Description

What would you do if you returned home only to find it wasn't there anymore? This jarring, breakneck-paced thriller starring Jason Bateman ("Arrested Development") and Chynna Phillips (Say Anything) is a white-knuckle ride that delivers thrills at every turn! After escaping the drudgery of music camp, Toby Kellogg (Bateman) returns home to find his house empty and his family missing. He also finds himself being pursued by suspicious men in suits and a gun-crazy hitman! With the help of the pretty girl (Phillips) he's recently recruited to play in his band, Toby tries desperately to figure out what's going on. But can he find his family before his pursuers find him?

I loved this movie as a kid and I am so happy the powers that be have decided to release it finally! If you want to see a great 80's movie, this is it!

Since Moving Targets is the third Simon Yam film I've seen with a scene in exactly the same café (PTU and Fulltime Killer being the others), I'm beginning to think he owns the place and is supplementing his salary by renting it out as a location. The film itself is a minor and disposable Hong Kong actioner about two cops (one seeking revenge on his father/superior officer) who end up on opposite sides of the law that has the benefit of being for the most part extremely well directed even if there's a lack of focus in the predictable last third that lets down the best of what has gone before.

Easy to watch and just as easy to forget, this at least marks Jing Wong out as a director whose work might be worth further investigation - though a glance at his resume on the IMDB doesn't seem very encouraging, boasting as it does titles such as Raped by an Angel 4 - The Raper's Union, My Schoolmate the Barbarian and Love is a Many Stupid Thing.

Description

This is the only Dudikoff movie I like. He is convincing as the bumbling bounty hunter. The DVD sounds great especially in the action scenes...great snowmobile chase. And the fight scenes sounded real instead of the usual bad Hong Kong fight sounds. Funny and exciting...even my girlfriend liked it!

a different type of action movie that you would not usually see Michael Dudikoff in. the character he plays steers away from the 'martial arts superhero' stereotype and shows good acting abilities.

ITS A GOOD MOVIE.......2000-11-22

I cant agree with the last reviewer if indeed you could call what he/she wrote a review.I enjoyed it.Some of the acting was suspect but Bill Murphy and Terry Mcmahon more than made up for the weeknesses.The fight scenes between Bill and Don were realistic and truly powerful.Bills intensity is explosive and terry is truly menacing.

I've seen the one in english and its ok. its not worse the price the sell it for. If you want action it is great to say that this is not the movie for you. Help this growth on my belly is getting bigger. Oh yea I'm having your baby!
