a maudlin metaphor out of the cheesiest of self-help books for women and has tried to give it animus and color. Anne, you see, is running from herself. Chris, you see, is her unlikely mentor, here to teach her all about the grisly corners of the human soul. This is why her actions are all so inane -- they are no more or less ridiculous than the rationalizations we use for the most common of human decisions (staying with the abusive spouse, smoking that cigarette, drinking and driving). In this case, Anne is running not from Chris, but from what she likes about Chris. Her fear is not that Chris will kill her, but that he WON'T. Don't you get it? It's all one. Big. Symbol.

It's also one big trainwreck of a film, deeper meanings notwithstanding. Metaphors and allegories are NO substitute for a good story, I don't care how profound or true the underlying message is. Krause has got the pacing down. He knows how to knit together a scene with crisp and crass chromatics. He even frames his moments rather well. But if a runner is going nowhere, pacing doesn't matter. If there is nothing interesting to see, color makes no difference. And if your Big Message is transmitted by symbols that are hollow and mundane, no amount of clever framing will make them seem anything other than dull.

1 out of 5 stars Ride, Scream, Kill, Repeat.......2007-04-01

Blood Trails; the story of a woman who - in guilt - gets away from life with boyfriend - who she just cheated on - to attempt to make things better. Too bad for her, her guilt isn't the only thing that follows her into the woods.

I feel Blood Trails had a lot more potential than it showcased. With what it did show, I didn't particularly enjoy. It was a repeated showcase. After we see the set-up of the cheating, the break-up, the getting back together, and the getting to the cabin woods - we have our leading lady witness a murder, ride on her bike, scream a lot, witness another murder (of a random man in the woods), ride on her bike, scream a lot, witness yet another mother of another random man in the woods, actually get the chance to confront the murderer as to why he's following her, then start riding on her bike and screaming some more.

I understand that we are led to believe that the chick is helpless and distraught after seeing so much grisly going on. But why not go the helpless gal route, and turn around and go the way you came and find your way to safety instead of riding around and screaming? It became tiring after a while, and eventually bored me to closing my eyes a few times. Only to open them at the sound of chick riding and screaming again.

There are some little shining moments in this mess, though. The visuals are pretty great. The colors and landscapes all were full and very mood setting. Rebecca Palmer, the lead, finally stopped getting on my nerves when it came to the conclusion in the cabin, and especially when it came to the final shot of the movie. Our resident madman, Tom Frederic, was the only actor to stay strong throughout the entire film. His facial expressions and his eyes did most of the work for him, and that was okay. And there's a nifty "that would never happen in real life" kind of kill that I wish was capitalized a little more.

In the end ... well, that's all I really enjoyed about Blood Trails, was the end. And I mean the end by the last 15 minutes or so. It could have been just a 20 minute short film and it would have been amazing.

1 out of 5 stars A total waste of time and money.......2007-03-19
