B-rabbit is a struggling rapper desperate to make it to the big time. He takes a job at a steel plant so he can save up money for studio time. He fights off gang members and has the help of his friend future. It is loosely based on Eminem's life.


Eminem is quite the rap star today. He has sold millions of copies of cds
that are excellent hip hip masterpieces. He has taken the world by storm and shown that White people can rap. But, he stretches himself and his persona into this movie and the movie itself is surprisingly simple and easy to watch. It doesn't seem like a biography movie because the character's names aren't the same as the real person's name. Probably, Eminem didn't want the movie to be like a "Eminem can act" vehicle for him. He had already shown his rapping skills and enforced them through out the movie, but he does pull off a good performance as B-rabbit.

Curtis Hanson, who I find to be a okay director, seemingly could've been out of place in the hip hop culture but his direction works well with the atmosphere and location of the movie as the film as the film moves along at a fast pace set by his direction. He gets the performances out of the characters that were needed. He doesn't oversell the characters or oversap them so that they become these cheesy characters. You feel for the characters after you are done watching the movie. Curtis Hanson defines the character by the way he is portrayed on screen. We see his actions and we ulitametely root for him in the end as the credits roll and we hear lose yourself by Eminem. The movie then either sinks in or just leaves your mind and body as fast as it entered. it is one of those movies where you have to appreciate the hip hop culture and understand it to watch the movie, or otherwise you would feel incredibly lost in the mist of the movie and you will leave scratching your head and wondering what you have just watched. A solid movie.

This movie is really not as bad as i percieved a typical rap hip hop stereo typical movie,i must admit that this movie had a reasonable and predictable story line it's like i heard it all before! but i must say that eminem can act and kim bassinger was really great in this movie, i dont know but to me all the white folks look like they had lots of sleepless nights, maybe it's just me? it kinda had white trash feel to it, the mood of the movie kinda had a hopeless i want to commit suicide aura, (trivial) but none the less it was entertaining i say it's definitely worth a watch cast you own opinions laterz folks.

If your into white trailer trash wigger poser tough guy stuff or just feel sympathy for a white trailer trash loser who just didn't seem to have a perfect life then this gimmick of a saga movie is recommended just for all you white trash bedwetters out there who just want to become black and start living the fantasy of a gangsters paradise WORD!. This movie was so incredibly retarded they should have played this just on mtv never on VH1. Why did this movies price dropped to 1 cent on amazon? because this movie was stupid as hell eminem didn't really have a hard life his life was not perfect and who's idea was it to have britteny muphy to play as kim and kim basinger to play as eminems mommy *cough mommas boy! cough*. It's a shame that alot of people eat it from talentless guys like eminem who plague the world with thier so called music.

B-rabbit is a struggling rapper desperate to make it to the big time. He takes a job at a steel plant so he can save up money for studio time. He fights off gang members and has the help of his friend future. It is loosely based on Eminem's life.


Eminem is quite the rap star today. He has sold millions of copies of cds
that are excellent hip hip masterpieces. He has taken the world by storm and shown that White people can rap. But, he stretches himself and his persona into this movie and the movie itself is surprisingly simple and easy to watch. It doesn't seem like a biography movie because the character's names aren't the same as the real person's name. Probably, Eminem didn't want the movie to be like a "Eminem can act" vehicle for him. He had already shown his rapping skills and enforced them through out the movie, but he does pull off a good performance as B-rabbit.

Curtis Hanson, who I find to be a okay director, seemingly could've been out of place in the hip hop culture but his direction works well with the atmosphere and location of the movie as the film as the film moves along at a fast pace set by his direction. He gets the performances out of the characters that were needed. He doesn't oversell the characters or oversap them so that they become these cheesy characters. You feel for the characters after you are done watching the movie. Curtis Hanson defines the character by the way he is portrayed on screen. We see his actions and we ulitametely root for him in the end as the credits roll and we hear lose yourself by Eminem. The movie then either sinks in or just leaves your mind and body as fast as it entered. it is one of those movies where you have to appreciate the hip hop culture and understand it to watch the movie, or otherwise you would feel incredibly lost in the mist of the movie and you will leave scratching your head and wondering what you have just watched. A solid movie.

This movie is really not as bad as i percieved a typical rap hip hop stereo typical movie,i must admit that this movie had a reasonable and predictable story line it's like i heard it all before! but i must say that eminem can act and kim bassinger was really great in this movie, i dont know but to me all the white folks look like they had lots of sleepless nights, maybe it's just me? it kinda had white trash feel to it, the mood of the movie kinda had a hopeless i want to commit suicide aura, (trivial) but none the less it was entertaining i say it's definitely worth a watch cast you own opinions laterz folks.

    Ostensibly shot in only seventeen days, and with a scant budget of less than half a million dollars, this exercise from the cinematic Theatre of Paranoia is similar in tone to many other low cost works of Roger Corman, executive producer for this effort that is filmed largely in and near the Wilshire area of Los Angeles, but although a suspenseful mood is maintained throughout, a plot having little relevance to logic cripples the affair. Julia (Kim Delaney), a clothing designer driving from a fashion showing in San Francisco back to her home in Los Angeles, through the misguidance of lust picks up a hitchhiker, Trey (Miles O'Keefe), and spends a night of carnal pleasure with him in a motel, only to discover that her attraction to this man, although plainly genuine, is going to cause severe problems for her because he begins to stalk her at her home and place of employment. When Julia's best friend, who is staying with her following a breakup with her fiancé, is murdered in their apartment, Julia becomes terrified that Trey's designs upon her may be more malign than amourous, and as an attempt to have him removed from her life, she calls upon her local police department for assistance, there meeting Detective Morrison, played by the film's director and screenwriter Larry Brand, who thereby assumes a critical role as the film approaches its climax that also engages Julia's first-string lover, Arthur (Timothy Bottoms), in addition to a private investigator that Arthur has hired to follow her due to his suspicions regarding possible inconstancy on her part. In spite of a steadily worsening storyline and an ending that is completely ludicrous, director Brand paces the action skillfully, therewith maintaining a viewer's interest that is heightened even more by a good deal of attention that is given to detail, while the cinematography and the editing of David Sperling and Stephen Mark, respectively, are valuable visual contributions, but unplanned presence of microphone booms, attention disturbing jump cuts, and erratic sound quality that too often shields dialogue from being comprehensible, all combine with the shabbily constructed script to drop the production into the extensive catalogue of unmemorable films.
