Transplanted from England to the not-so-mean streets of Chicago, the screen adaptation of Nick Hornby's cult-classic novel High Fidelity emerges unscathed from its Americanization, idiosyncrasies intact, thanks to John Cusack's inimitable charm and a nimble, nifty screenplay (cowritten by Cusack). Early-thirtysomething Rob Gordon (Cusack) is a slacker who owns a vintage record shop, a massive collection of LPs, and innumerable top-five lists in his head. At the opening of the film, Rob recounts directly to the audience his all-time top-five breakups--which doesn't include his recent falling out with his girlfriend Laura (Iben Hjejle), who has just moved out of their apartment. Thunderstruck and obsessed with Laura's desertion (but loath to admit it), Rob begins a quest to confront the women who instigated the aforementioned top-five breakups to find out just what he did wrong.

Low on plot and high on self-discovery, High Fidelity takes a good 30 minutes or so to find its groove (not unlike Cusack's Grosse Pointe Blank), but once it does, it settles into it comfortably and builds a surprisingly touching momentum. Rob is basically a grown-up version of Cusack's character in Say Anything (who was told "Don't be a guy--be a man!"), and if you like Cusack's brand of smart-alecky romanticism, you'll automatically be won over (if you can handle Cusack's almost-nonstop talking to the camera). Still, it's hard not to be moved by Rob's plight. At the beginning of the film he and his coworkers at the record store (played hilariously by Jack Black and Todd Louiso) seem like overgrown boys in their secret clubhouse; by the end, they've grown up considerably, with a clear-eyed view of life. Ably directed by Stephen Frears (Dangerous Liaisons), High Fidelity features a notable supporting cast of the women in Rob's life, including the striking, Danish-born Hjejle, Lisa Bonet as a sultry singer-songwriter, and the triumphant triumvirate of Lili Taylor, Joelle Carter, and Catherine Zeta-Jones as Rob's ex-girlfriends. With brief cameos by Tim Robbins as Laura's new, New Age boyfriend and Bruce Springsteen as himself. --Mark Englehart

Description

From the guys who brought you GROSSE POINTE BLANK comes the absolutely hilarious HIGH FIDELITY. John Cusack (BEING JOHN MALKOVICH) stars as Rob Gordon, the owner of a semi-failing record store located on one of the back streets of Chicago. He sells music the old-fashioned way -- on vinyl, with two wacky clerks, the hysterically funny rock snob Barry (Jack Black) and the more quietly opinionated underachiever Dick (Todd Luiso). But Rob's business isn't the only thing in his life that's floundering -- his needle skips the love groove when his longtime girlfriend Laura (newcomer Iben Hjejle) walks out on him. And this forces him to examine his past failed attempts at romance the only way he knows how! For a rocking fun time, give HIGH FIDELITY a spin. It's sure to make your all-time top five list for comedies -- with a bullet.

5 out of 5 stars High Fidelity.......2007-07-19

Frears's surprisingly insightful film, adapted from the Nick Hornby novel, examines the comic romantic entanglements of a lovable music-store geek. His record stacks and Top Five lists may be in perfect order, but his love life is a shambles, and Cusack plays the part with shaggy-dog affection. Aside from solid direction and a great soundtrack, the other selling point here is the supporting cast, in particular Jack Black as a crass, super-snobby record nerd and Robbins as a New Age devotee. High Fidelity hits a steady, heartfelt groove that will keep you in stitches.

5 out of 5 stars "High Fidelity" - still great after all of these years.......2007-06-09

Whether you're a John Cusack fan or not, "High Fidelity" is a great movie featuring the humorous antics of a younger (funnier?) Jack Black and a nice light romatic buzz. An excellent date movie for two people of out-of-the-ordinary tastes in music (great soundtrack).

5 out of 5 stars Learn from the Anti Hero........2007-02-28

This is one of my favorite movies of all time. It's possible to learn from others to avoid those same mistakes yourself. I see that in this enjoyable movie. As with anything really good it seems to be more than the sum of its parts. You can pick apart individual performances and scrutinize every detail, or you can appreciate the overall message and theme. The overall sticks with me longer and keeps me coming back.

5 out of 5 stars A John Cusack classic........2007-01-05

John Cusack is my favorite actor, so it may sound like this is subject to bias. However, it's easy to judge a movie by its talent, especially when an actors fills a role as perfectly as Cusack does here. He plays the fool he always seems to play in this cult classic movie. Set to a great soundtrack, Cusack owns a record store and frequently makes "Top 5" lists, of all varieties. The movie as a whole is a documentation of a critical Top 5 list in his life--Top 5 relationship breakups. The simple man owning his small fry record store relates his 5 worst breakups throughout life, dating as early as his middle school childhood.

Ultimately, this is a sappy romantic comedy, as he retells the good and the bad from all his relationship woes, and ultimately searches for meaning and growth in his personal life, as his breakups and/or dumpings relate to it.

Classic Cusack here, so if you like the actor, you'll love the movie.

3 out of 5 stars Perfect Comedy.......2006-11-19

High Fidelity is a comedy about Rob Gordan (John Cusack), a record store owner/operator who has recently split with his girlfriend Laura (Iben Hjejle) and now is trying to get it all together. The movie opens with her leaving and Rob giving us his top five list of the most painful breakups. At work, his two "employees" Dick (Todd Louiso) and Barry (Jack Black) share his passion for music and to tell people that what to listen to. The top five motif is present throughout the entire movie, giving it a unique take on life. Rob cheated on Laura, borrowed money from Laura and hasn't given it back to her, and caused Laura to have an abortion. He pretty much feels like a jerk, but it all goes away when he finds out that she is living with Ian Raymond (Tim Robbins), his former neighbor known as "Ray".

When Rob realizes that he is miserable from thinking about his breakups from past years, he has an epiphany. If he just confronts each one individually, the pain will go away. To just see that they have moved on so he can move on as well, but the anguish over Laura resonates due to the fact that she keeps coming over to get her stuff. Now Rob must figure out if he should just move or try to make amends with Laura and get back together.

Cusack is fantastic as the funny, sometimes self loathing music enthusiast. He narrates just about the entire movie and some of the dialogue he gives us is priceless. Black and Louiso seem to be on opposite ends of the rock and roll spectrum but they come together to appreciate the art of making music even with their sometimes totally different styles. Black is very energetic as the self-proclaimed 'know it all' of rock music and Louiso is the calm, quiet rocker. Even Hjejle and Cusack's sister Joan give great performances. All together the cast did incredibly well.

High Fidelity is a perfect movie to just pop in one night and enjoy

Conceived as a television miniseries, this portrait of the epochal Motown vocal group scores as one of the most detailed re-creations of the '60s pop milieu ever filmed. Told largely through the eyes of founding member Otis Williams (Charles Malik Whitfield), The Temptations portrays its protagonists as soul Everymen whose early triumphs closely followed, and helped expand, Motown Records' emergence as "the Sound of Young America," providing an inspirational fable for black Americans.

Inevitably, of course, the story is also a cautionary tale about the price of success for both the Temps and their mentor, Motown founder Berry Gordy (Obba Babatunde). With hit records and tours, Williams and his partners grapple with drugs, alcohol, depression, jealousy, and delusions of grandeur. In particular, the galvanic lead singer David Ruffin (Leon) serves as both a focal strength and potential destroyer for the group, as his ego combines with a mounting cocaine habit to create a monster. At the same time, Gordy's eventual decision to leave his and the label's home, Detroit, for Los Angeles marks a loss of innocence for the group and their label-mates. The film provides ample insider detail about how the former Ford assembly-line worker created and controlled his unique hit factory.

Based on the biography coauthored by Williams and former manager Shelly Berger, the project gets a vital boost from behind the camera, thanks to executive producer Suzanne DePasse, herself a former Motown exec, and director Allan Arkush (Rock 'n' Roll High School). That lineage probably pulls some punches in terms of individual characters and Gordy's machinations, but it also affords The Temptations its convincing detail, as does the generous running time--a mixed blessing, due to the original two-part broadcast, which might have benefited from tightening for this video version. Giving the show its greatest kick are the group's original hits, performed and choreographed convincingly in lip-synched sequences. --Sam Sutherland

5 out of 5 stars only thing missing is widescreen.......2007-07-16

I sure wish there was a widescreen version of this great movie availible, it deserves having the "big screen" look. I know it was a TV movie, but I still think it would make a wonderful widescreen movie.

The movie itself is very well done, with a great script, great acting and direction, and fantastic production values throughout. All of these things make it easy to let yourself drift back to the 1960's and the music of Motown at it's very best. Thanks HBO, and thank you Temptations, for giving us such wonderful entertainment.

5 out of 5 stars There is only one Temptations movie I love more than this one..........2007-06-13

I saw this movie when it first aired on network television. Most of the commercials were selling the movie in VHS or DVD format and I've always regretted not buying it then. I knew the price the would go down later, but never imagined the movie would be shortened in its re-release.

In this DVD version, which I own nevertheless, some of my favorite scenes were taken out: Eddie Kendricks performing during his solo career; Eddie and David performing "You're My Everything" -- my all-time favorite Temptations song!; and the New Year's Day scene was shortened. This scene provided the most insight into David Ruffin's character. He talked about being abused as a child.

It is still a wonderful movie, no doubt. It is just to my misfortune that I am unable to watch it without a little disappointment. I enjoyed every second of the original version so much.

One reviewer has called Only the Strong Survive "an American Buena Vista Social Club," and that's not a bad way to describe this entertaining 2002 documentary. It certainly has a righteous pedigree: co-directors D.A. Pennebaker and Chris Hegedus have between them been responsible for films like Monterey Pop, Bob Dylan's Don't Look Back, Down from the Mountain, Startup.com, and numerous others; meanwhile, many of the great soul singers who appear here, including Isaac Hayes, Wilson Pickett, Sam Moore (of Sam & Dave), and Carla Thomas, have retained much of their power since their heydays decades ago. The interview portions are fun--we learn, for instance, that "the wicked Pickett" has a stash of $1,000 shirts and $6,000 suits--but it's the musical numbers that are the main attraction, and there are some good ones. Even better, the DVD's bonus features include half a dozen complete live performances not in the original film, along with audio commentary by legendary producer Jerry Wexler and several of the artists. Sure, it would have been nice if Aretha Franklin, Smokey Robinson, and other living soul greats had also taken part, but hearing Eugene Record and the Chi-Lites singing "Oh Girl" is just about worth the price of admission alone. --Sam Graham

1 out of 5 stars Songs for people with very short attention spans.......2006-07-04

With just two exceptions, of the 15 GREAT, live, concert performances available to have been included in this production, all have been trimmed to about 30 seconds in length. For those of you who have attended a performance of James Brown any time in the last 20 years, it will remind you of his technique of trying to fit 6 hours of hit music into 90 minutes. The few measures of Wilson Pickett performing "Land of a Thousand Dances" and "In The Midnight Hour", Sam Moore (of Sam and Dave) singing "Soul Man", Isaac Hayes "Theme from Shaft" and finally "Don't Let Go" were all HUGE disappointments. Just as each song begins to move your mind, body and soul, it's over.

3 out of 5 stars Collector's Item.......2006-02-25

I would ordinarily give this DVD a 4 star review except for all the needless chit chat included in it. How wonderful to see Sam Moore performing again. Perhaps his voice is not the powerhouse it once was but his soul is screaming to entertain. Jerry Butler is still incredible as are most of the entertainers on this DVD. If you are a serious soul collector you need to have this. Sandy

5 out of 5 stars Great Documentary!.......2006-02-21

Great documentary from people who have a love for music and giving due to those who created a culture.

3 out of 5 stars Great Live Performances, Not Great Documentary.......2005-04-27

Let me say first that the performances themselves of the artists presented here are unianimously fantastic, and deserve repeated viewing. If you are a fan of soul music, and want to see the talented singers doing their great shows still somewhere before the excited audiences, this film is for you. And I really enjoyed the music part of the film.

Unfortunately, very few archive footages are used, and there is no James, Smokey, or Aretha. But the live performances (mainly from the year 1999-2000) are all wonderful. The artists recorded here include, Jerry Butler, The Chi-Lites, Isaac Hayes, Sam Moore, Ann Pebbles, Carla Thomas, Rufus Thomas, Wilson Pickett, and Mary Wilson. They all sing one song or two before the very lucky audiences.

But you may ask me, Why three stars. Oh, it's because of the directors, who do not show the due respect to the history of the soul music itself. D. A. Pennebaker and Chris Hegedus do not know which they want to make, documentary or live music recording. It seems (and probably is) that the crew only recorded whatever they can quickly, and put the footages together. How can they put Mary Wilson (ex-Supremes) and Isaac Hayes in the same film without explaining the history of the soul music? I don't see the point of putting them together except that they are both great artists.

Still some moments are very touching to see. Sam Moore reveals his painful past while he was selling illegal stuff on the street around 1973, and it's joyful to see Carla Thomas and Rufus Thomas having good time together.

As documentary 'Only the Strong Survive' is never informative. You see this movie, and your knowledge about this great music doesn't change. Still, the live performances from the recorded artists are all dynamic and thrilling. Though you might find Wilson Pickett, when off stage, a bit too talkative, his singing ('Land of 1000 Dances' and 'In the Midnight Hour') on the stage is really exciting even more than 30 years after they became the hits. Watch these great live acts, and enjoy them.

1 out of 5 stars hopeful story, lackluster and tired telling of it.......2007-09-10

This is good for young teens. Even though everyone acts well, and it's full of people we like the intricacies of the story lack surprise as was the deft hand that could weave this more artfully. It was predictable and plodding.

5 out of 5 stars Cute and Funny.......2006-08-29

This movie is so much better than you would think you'd get from vh1.It's cute and funny with some pretty good music.Sean Patrick Flanery makes every minute worth watching.Although I have to admit I've had a thing for him for quite some time.I think that anyone who likes light romantic comedies won't be disappointed.

4 out of 5 stars Very Enjoyable.........2006-08-24

I'll have to agree with Sarah. I too have a thing for Sean Patrick Flanery and he is part of the reason I have even watched this more than once. I enjoy Cole and Maggie's onscreen chemistry. I especially love Mindy Sterling's character as the 'cultural identity faciliator'...she's a hoot. It's a nice 'escape' movie and yes, very much like a romance novel on film. I enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

4 out of 5 stars A Fun, Fluffy Indulgence.......2005-06-20

I'll admit that I have a thing for Sean Patrick Flannery, but he is only one reason I love this movie. This is like a paperback romance bundled up into a lowbudget TV movie. LOVED IT!

An outstanding entry in the Classic Albums video series, this hourlong documentary, produced in 1999, assembles the creators of U2's The Joshua Tree to comment about the musical magic that occurred a dozen years earlier in a home studio in Dublin. Merging past and present, coproducers Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno, mixer Steve Lillywhite, and guitarist The Edge isolate separate tracks on the album's master tapes to illustrate how some of U2's greatest songs were layered with each individual's crucial contributions. Bono listens in while Lanois deconstructs the masters, appearing genuinely shy about his vocal tracks but eloquent in describing the album as "not Irish at all" in its innovative sound, but "very Irish" in terms of the emotions that inspired it. Later, The Edge describes the "cinematic" sound of the album, intended to transport the listener to a specific physical location based on each song's mood and atmosphere.

Bassist Adam Clayton and drummer Larry Mullen weigh in with illuminating comments, and the hour offers an abundance of video excerpts, concert footage, and memorable anecdotes. Eno sets the record straight on the torturous process of recording "Where the Streets Have No Name" (he almost "accidentally" erased the master tape in hopes of starting from scratch), and Bono admits to a heavy Led Zeppelin influence on "Bullet the Blue Sky." Archival footage shows the recording in progress (one wishes there were more of it), and what emerges from this collective reminiscence is an enlightening study of mutual chemistry and fruitful collaboration. Upon viewing this video, another listening to The Joshua Tree will be more rewarding than ever. --Jeff Shannon

Description

Packed with reminiscences and powerful performances, this is the story of one of the most famous and best records of the eighties, a true Classic Album. Released in 1987, U2's The Joshua Tree topped the Billboard album chart for nine weeks, spending 58 weeks in the Top 40 and earning a Grammy Award for Album of the Year. The Joshua Tree gave birth to several major hit singles, including "With or Without You" and "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For," both of which reached Number 1 on the Billboard Top 100. The story of the making of The Joshua Tree is told here, via interviews and archival film footage, with contributions from band members Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen. U2's long-time manager Paul McGuinness reveals how this powerhouse album catapulted the band into the category of rock superstars. 60 minutes.

5 out of 5 stars So that's how they do it.......2007-08-09

This footage focuses on the production process of U2 creating music and videos, rather than the final product. If you want to see the polished stuff, pass this one up. If you like the details of how it comes to be, this gives great insight.

5 out of 5 stars For those interested in how an album is put together..........2007-05-29

There seems to be some confusion from people when they buy this DVD on what they will receive. If you are not familiar with the Classic Albums series (often played on VH1), they go through the process of mixing and mastering and creating an album. For musicians and die-hard fans, these programs give insight into the whole recording process.

Having seen several other Classic Albums shows such as Cream and The Band, I knew what to expect, but I also am married to a guitarist and am able to see the writing and production of songs firsthand. In addition, I am a HUGE U2 fan, and so this was definately interesting to me.

If you are looking for videos or concert footage, U2 has some excellent DVDs out there (and part of my own collection). But, if you want more insight on how albums are created and the work involved that goes into them, then this is the DVD for you.

4 out of 5 stars Good find for U2 fans.......2006-07-31

Being a long time fans of U2, we found the DVD interesting and enjoyable. I recommend it for others that would like hearing a mix of insightful dialog from the creators of the Joshua Tree album which included not just the band but in no small part the producers as well as some classic videos.

5 out of 5 stars I loved it!.......2006-04-28

I have never been to see U2 in concert, and this is the closest that I will probably ever get to watching them perform. I own several U2 CD's, and their music helped me out through a rough time in my life. What I enjoyed about this CD, is that I was able to see "behind the scenes." I was able to see how The Joshua Tree was put together, from management, to production, the types of rhythms and variations of them, to their final choices. This is not a music DVD, it's more about the making of their album. I was entertained, and glued to my TV. I enjoyed everything about this DVD. Now, I must buy the DVD from their Greatest Hits 1990-2000. I am sure that I will love it just as much!

5 out of 5 stars A look back into a great album.......2006-03-31

This is a DVD which is certainly not for the average U2 fan. First of all, you won't find any live footage or music videos from the album (except for The Sweetest Thing, but although the song was written back in '87, the video wasn't released till '98). Then, you will find the documentary doesn't really focus on the writing of the songs, but rather on the creative process in the studio, how the mixing was done and how the songs came to sound the way they do. This may not be the most romantic part of making an album, but as you'll see on this DVD, it is a really interesting and very demanding process, for both the artists and the engineers.

The analysis goes track by track (although, as some have noted, there are some tracks missing), and it's done predominantly by Daniel Lanois, with input from Pop-era band members.

U2 fans and music aficionados alike will be pleasantly surprised at how insightful this seemingly boring documentary can be. I wished they made a follow up on some of their latter albums.

As for people looking for live footage or music videos for U2's The Joshua Tree, I recommend looking into the feature film Rattle & Hum and the Best of 1980-1990 compilation.

What drives a legend like George Segal to appear in an indie mockumentary about a Jewish Hip Hop group? Is Mr. Segal really a rapper? You'll find yourself asking the same questions when you watch this outrageous film.

"Chutzpah, This Is?" is not only a multi-layered work of comedic genuis, but also the voice of any kid or rap aficionado looking to get "ahizzhead" at the gangsta game. I always give props to the founders of this spoken- word genre, but Chutzpah, This Is? is a perfect example of how a good ole rap session transcends colorlines and unifies peeps from all walks of life. Ay yo trip this shizz out peeps!

5 out of 5 stars I Want the feature!!!!.......2006-03-26

I haven't seen something this original in a long time. Not only was it hysterical, but it made me really wonder what was real in it or not. Since, I have discovered Chutzpah is a real group and that just makes this video all the more interesting. George Segal is amazing, perhaps more now than any other time in his career. The other main characters are unknowsn (I think), but they were amazing as well and I would be surprised if they were not already being offered other roles already.

5 out of 5 stars The truth is always stranger than fiction.......2005-12-17

What a great look into the makings of this wild group. At first I thought it wasn't real, but now I am convinced it is. Either way, it's funny and sometimes verges on Curb Your Enthusiasm type of awkward and uncomfortable...but in a good way. George Segal is amazing as always, but was surprised how good the Master Tav and Mc Meshugenah guys were as well. I suppose it's just who they are (a little disturbing), but my favorite was Jewdah...the menorah on the Volvo was calssic!

5 out of 5 stars Holy Heavy Duty Hip-Hop Comedy Batman!.......2005-11-24

Top honors...this short film, which comes with two extras (music videos) is a total hoot. Surprising, funny, entertaining - even the music delivers!

I watched all the way through holding a dirty dish in my hand but couldn't tear myself away from watching to go to the kitchen...I'm a Chutzpah fan; signed sealed delivered. Viewers will see some familiar faces in this release...I don't want to spoil it, but definitely watch through the credits at the end. You won't be sorry. - D

5 out of 5 stars Is it real or not? Either way, it's hysterical!.......2005-11-23

I have never seen anything like this before. First of all, there is a Jewish rap group which, at first, you think is real. Then, maybe not. Then, real again. What an ingenious idea to keep you guessing. Either way, it doesn't matter because it's funny and the music is excellent. This is hip hop anyone can get behind. What's more, I do believe this is the first documentary "musical" ever made. Chris Guest would be proud if only he had made it. Instead, it's from Diaspora Records ( a la Death Row...get it?). Brilliant. George Segal or Dr. Dreck or whoever he "really" simply glides through dead pan and is hilarious. Excellent cameos by Gary Oldman, Debi Mazar, even Vivian Campbnell from DEF! and a very talented, but somewhat unknown rap/beat box talent, JAQ all shine. Then there's the other two lead guys in the group, Master Tav, MC Meshugenah and Jewdah...these guys are great. If they are actors, they have a bountiful career ahead of them. If not, many more cool videos to come. All I have ot say is "Chanukaha's Da Bomb!"

Welcome to Death Row is the definitive documentary on the most compelling story in the history of rap music. Three years in the making, the film profiles the rise and fall of Death Row Records, from its ghetto beginnings to its release of an unprecedented six consecutive multi-platinum albums, making stars of Dr. Dre, Tupac Shakur, Snoop Dogg and others before crashing down amid tales of violent business practices and the murder of Tupac.

5 out of 5 stars Shockingly Entertaing!!!.......2007-04-20

I love this movie!!!! It was so shocking to see how Death Row really started and where they got the money to start the label. It gives you in depth and specific details on how the label was runned, what went down, and how it spun outta control. It doesn't portray Death Row CEO Suge Knight as a bad guy OR say he was responsible for pac's death, but gives you a look on how he helped launch Dre and Snoop's career and how he got so caught up with the money and how it corrupted him. This is a Great DVD on THE GREATEST HIP HOP LABEL and how things are handled in the hip hop industy and how power & money can corrupt and tear friendships apart. I recomend it to not only fans of Dre, Snoop,Pac, etc. but to any fan of Hip Hop. It will change the way you look and think of Death Row Records forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5 out of 5 stars Nothing Like The Smell Of Napalm In The Morning.......2006-11-09

If you are a fan of Gothic, Viking, Folk or Atmospheric Metal in general and you don't know about Napalm Records then you are truly missing out. The label has been putting bands like this on the map for the past couple of years and it seems as though everything I hear from their artist roster is an enjoyable display of the wondrous differences one can have happen in Metal music. This DVD/CD release is a cornucopia of those acts and you as the viewer get video films as well as live performance footage of what they offer you. It's as much a fun thing to watch as it is a learning experience about bands that you would not have readily available to you in most areas or unless you knew exactly where to look for it. On the DVD you get 19 promotional videos and of the lot, I most enjoyed Leaves' Eyes, Korpiklaani and Tyr. Leaves' Eyes is one of the label's main artists so they also get an enjoyable special feature elsewhere on the DVD where you find them in studio and take a Winters Walk with singer Liv Kristine. It makes this something that a Leaves' Eyes fan will enjoy very much since there is a batch of extra footage on the band that they might not find anywhere else. Tyr is an interesting group from the Faroe Islands while Korpiklaani shows the world that even a flute or accordion player can find their way into a Metal group as they deliver some of the most rousing Folk Metal you will hear in a long time. If you enjoy Finntroll, then you will also appreciate Korpiklaani. The live performances on the DVD feature Midnattsol (a band that features Liv Kristine's sister), along with Enthroned and Saltatio Mortis. The wide variety of bands on the DVD make it something that you will enjoy watching from beginning to end, and perhaps even referring back to once in awhile. The best aspect for this would be it prompting you to look deeper into some of the bands, many who have reviews featured on this website.

A bonus audio CD that features music from additional bands such as Draconian, Summoning and Wig Wam among the others that are on the DVD portion round out the release and make it something truly worth picking up. The gates to new worlds await you inside the Realm Of Napalm Records. Isn't it time you go exploring? I think it's a good idea.
