21 matches, over 9 hours of the best match type in WWE history........2007-09-11
I remember watching WMX when I saw my first ever ladder match between Razor Ramon and HBK, and that match will forever go as one of the greatest of all time in my books. WHY THE HECK WASN'T IT ON THIS DVD?!?! Anyways, it includes all of the other great ladder match, save for a few here and there. but how can you complain with 21, over 9 hours of the greatest matches in WWE history?
Match listing:
DISC 1:
Jake Roberts Vs. Junkyard Dog
Boring, starts about 5 minutes in. They make no use of the ladder whatsoever. Very old match right here. 2/10
Bret Hart Vs. HBK
The first ever ladder match in WWE history, and what a good one it was. The showstopper Vs. the hitman. They make better use of the ladder in this match, and it's a classic, and is a great example of the best 90's feud of all time. 6.5/10 (age got the best of it)
HBK Vs. Razor Ramon Summerslam 1995
I thought the WMX match was WAY better, but that doesn't mean this one sucks, it's actually really good. You have 2 of the greatest superstars ever in the WWE, and a ladder to determine the outcome. Not as good as their WMX match, but certainly better than others. 8/10
Triple H Vs. The Rock Summerslam 1998
Weird seeing Triple H in tights agin, I totally forgot about the early DX days, and boy was the summer of '98 an amazing one. They make pretty good use of the ladder, no really great spots, but still a good match between 2 guys who later became icons for the WWE. 7.5/10
Edge & Christian Vs. New Brood (Hardy Boyz) No Mercy 1999
First ever tag ladder match, and what an amazing one it was. This match will go down not only as one of the greatest ladder matches ever, but one of the best tag match ever. These 2 teams were just getting started in the WWE, and soon became icons for the greatest tag division ever in WWE history. Great match, great spots. 10/10
First ever TLC match (Dudleyz Vs. Haryz Vs.E&C) Summerslam 2000
This match was evolutionary, and included 3 of the best tag teams ever in WWE histroy. So many amazing table spots, so many amazing ladder spots, so many amazing spots, period. Some of the best entertaininment, and best action ever in WWE history is in this match. Put all three teams to the test, and set the standard for the rest of the ladder matches to come. 10/10
WCW ladder match (3 Count Vs. Jung Dragons Vs. Knoble/Karagias Starrcade 2000
I was never really into WCW that much, but this match was ver ygood because I love cruiser weight type wrestling. I've heard many bash this match, but I enjoyed it. They made good use of the ladders, but you can tell these guys were lost at first. 7.5/10
Chris Benoit Vs. Chris Jericho Royal Rumble 2001
This was one of the better 1on1 ladder matches. A really amazing chair shot with Benoit diving through the ropes and Jericho crashing his skull in. You really get to see what these 2 had to offer, and the walls of Jericho on the top of the ladder. 8.5/10
DISC 2:
TLC 2 WM X-Seven
This match wasn't as god as TLC 1, but was darn near close. Some really amazing spots using tables, and some really nice ladder usage. Highlights incluse a 20 foot spear, and a 20 foot Swanton bomb. Very great match from a very great PPV including once again 3 of the great teams in WWE history. 10/10
TLC 3 (Hardyz Vs. E&C Vs. Dudleyz Vs. Benoit/Jericho)
This will go down as one of the greatest matches ever on Smackdown! and one of the greatest matches period. This is a historic match not only being the first ladder match on WWE TV, but the first ever fatal 4-way. Benoit gets a nasty 13 month injury because of this match, but he still puts on a darn good show. Great action from all 4 teams. blurring was terrible in this match though. 9.5/10
Christian Vs. Edge No Mercy 2001
These 2 were one of the greatest tag teams ever, and this is at the point where they break up, and feud. They made their names known at No mercy '99, and they settle their differences at No Mercy '01. This is a very good match, One of the greatest I've seen from the both of them, only to be outshined by their cage match. 7/10
Eddie Guerrero Vs. RVD
This was the second ever vroadcast ladder match for WWE, and one of my personal favorite 1on1 ladder matches. These 2 were some of the greatest wrestlers WWE ever had. 2 great high flyers, an amazing feud. This match is jst a taste of what they were capable of. A nice botch when RVD tried to 5-star but fell. They edited out where the fan ran in and knocked Eddie off the ladder, which was hilarious. no more blurs. 9/10
Undertaker Vs. Jeff Hardy
MY personal favorite 1on1 ladder match, and will go down as one of Jeff Hardy's greatest matches ever. this match had such a great story, and these 2 really put on an amazing show. Taker was a bit slow however, but it was a very nice match. Taker raised Jeff's hand afterwards, which was a mark out moment. 10/10
TLC 4 (Kane Vs. RVD/Jeff Vs. Bubbah/Spike Vs. Jericho/Christian)
I remember watching this episode of Raw, and can honestly be said to be the greatest Raw of all time. Not only did you get a cage match, a street ight, but then you got this match, another one of the TLC classics including only 3 originals, but that didn't take anything away from it. This was my second favorite TLC, and was full of nonstop action, and had some REALLY nice spots. 10/10.
Chris Jericho Vs. Christian Unforgiven 2004
I didn't really like this match. I love Christian, and I love Y2J, but this match just wasn't the best of them. It was slow, and didn't really have to many highlights. It was awesome when Christian had it won, but because jericho flipped ihm off, he got off the ladder. Not the best match from these 2. 6/10
DISC 3:
First EverMoney in the Bank Ladder Match (Benoit Vs. Jericho Vs. Edge Vs. Kane Vs. Shelton Benjamin Vs. Christian)
This was an amazing match. I love all 6 of these superstars, and you got to see the best from all 6 of them. Shelton shined the brightest in this match, and really showed off what he can do. Why he hasn't had a ladder match for a title is beyond me. Best MitB match to date. 9.5/10
Eddie Guerrero Vs. Rey Mysterio Summerslam 2005
This match was great, but the storyline is what made it terrible.Too many stupid people got involved and ruined it, they did however make the best of this. It's worth watching, but if you remember the story line, you can get easily ticked. 7/10
Edge Vs. Matt Hardy
This was a nice nostalgia moment because of the past these 2 had, but this was nothing short of what the 2 can do. This match had some really nice ladder spots, including osme I've nerver seen before. A little bit too much interference form Lita, and Matt did really good still. a bit on the short side, but still a great match. 8/10
TLC for the WWE title Ric Flair Vs. Edge
This was on live TV? That amazes me, I was on a break form WWE at this time, so this match amazed me. Flair turned the clock back 20 years in this match, but thayt didn't stop me from cringing when he fell through a table of fell off the ladder. I thought he was goging to croak at any given moment. Too much Lita interference again. Great match for both stars. 9/10
TLC match (John Cena Vs. Edge) Unforgiven 2006
This is another one of my personal favorites. I hate Cena, but I love Edge. Both guys were really great in this match, minus Cena looking lost, and messing a few moves up. Edge made up for his stupidity. This match was amazing, and action packed. Wrong guy won though. 10/10
Jeff Hardy Vs. Johnny Nitro
Jeff Hardy has always been one of my favorite, and Nitro is one of my current favorites. These 2 did really great in this match, and it was nice seeing new blood go toe to toe with a Hardy in a ladder match. nitro brought out the best in Hardy. 8.5/10
Fatal 4-way Ladder match for the WWE tag titles (Londrick Vs. Regal/Taylor Vs. MNM Vs. Hardy Boyz)
I loved seeing the Hardyz and Londrick square off, they would make the best feud. Regal and Taylor brought this match WAY down. MNM looked pretty good in that match. This was a nice action packed match, not as good as the TLCs but still a very nice match. I was glad to see Londrick win. Mercury got a terrible injury from this match. 8.5/10
This DVD is worth your money. Every match is worth watching, and some are worth watching many times, There were a few matches missing like Jeff Hardy Vs. RVD from Summerslam 2001 or Team Angle Vs. Eddie and Tajiri. It REALLY needed the triangle ladder match from WM 2000 and the ladder matc from WWX, but you still get a great listof matches. Why Todd Grisham hosted is beyond me. The blurring can be really annoying at times, but the action can hide it. If you notice, this was kinda a highlight of Edge's amazing career in WWE, from his tag days, to his midcard days, to his main eventing.
Go out and buy this.
3 and half... but some great matches are not included on this........2007-09-02
I don't think I need to bore you with another review of each match, there is enough to read around here already.
What I will say is that this focus' on only WWF/E matches, and one WCW match. The WCW did have some great matches with Rey Mysterio and Billy Kidman which arenot anywhere to be seen here. They may not have been the best ladder matches of all time, but they where a lot better then the Undertaker VS Jeff Hardy match that has been included in this collection, which apart from the ladder being in the middle of the ring, it was hardly a great "ladder" match.
Also missing are the extreme ladder matches from the old ECW days. Perhaps Terry Funk pushing cactus jack off a ladder into a barbwire rope barricade and landmines was considered to violent for a WWE release? I think we would have enjoyed that match being included wouldn't we?
And I do not see why they did not include the first HBK vs Razor Ramon ladder match. It may not have been the first ever ladder match, but it's the match that really innovated the ladder match into the WWF, you only see a couple of highlights from it before the rematch they had that is shown on this dvd.
so, with matches missing, it can't be the perfect 5 star release.
Overall, the TLC matches are all included here, they are worth the price of purchase alone.
It's about time the WWE went all out!.......2007-08-11
You already know what matches are on the dvd from other reviews so I'll just say it's great that they went all out with this dvd but there's still some good matches missing. Such as Eddie Guerrero vs X-Pac at NWO Souled Out (U.S title), Chris Beniot vs Jeff Jarrett at Starcade (U.S Title) "although we're lucky they didn't hold back the release of this dvd to take out the Beniot matches that are already on it", The Money in the Bank Match that RVD won and the one that Kennedy won.
Plus HBK's first Ladder match with Razor Ramon, both their Ladder matches could've been here since both are good. Goldberg also had a Ladder match with Scott Hall in WCW and that's not here either but I don't remember that one being too good. I remember Kurt Angle vs Chris Beniot in a Ladder match with the medals on the line but that might've been a 3 Stages of Hell match so that could be why it's on not here. But despite some matches missing this is a more sold WWE dvd than the WWE title match dvd. I hope they release a Vol 2 of the World Heavyweight Title History since a lot of good matches are missing and I'm not talking about John Cena matches "snores".
Ladder Match.......2007-08-09
My son loves this DVD. I'm glad Amazon had it, we could not find it in the stores, great low price too!
Suprisingly WWE didn't do a hack job.......2007-08-07
Usually wwe forget to add entrances to most of their compilations. For me the addition of the entrance music can make or break a collection. But they added them here. Also for the most part they added some very good and memorable matches. I'm can't note them all, but I know for a fact WCW had some pretty good ladder matches. I'm mostly a fan for the tag team and the money in the bank matches. Because their usually non stop action.
Todd Grisham hosts the DVD with some appearances by past ladder match contenders. I was kind of disappointed with that. I felt it should have been hosted by Shawn Michaels. Also I felt it really didn't add much to the overall collection because I really didn't get into it.
I was also hoping that the Razor Ramon and Shawn Michaels Ladder match of Wrestlemania was also in its entirety. But they only showed clips of that one. I'll just go ahead and list the matches.
Ladder match for North American Heavyweight Championship and Cash
Jake Roberts vs. Big Daddy Ritter; Stampede Wrestling July 1979
A decent match but really is nothing next to the matches of today and yesterdecade.
IC Title
Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels; July 1992
I always wanted to see this match in its entirety and I finally saw it. Pretty good match.
IC Title
Shawn Michaels vs. Razor Ramon; Summerslam 1995
The second and last between these two. But I liked the first one better.
IC Title
Rock vs. Triple H; Summerslam 1998
Terri Invitational Tournament
Edge and Christian vs. The New Brood(Jeff & Matt Hardy); No Mercy Oct 1999
Who would have thought this was just the beginning of the things soon to come?
TLC Tag Team Championship
Dudleyz vs. The Hardys vs. Edge and Christian; Summerslam 2000
The first TLC ever.
Ladder match for a WCW Cruiserweight championship contract
3 Count vs. Jung Dragons vs. Jamie Noble & Evan Karagias; Starrcade 2000
WCW cruiserweights hardly ever disappoint, and this match was no exception.
IC Title
Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho; Royal Rumble 2001
Another classic from their awesome rivalry.
TLC 2 World tag team championship
Hardys vs. Dudleyz vs. Edge and Christian Wrestlemania x-7 2001
Possibly the best of the series.
Fatal 4 way TLC for the World Tag Team titles
Edge & Christian vs. Jericho & Benoit vs. The Hardyz vs. The Dudleyz; Smackdown 2001
The match Edge clearly lost, but wwe changed history and said he didn't.
IC Title
Edge vs. Christian No Mercy 2001
WWE breathing life into an old brother vs. brother jealousy storyline. Only this time a ladder was added.
IC title
Eddie Guerrero vs. Rob Van Dam; Raw May 2002
My favorite match between these two. It should have been on ppv.
Undisputed WWE Championship
Undertaker vs. Jeff Hardy; Raw July 2002
I didn't really feel this match. I'm just not used to Taker in these kind of matches.
TLC match for World Tage Team Titles
Kane & The Hurricane vs. Rob van dam & Jeff Hardy vs. Bubba Ray & Spike Dudley vs. Chris Jericho & Christian; Raw October 2002
IC title
Chris Jericho vs. Christian; Unforgiven 2004
Money in the Bank
Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho vs. Edge vs. Christian vs. Kane vs. Shelton Benjamin; Wrestlemania 21 2005
First ever Money in the Bank ladder match. No real difference between the other ones except its a briefcase.
Ladder Match for the custody of Dominick
Eddie Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio; Summerslam 2005
A very good match from what I remembered. But I hate this storyline so much. Its so stupid and thats the reason I only saw this match once. I usually just skip this one.
Loser Leaves Raw
Matt Hardy vs. Edge; Raw Oct. 2005
TLC for the WWE Championship
Edge vs. Ric Flair; Raw Jan. 2006
I like Ric Flair but he doesn't belong in matches like this. But thats just my opinion though.
TLC for the WWE title
Edge vs. John Cena; Unforgiven 2006
Just like another reviewer noted. This is when Cena is at his best. And this was a very good match. In fact, I feel this was Cena's best match right before the I quit match with JBL.
IC Title
Jeff Hardy vs. Johnny Nitro; Raw Nov. 2006
I always felt Nitro was talented. I waited patiently for his solo push and this match proved he deserved a good push. I've enjoyed a good portion of his matches since this one.
Fatal Four Way for the WWE tag titles
Paul London & Brian Kendick vs. MNM vs. Hardyz vs. William Regal & Dave Taylor; Armageddon DEC. 2006
This was a brutal match, part of a brutal ppv. Watch Mercury's face get turned into hamburger.
The ladder match is not my favorite type of match. And these days if they don't involve the Hardy's I usually have low hopes for them. I'm very happy WWE didn't half bake this one like the History of the Heavy weight Championship and the extremly atrocious best of the IC title. Any wrestling fan should appreciate this with open arms. Its 3 disk of non stop action and fun.

THE ENDING IS A CLASSIC.......2007-08-15
ROYAL RUMBLE 2007
This is with out a doubt one of the best Royal Rumbles in the history of wrestling; the rumble match itself was a classic, the best actually. I was really impressed with this event. Enough of this lets get to the review.
1.MNM VS THE HARDY'S-excellent way to start off the show, two of the best teams in the business went head to head in this fast paced match. The match went back and forth for the majority of the match. This was a great way to open the show.5/5
2.ECW CHAMPIONSHIP:BOBBY LASHELY VS TEST-this was a decent match up, the thing is that these two had a better match on ECW on the SCI-FI Channel a week or two earlier. This match was ok though, it is not as bad as most make it out to be, I actually like both of these guys. I have always liked Test when he was in a heel role, and even though I think Lashley became a champion to early I still think he did well in this match. The match ended with a count out, and was over fairly quickly for a title bout.3.8/5
3.WORLD TITLE:BATISTA VS KEN KENNEDY-this was actually a really good match, I don't think too many people give it the credit it deserves. I do agree that Mr. Kennedy carried this match but Batista did his thing even though I' am not his biggest fan. This was a very well paced match and I dare say one of the better matches of the night, I really enjoyed this match even tough Batista held on to the belt.4.5/5
4.WWE CHAMPIONSHIP:JOHN CENA VS UMAGA-still not sure how I feel about Umaga but I have always liked Cena, I liked him better as a bad guy though. This was a really good match and is actually what you would have though the ECW match would have been like. The ending for this match was really good, and ended up being better than I thought it would be.5/5
5.ROYAL RUMBLE-this has got to be the greatest Royal Rumble match to ever take place, and if not the greatest it's still one of. The entire match was paced well and very entertaining, but like everyone else I really enjoyed the action when it came down to the TEXAS boys. HBK and The Undertaker gave us one of the greatest endings in the history of this event, I like how they gave each other respect at the end. CLASSIC.5/5
Excellent Royal Rumble, I recommend it.

2) BOBBY LASHLEY VS. TEST (ECW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP)
HORRIBLE! ABSOLUTELY GAY!!! 2/10
3) BATISTA VS. MR KENNEDY.....KENNEDY (WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP)
THIS MATCH WAS BORING TOO. BUT BATISTA WINS WITH A BATISTA BOMB. 6/10
4) JOHN CENA VS. UMAGA (LAST MAN STANDING MATCH FOR THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP)
THIS MATCH WAS PRETTY GOOD. THE ENDING WAS SWEET WHEN JOHN CENA USES THE RING ROPE (OUT OF ALL THINGS) TO CHOKE OUT UMAGA WITH THE STFU. 9/10
5) 30 MAN ROYAL RUMBLE
THIS WAS THE FIRST ROYAL RUMBLE WITH ECW, SMACKDOWN, AND RAW. I THOUGHT IS WAS COOL HOW THEY USED WEAPONS IN THIS ROYAL RUMBLE. UNDERTAKER FINALLY WINS A RUMBLE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HIS CAREER 9/10

WWE: where the big boys play.......2007-08-08
WCW coined the phrase back in the early to late 90's but WWE still uses it to this day. TNA has smaller wrestlers but WWE has the biggest. Khali and Big Daddy V are the two that come to mind. Hell I bet if Khali or Big Daddy V was let go by WWE, TNA would pick them up and give the former WWE treatment. Meaning a one month or less reign of the TNA world title.
Welcome Everyone To Sunday Night RAW!!!!.......2007-07-13
Overall, this PPV came off like a 3 hour edition of RAW or SmackDown where most the major matches were either turned into angles (HBK/Orton & ECW Title match) or were just watchable (Cena/Khali & Edge/Batista). This event looked good on paper but didn't live up to the hype whatsoever.
Ric Flair vs. Carlito - This opener did it's job in getting the crowd crazy as St. Louis usually always goes crazy for Ric Flair. Carlito mostly did a mat-based style along with working on Flair's arm throughout of the match. This was a good opener.
ECW Champion Mr. McMahon, Shane McMahon, Umaga vs. Bobby Lashley - I didn't know Goldberg was black? Seriously, this match was a carbon copy of an old Goldberg match from WCW. Lashley ran though Shane & Umaga in around a minute while Vince kept avoiding Lashley. And Vince kept the title since he wasn't the one who was defeated. They wasted so much on television for weeks for this match & this was the result? Save this crap for RAW or ECW, not for a show people pay around $40 for.
C.M. Punk vs. Elijah Burke - This match was very similar to the opening match in that it went around the same amount of time & Elijah worked on an injured body part thoughout various times of the match which in this case, it's Punk's heavily taped ribs. The match itself was slow at times to the point where the crowd was chanting for "J.B.L." at one moment. It was a good undercard match with nothing really noteworthy except for Punk perfectly selling his ribs throughout the bout.
Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Orton - Randy Orton came back to his hometown in another "match" that turned into a segment that should have been saved for RAW instead of a PAY-per-view. Earlier in the night, Orton attacked HBK during an interview adding to the concussion he got from Khali two weeks earlier. This was just Orton attacking HBK's head for around 5 minutes with a DDT & constant stomps to the head with HBK's only offense being his elbow drop from the top before his body gave out on him. The match got stopped with HBK taking an RKO afterwards. Just like the ECW title match, this should have been saved for RAW instead of a PPV because people don't pay to see glorified squash matches.
World Tag Team Champions The Hardys vs. Lance Cade & Trevor Murdock - A rematch from Backlash with J.B.L. & Michael Cole calling the match for some reason (since Matt's the only one on SmackDown). This tag match & storyline itself was very similar ot the Eddie Guerrero/Batista one from back in 2005 where the heels were trying to play by the rules & not cheat. It was a good tag team match but to me, was a step down from their Backlash match the previous month. Besides seeing Trevor Murdock pull off the Canadian Destroyer, there really wasn't anything memorable here eventhough it was a solid contest. This was the match of the night for me.
World Champion Edge vs. Batista - The match went around 10 mins. and it was a watchable match. It came off to me as Batista doing exactly what he was doing at the Royal Rumble, just looking to get his spots while doing a poor job (compared to Flair & Punk earlier in the night) of selling his injury. Edge as usual did work hard here but he's not Triple H & he's not Undertaker so we can't expect him to pull out that type of performance from Batista. Again, the match is watchable but in no ways worth of being a "World Championship" match.
2 out of 3 Falls Match: United States Champion Chris Benoit vs. MVP - This match was my least favorite out of their 4 match series but their worst match together is still better than most of the card here. Benoit sold his leg better than anyone else sold their injuries in the night with MVP targeting it thoughout the match. It was a shock that MVP beat Benoit two straight CLEAN falls but Benoit did his job in this fued & elevate MVP & give him more credibilty as a performer.
WWE Champion John Cena vs. Great Khali - Cena was put into a no win situation here by trying to have an entertaining match with a wrestler who not even a man who nobody, not even veterans like Undertaker or Kane, can make look good...to the point where his match with Undertaker was taken off SummerSlam so it could be heavily edited to be watchable on SmackDown. Cena was a spotmonkey non-stop by selling & falling to make Khali look like a monster while Khali did his usual punch/kick/repeat offense. Cena again was put into a no-win situation & made the best of it. The story here was for Cena to beat an unstoppable monster & the match served that purpose (ala Hogan vs. Bundy/Andre/Earthquake back in the 80's). Bad match but again, it was a no-win situation & Cena did win again but he was the lesser of two evils in this situation.
DVD extras include a post-match interview with Randy Orton, MVP celebrating in Teddy Long's office, and the whole story behind the CM Punk/Elijah Burke fued.
The undercard here stole the show but there wasn't much of a show to steal here & this is one event that is passable and I only recommend this for a rental at best.
Pretty much a JD pattern. .......2007-07-09
1. Carlito vs Ric Flair *** 1/4 - Their best encounter yet. Very hot opener and the crowd was into it. Carlito did a great job in there.
2. Lashley vs Team MaMahon N/A - Too short but as a segment, it's pretty entertaining.
3. CM Punk vs Elijah Burke *** 1/2 MOTN - These guys went out there and gave it all. They showcased their talent and I believe had the most time.
4. HBK vs Randy Orton N/A - Nothing happen here. They should've had Orton win though to get him more over.
5. The Hardy Boyz vs Cade & Murdoch *** 1/4 - C & M has gotten better. Very good match.
6. Edge vs Batista *** - I'm being a bit nice here. Just mediocre.
7. MVP vs Benoit *** - Not least good match. It's stupid to have a 15 minute 2/3 Falls match. The crowd were dead also. Nice counter-wrestling as usual though.
8. John Cena vs The Great Khali ** 1/4 - Khali. 'Nuff said.
Overall worth a pass of course, had a nice set of match but just mediocre.
The wrong wrestlers are being pushed and this ppv is proof.......2007-06-21
Having Ric Flair open up a ppv to me is just disrespectful. This opening match to me was better than the main event and way better than the handicap match. Also mostly clean wins, even for the heels.
Ric Flair vs. Carlito. They got a good amount time to put on a very good opener. Even at his age Flair can always get the crowd pumped. This man deserves another Heavyweight Title run in my opinion. And Carlito is sticking with ground base wrestling which is a good thing to me. The high flying style just doesn't fit him. 4/5
3 on 1 handicap match.
Mcmahons and Umaga vs. Lashley
The only reason I dont truly hate this match is because its short. Lashley is just garbage and thats all it is to it. What I hate the most is how Umaga is being used now. He went from the unstoppable, undefeated monster, with victories over Flair, Triple H, Michaels, and Kane. To a mere jobber for a newcomer and Lashley's whooping boy. It seems he cant even beat Lashley without the Mcmahons in his corner. P*sspoor match, graced with a quick ending. 2/5 and the biggest low point of the whole ppv.
CM Punk vs. Elijah Burke
A pretty decent match but I expected more from these two. It was a bit too long and seemed to drag. Even at times the crowd wasn't even in to it. 3/5
Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Orton
These two have had better. But this wasn't even a match. Randy jumped Michaels earlier. Plus Michaels was selling his concussion that he got a week ago to the fullest. The match was fast as he**. That RKO at the end was murder though. 3/5
The Hardy's vs Cade and Murdoch
Once again the Hardy's deliver but this match is kind of weak next to other matches. Cade and Murdoch in my opinion are underrated. I've enjoyed most of their tag team matches. The only thing I'm not feeling is Murdoch trying to pull off the Canadian Destroyer. Please let Petey Williams execute his own move thank you. Still a pretty solid match. 3/5
Edge vs. Batista
Why is Batista still getting title shots every ppv?! I can think of anyone who can match Edge's style in the ring and have spectacular matches. This match was mediocre at best and could have easily been on Smackdown. Nothing special here at all. 2.5/5
Chris Benoit vs. MVP 2 out of 3 falls
This match saved my life. It fell very short from their previous matches. Especially the one they had at Wrestlemania. Still it was pretty good and they blended very well together. Lots of counters and submissions were utilized. For me, this was the match of the night. 4/5
Cena vs. Khali
What the he11 is Khali doing main eventing?! My god if it wasn't for the length of this match, I don't think I could have watched this all the way through. The only high point was Cena's resourcefullness to chop down The Great Khali using the ring steps. Otherwise, nothing too special about this match either. 2.5/5.
This ppv was a step down from the last one. And this is proof the wrong guys is being pushed. Hopefully the wwe bookers step their game up.
Judgment Day 2007 Dissappoints.......2007-06-06
This years's Judgment Day Was As Disappoinitng. Even when it had all the 3 brands but still didn't live up to the ecpectations.
Ric flair def.carlito. Flair made carlito tap out after giving a figure four leg lock.
CM pank def. that black guy. Punk when after giving his finishing move.
Lashley def. mcmahons n umaga. Lashley pinned shane after giving a slam. But vince had a story to say that he didn't pin him so that he is still the ecw world champion.
Hardz def. cade n murdock. Jeff pinned murdock after giving swanton bomb.hardyz retained the world tag team championship.
Randy orton n Hbk Fought in a no contest. reason hbk collapsed after suffering an injury.
Edge Def Batista. Edge won by giving a school boy to batista and retained his world heavyweight championship.
John cena def the great khali. Cena made khali tap after giving an STFU and retained his WWE championship.
Overall An Average PPV At Best.

WM23 aftermath.......2007-08-22
This was a good follow up to WM. The matches were good for the most part. The main event was disappointment for me. In fact, it made me mad.
World Tag Team Championship Match
The Hardy's vs. Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch
Possibly the best match on the card. But really, when do the Hardy's bring their worst to a ppv? They had a dam good match with the underated Cade & Murdoch. This tag match was almost perfect. The only thing I'm not feeling is Murdoch tryin to pull of the Canadian Destroyer. He should stop. 5/5
Women's Championship Match
Melina vs. Mickie James
A boring match. These two were off tonight to me. There really wasn't anything special in this match. Thats probably the reason why Candice is getting shots before Mickie now. 2/5
United States Championship Match
Chris Benoit vs. MVP
Their Wrestlmania match was magic. This one didn't capture the magic. Still a good match. Some decent wrestling, counters, and suplexes. But just not as good as thier last encounter. 3.5/5
3 on 1 Handicapp Match for the ECW Title
Vince, Shane, & Umaga vs. Lashley
First of all, the match had its good points. Lashley basically destroying Shane. With high impact slams. Umaga got in a couple of good spots. And thats about it. What I dont like. Umaga being used as a stooge in handicapp matches. When he was just put over as the unstoppable monster. Then Vince becoming ecw champ. Is that title a joke now or what? 3/5
Last Man Standing Match for the Heavyweight Title
Undertaker vs. Batista
Undertaker is one of the very few that brings out the best in Batista. This was a real good match. Batista took a legdrop through the announce table. This match was almost over so many times. One of the best Last Man Standing Matches ever. It just should have had a clean ending, with a clear winner. 5/5
Fatal 4 way for the WWE Title
Edge vs. Randy Orton vs. Shawn Michaels vs. John Cena
This was a very good match. Everybody got they spots in this one. Except the ending was just so disappointing if your not a Cena fan. That title needs to change hands already. Still a good match even if you hate cena. 4/5
Good PPV With A Hilarious Ending!.......2007-07-14
Let's get right to it!
The Hardys Vs. Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch (World Tag Team Championship Match) - This wasn't a great tag team bout but it didn't suck either. Still, it got the crowd into the PPV as the ovation the Hardys received was akin to what rock stars get! Hardys retain the tag gold at this point.
Melina Vs. Mickie James (WWE Women's Title Match) - This wasn't the greatest women's bout BUT this is what we should've got at WrestleMania 23 instead of Ashley Vs. Melina as this match was WAY better in comparison! At least neither had to take their clothes off to get attention! True, the current champ Candice Michelle did BUT at least she worked on being a good performer too.
I digress, back to the match. These two women had a surprisingly physical bout with one funny spot of them trading punches with each other while both were doing a split! Johnny Nitro and Kenny Dysktra (the current real-life boyfriends of the respective ladies in this match) are two lucky men! Ends with Melina doing the old "Scopion Deathdrop" on Mickie to retain.
Chris Benoit Vs. MVP (WWE United States Championship) - This one is a tough one to review. The way I get through it is that Chris Benoit is a murderer but he was also one of the best ever in the ring. This match with MVP proves it as he (MVP) went toe to toe with his real life trainer (yes, MVP was actually part-trained by Benoit to wrestle in real life). Chris Benoit, like him or not, made MVP look the best he's ever looked both here and at WrestleMania 23 and started him on the run he's on now.
As for this match, Benoit actually gets in both his Crippler Crossface and his Sharpshooter but MVP either countered or got to the ropes. He even shocked the fans in Atlanta (ironically, the place that Benoit would end his life along with his wife and son) when he got Benoit to almost tap to a submission hold! Ends when Benoit caught MVP in a basic cradle to retain the U.S. title.
Bobby Lashley Vs. Mr. McMahon, Shane McMahon & Umaga (ECW Heavyweight Title Match/3 on 1 Handicap) - Easily the weakest match on the card! They were really urinating on the ECW legacy here! At least now, as I write this, they got two real wrestlers in CM Punk and Johnny Nitro going for the title!
Anyway, it ends with Vince McMahon getting the pin after Umaga devestates Lashley with two big splashes from the top rope!
The Undertaker Vs. Batista (World Heavyweight Championship/Last Man Standing) - Despite the draw ending, this match was easily the best on the card! The Undertaker beat the crap out of Batista but "The Animal", to his credit, came back to deliver some heavy punishment of his own. Ends when Batista spears UT off the entry stage through some electrical stuff that causes part of the stage to fall! Excellent bout despite the ending.
John Cena Vs. Shawn Michaels Vs. Edge Vs. Randy Orton (Fatal Fourway/WWE Title Match) - This was a wild way to end this card! All four men had their moments in this match. Most fans have decried the ending as dumb BUT I actually found it humorous! When I saw Shawn hit his superkick on Cena, I actually cheered for a moment until I realized that Cena landed on top of Randy Orton (who had been put down by Edge's spear tackle earlier) for an accidental pin! I personally busted out laughing! Not just at the ending but the reaction of the Atlanta crowd! Some were cheering but some weren't and the ones that weren't had some really funny reactions to Cena winning in this way. While not the best ending, definitely one of the funniest endings!
Overall, its worth a buy!
WWE Backlash.......2007-07-05
1) JEFF & MATT HARDY VS. LANCE CADE & TREVOR MURDOCK (WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP)
THIS MATCH WAS JUST OK. IT WAS A GOOD START TO THE PPV THOUGH. THESE MEN HAVE WAY TOO MANY MATCHES TOGETHER. 6/10
2) MELINA VS. MICKIE JAMES (WWE WOMENS CHAMPIONSHIP)
OK MATCH. THATS ABOUT IT. 5/10
3) CHRIS BENOIT VS. MVP (U.S. CHAMPIONSHIP)
R.I.P. BENOIT!!!
SOLID MATCH. I DONT GET WHY THEY WAIT TIL JUDGMENT DAY TO GIVE MVP THE TITLE. 7/10
4) BOBBY LASHLEY VS. MR. MCMAHON, SHANE MCMAHON, AND UMAGA (ECW WORLD CHAMIONSHIP)
YOUVE GOT TO BE KIDING ME. THIS IS A RIDICULOUS MATCH! ECW JUST ISNT WHAT IT USED TO BE. 7/10
5) UNDERTAKER VS. BATISTA (LAST MAN STANDING MATCH FOR THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP)
IN MY MIND THIS WAS THE MATCH OF THE NIGHT. I THOUGHT IT WAS AWESOME!
THESE MEN ARE SO EQUALLY MATCHED THAT THEY MAKE A GREAT MATCH. 10/10
6) EDGE VS. RANDY ORTON VS. SHAWN MICHAELS VS. JOHN CENA (FATAL FOUR WAY MATCH FOR THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP)
THIS WAS ANOTHER GOOD MATCH. I DONT LIKE HOW NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES CENA HAS TO DEFEND HIS TITLE HE NEVER LOSES IT!!! SOONER OR LATER HE NEEDS TO LOSE IT. THE ENDING IS PRETTY COOL THOUGH. 9/10
OVERALL THIS PPV IS PRETTY GOOD. WORTH WATCHING.
An ALMOST Perfect Follow Up To WrestleMania 23.......2007-06-26
World Tag Team Champions Hardys vs. Lance Cade & Trevor Murdock - I assume this is WWE's attempt to bring some credibility back to their tag team division because this was one of the best tag team matches of the year right behind the various matches in the Hardys/MNM series. The match had it all you would expect in a good tag team match: double team moves, suspension for a tag team partner to finally make a tag after getting beat on for minutes, mat wrestling & highspots. Good & solid match to kick off the show but the one moment to look out for is Trevor Murdock's executing TNA wrestler Petey Williams' "Canadian Destroyer".
Womens Champion Melina vs. Mickie James - This was the match we were SHOULD have gotten at WrestleMania. It went around 9 minutes but both divas here brought their A game here with Melina using her legs various time for innovative wrestling moves such as a full nelson & both girls fighting back & forth while doing the splits.
Normally I don't comment on backstage promos but you gotta check out the one here for the interaction between Edge & "Mr. Money In The Bank" Mr. Kennedy teasing about cashing in the title shot.
United States Champion Chris Benoit vs. MVP - I think MVP has a twin brother or something because it's amazing how the guy who was fueding with Kane late last year is this guy putting on these performances. Their WM match was the "sleeper" match of the show where it wasn't heavily hyped but delievered. That was the same case here as they topped their WM match earlier & the storytelling about MVP avoiding the headbutt & focusing on Benoit's neck was also very impressive. As for Benoit...he's just Benoit & you can never go wrong there. Once again, the best pure wrestling match of the night.
ECW Champion Lashley vs. Mr. McMahon, Shane McMahon, Umaga - This match was designed for Lashley to fail & it did. Lashley tossed around Shane & Umaga for a while until the odds overcame him & Mr. McMahon got the cover for the win without really doing anything in the match. This went on for over 15 mins. & it was just a waste.
Last Man Standing: World Champion Undertaker vs. Batista - A great match with both men using their power moves against each other & each one also selling their injuries (Batista's leg & Taker's arm). Eventhough the finish of the match was a draw, don't let that take away from the effort of both men in this match that was an ideal followup to their WM encounter. Look out for Taker's legdrop onto Batista though the announce table because that looked sick!
WWE Champion John Cena vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Orton vs. Edge - This four way match wasn't a big cluster like most of these type of matches are and everyone was able to leave still looking somewhat strong. Each man had a chance to get certain highlight spots in like HBK's moonsault at the beginning of the match and each man attempting their finishers in the end cancelling one or another out of the match with the story of Shawn Michaels once again having the title slip though his fingers.
DVD extras include an interviews with Mr. Kennedy & a promo by RVD about Mr. McMahon becoming ECW Champion.
Overall (with the exception of the ECW Title match), this had an overall better match quality than WrestleMania and each match was given enough time to tell a story & become something special instead of just being rushed though or becoming nothing more than a filler match. This is a PPV event that I highly recommend.
Backlash 2007 Review.......2007-06-09
Backlash 2007 was a great ppv.
The Hardyz vs Cade and Murdoch Tag Team Titles
A pretty good match. 7.5/10
Melina vs Mickie James Womens Title Match
This is one of the best womens title matches ive ever seen. 7/10
Chris Benoit vs MVP US Title Match
Good match not much to say about this. 7/10
Heres where this ppv gets very good.
Lashley vs The McMahons and Umaga Ecw Title Match
I liked this match a lot i think this is under-rated. 7.5/10
Undertaker vs Batista Last Man Standing World Heavyweight Championship
WOW! Amazing Match! 9/10
Cena vs Orton vs Edge vs HBK Four Way Fatal WWE Championship
Great match not as good as the last match but still a great match. 8.5/10
Overall Backlash is a great ppv with no bad matches but some of the matches could be better.

One of the best of the invasion era........2007-09-10
This ppv continued the invasion storyline. Plus the Austin & Angle rivalry got spiced up a bit adding RVD into the mix. It made perfect sense being the fact that, RVD got the biggest "pop" out of the entire alliance. Even bigger than Stone Cold at times. Only one filler match. Everything else was pretty much bang on.
WCW Tag Team Tittles
Hardyz w/Lita vs. Hurricane w/Molly & Lance Storm w/Ivory
These two teams bought their best. Rarely do they ever disappoint. This match had just about everything. Highy flying and fast spaced wrestling. Interference on both sides even from the women. It was just a very fun and entertaining match. Excellent opener. 5/5
Kane vs. Test
I think 00-02 was possibly Test's best run. This was when I actually liked to see him in the ring. A great big man match that never really slowed down. The ending worked out pretty good. To include a beating takes place after the match. 4/5
First Ever Lingerie Match
Torrie vs. Stacy Keibler
Do I really have to comment on this? They are hot and thats all I got to say about that. 2.5/5
IC Title Ladder Match
Christian vs. Edge
These two seemed like they were born for this. They blended perfrctly together. It had brawling, lots of weapon use, I mean there is just way too many spots to talk about. An excellent match. 5/5
WWF Tag Team Titles
Dudleyz vs. Tajiri & Big Show
I didn't think this match would be very good. But it didn't slow down the ppv at all. The crowd was into it, and it just delivered. Pretty good match. 4/5
Undertaker vs. Booker T
This match is the blueprint to all of their future matches. It wasn't really a brawl at all. There was a bit of wrestling with Taker working on Booker's arm. It really did look painful too. A good ending also, even though its been done before this match. And many times later. 4.5/5
WCW Title
Rock vs. Chris Jericho
I can't say anything bad about this match. Great entertaining with great build up. It was pure excellence from my view. Lots of cool spots. These two worked their a55es off. Stephanie even took a beatdown in this. This lived up to the hype. 5/5
WWF Title Triple Threat
Stone Cold vs. RVD vs. Kurt Angle
The build up was done great. This match as well lived up to the hype. One of the best triple threat matches for the wwf title ever. This had everything also. Brawling, high flying, weapons, interference. It was just pulled off perfect. I can't think of one bad thing about this match either. 5/5
This DVD is worth owning. It could easily be the best of the invasion angle. With only one match that shouldn't be here at all. This would be a great buy.
Solid PPV of the Invasion era, with only a few disappointments.......2007-08-14
Deep into the Invasion era, and past the initial shock and thought of WCW/ECW superstars invading the WWF, I felt there was a slag in the road, as the Unforgiven 2001 PPV was something of a disaster. But the next month held an even greater venue I soon found out.
WCW Tag Team Championship
The Hardy Boys (C) vs Lance Storm and The Hurricane
Storm and Hurricane was an odd pairing in my opinion, though they worked very well together, and this was a high impact match that had classic Hardy Boys written all over it. Very few slow points. (9/10)
Kane vs Test
Two monsters pitted against each other, you expect power wrestling and the occasional brawling. But when Test's only defining move is a big boot (which any random fit person could do) you can't expect much from him. This match wasn't as much bad as it was just boring. Test is not a great entertainer, and Kane had little to work with. (4/10)
Lingerie Match
Torrie Wilson vs Stacey Kiebler
I don't even need to comment on these sort of matches, do I? (0/10)
WWF Intercontinental Championship
Edge vs Christian (C)
For a ladder match, and for two amazing competitors like Edge and Christian, this one was surprisingly a dud. There were some entertaining high points, but most of the match was empty punches and kicks, generic wrestling moves (like catapulting someone into the ropes) and overselling the effects of ladder combat. There wasn't a minute in the match past the 10 minute mark that didn't see the two of them on their feet and in action without dropping and flopping around exhaustedly. Not their best. (6/10)
WWF Tag Team Championship
The Dudley Boyz (C) vs Tajiri and The Big Show
For me, this was one of those post-ECW moments where The Dudley Boyz prove they are one of the best tag teams in history. This match was on, and the charisma and heel heat the Dudleys generated was awesome to behold, and the team of the monster Big Show and the athlete Tajiri was potent. (8/10)
Undertaker vs Booker T
Little to look forward to here. I agree with another reviewer in saying this was just a filler match. Nothing surprised me or entertained me, it was generic wrestling at its best. (5/10)
WCW Championship
The Rock (C) vs Chris Jericho
It's these sort of matches that made the WWF the best major wrestling promotion of its time. The Rock is not a great wrestler athletically, but he is highly flexible, can do some moves, and has an electrifying charisma in and out of the ring which more than makes up for his flaws, even among his detractors. This sort of energy is painfully missing in the WWE these days with the likes of John Cena taking his place as the fan favorite. Both Jericho and The Rock were fan favorites in this one, and their bout was full of energy from the competitors and the audience. There wasn't a silent or slow moment in the entire match. (10/10)
WWF Championship
Stone Cold Steve Austin (C) vs Kurt Angle vs Rob Van Dam
With the disappointment of the previous event's main event, I wasn't expecting much better from this one. The three fused highly well with their conflicting styles, and while it wasn't as good as the WCW Championship match, it turned out a classic WWF Attitude era main event, and would be one of the last. (9/10)
All in all, this was one of the better WWF PPVs I've seen, and puts most all the current WWE PPVs to shame.
No mercy 2001 is a 4 star ppv.......2006-07-20
80-76%-perfect
75-71%-awsome
70-66%-good
65-61%-poor
60-56%-awful
1. The hardy Boyz vs. The hurrican and lance storm for the wcw tag team titles- This was a nice chocie as an opener. Both teams really put alot of effort in to this match. I would say that it was a nice fast paced hardy boyz trype of match and one that was given enough time to enjoy. WInners and stil wcw tag team champs the hardy boyz. Match Rating 7/10.
2. TEst vs. Kane- This was an okay match. I would sy that this was an aboveaverage big man match. I think that kane carried this match and i never thought test did much. Lots of near falls and lots of hard hitting action in this match. Big boot wins it for test. WInner Test MAtch Rating 7/10.
3. Torrie vs. Stacy in a lingera match- This was a horriable match. this was not a good wrestling match at all and the only two resons these women were brought in was because for looks. Saying htat i will rate this match in a half based on looks. WInenr torrie wilison. Match Rating 5/10.
4. Edge vs. Christian for the wwe itc title in a ladder match- This was tied for the match of the night. It mioght have been match of the night it was hard to decide. ANyway this was nice to see. They had had alot of ladder matches thsi year but this one took the cake. For one reason is because these two have been in so many ladder matches together they put on an awsome show with alot of high fling spots. WInner and new wwe itc champ edge. Match Rating 9/10.
5. The Dudley Boyz vs. The Big Show & Tajiri for the wwf tag team titles- This was an averag tag team match. I really could not get into this much as much as i should have. The reaosn being is that i think that the big show and tajiri did not mix well as a tag team. IT was okaty but not that good. Winners and still wwe tag team champs the dudley boyz. Match Rating 6/10.
6. Undertaker vs. Booker T- This was another up and down match. They had another one of these in 2004 at judgement dya and i wouldsay that this one was a little bit better. WHen u look at this match on paper it looks alot btter than it is. There styles mixed ok but i oculd not get into it as much as i wanted. WInner Undertaker. MAtch Rating 6.5/10.
7. The Rock vs. Chris Jericho for the wcw title- This was a god match. There series basically staeyd the same rating wise but i really liked this on.e One reason is ther match was set up beaytiful with a great storyline and great wrestling. Also lots of near falls int his match made this awsome. The othere great part about this match was we got to see them give y2J the respect he finally deserved. it was so nice for him to get a little bit of a push. Winner and new wcw champ Y2J. match Rating 8.5/10.
8. Steve Austin vs. Kurt Angle vs. Rob Van Dam for the wwe title in a triple threat match- This was another great match. They added rvd to the mix which was a great chocie. This match flowwed so good to the feud of austin and angle to the addittion of rvd it worked perfect. Great time gievn about 20 minutes. This was non stop action and even thought the no dq did not come into play that much it was still great and a nice ending invovling shane and vince. WInner and still wwe champ. Match Rating 9/10.
Well that raps up another. I would give no mercy 2001 a grade of 58/80 which is a 72% which means this is an awsome ppv. I would very much recomend this to anyone and get it right away. If u can tell me if my review was helpful or not i would appreicate that. Thanks for your time.
WWF and WCW in a WWE DVD.......2005-10-01
This DVD is so great.I'd buy it in a local store but great matches.Let's take a look at it...
WCW Tag Team Championships
The Hardy Boyz vs. Lance Storm & The Hurricane
An awesome match with some high flying moves. These two teams are great.Hardyz win with a Swanton Bomb.
Rating: 7/10
Kane vs. Test
Two big bulls collided in a one-on-one match.Lots of power moves done by these two men.Excellent match with Nick Patrick chokeslamed by Kane!Test wins with a big boot
Rating: 9/10
1st Ever Lingerie Match
Torrie Wilson vs. Stacy Keibler
Two WCW superstars will faced of in a 1st Ever Lingerie match.Wow! These two women are hot!!!.Never mind the wrestling match just mind the lingerie!Torrie wins
Rating: 9.5/10
WWF Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match
Edge vs. Christian
This match has lots of dangerous, high-flying and brutal action. Also lots of sick suddistic moves.Probably the best match of the night...I think! Also the greatest Ladder Match in the WWE!!!Edge wins
Rating: 10/10
WWF Tag Team Championships
The Dudley Boyz vs. The Big Show & Tajiri
For some reason, i didn't like this match cause it sucks.Big Show & Tajiri gave a hell of a fight but the Dudleys pick up the victory
Rating: 5.5/10
Undertaker vs. Booker T
One man from WWF and one man from WCW.An average match with some action and an amateur like wrestling match. But it is still brilliant.Undertaker wins with a Last Ride.
Rating: 6/10
WCW Championship
The Rock vs. Chris Jericho
Are you ready for the main event..well let's start it in the WCW Championship. These two men gave a hell of a fight and The Rock is
entertaining peoples.Jericho finally defeated The Rock with a chair shot.DAMN you Jericho!
Rating: 8.5/10
WWF Championship Triple Threat No DQ Match
Steve Austin vs. Kurt Angle vs. Rob Van Dam
One men from WWF, one man from WCW and one man from ECW, this match is great! They all do their signature moves and Vince kick's ass of Shane O' Mac.Austin wins with a sick stunner on RVD.
Rating: 9.5/10
Yet the best match of the night wasn't the main event, the ladder match is the best match of the night.Better than to remove the WWF Tag Team Championship match coz it sucks.2nd best PPV of 2001 after WrestleMania followed by No Way Out.
Buy this DVD worth of money
Finally Y2J has come to No Mercy to layeth the Smackdown on the great one!.......2005-08-17
This dvd is great. The matches were fantastic especially the wcw title match between Y2J and the Rock. The first match was the Hardy's vs Lance Storm and The Hurricane for the wcw tag tam titles. It was a great match to start the ppv with the Hardy's winning. The second match was Kane vs Test. This was a battle between two big studs with Test cheating to win.The third match was Torrie Wilson vs Stacy Keibler in a lingerie match.Torrie won which was good enough! The fourth match was Edge vs Christian in a ladder match for the IC title.Edge and Christian tore down the house with Edge winning after hitting Christian with a chair on the top of the ladder. The fifth match was The Dudley's vs The Big Show and Tagiri for the wwf tag team titles. The Dudleys won after Rhyno came out and gored the Big Show. The sixth match was The UnderTaker vs BookerT.The Undertaker won fair and square with the last ride. The seventh match was Y2J vs The Rock for the wcw title. The Rock was winning pretty much until Stephanie trying to cost Y2J actually cost The Rock causing the Rock to lose the wcw title. The eigth match was Stone Cold vs Kurt Angle vs Rvd for the wwf title.Austin won when he pinned RVD.

Better than the last "Bad Blood" event........2007-09-11
WWE Bad Blood 2004 will go down as one of the best in 2004 but in order for you to appreciate that statement you would have need to see the event when it happened in 2004 or see the other events of that year.
In the first of his two matches of the night, World Heavyweight Champion Chris Benoit teams with Edge to challenge La Resistance for the World Tag Team Championship. This one was not bad but it was just there for the taking with Kane's interference being expected since he and Benoit were to face off for the title later on...
Chris Jericho is given a dishonor for his career by facing newcomer Tyson Tomko. The match is decent and fortelling but Jericho should be a main eventer not jobbing useless talent although Tomko was not bad here.
After cutting a funny promo, Intercontinental Champion Randy Orton has the first truly exciting match of the night against Shelton Benjamin. The highlight of this match was really Benjamin. He was explosive and show great skills throughout the match. The best part was when he put the figure-four leglock on Ric Flair and was pinning Orton at the same time,WOW.
The Women's Championship was on the line next in a Fatal Fourway match between Victoria, Trish Stratus, Lita and Gail Kim. This was when the womens division was worth watching so not a surprise to have a good match.
To me, the real stinker of this event is the match between Eugene and Jonathon Coachman. The crowd was into this one and did have some funny segments but other than that, nothing great..
In his second and last match of the night, World Heavyweight Champion Chris Benoit defends his title against Kane in the most intense battle of the night. Kane uses his power moves to punish Benoit but Benoit uses aggressive wrestling holds and vicious chops to combat the monster. Great match.
The main event is a very, long Hell in a Cell battle between former DX members Triple H and Shawn Michaels. I will not go on to record and say that this is the best HIAC match but it was a great one to see to end one of the best fueds in the WWE.
WWE Bad Blood 2004.......2007-06-03
This was really a cool dvd to have. I like to watch the Bad Blood Series.
I collect as many WWE dvds as I can. Actually, I watch them all too.
The Main Events Make This Event Worth It.......2007-04-04
This was a PPV back when WWE was still riding the wave of WrestleMania XX with Chris Benoit as champion and the Triple H/HBK fued as the top fued on RAW. RAW was really on a roll & superior to their SmackDown counterparts at this time.
1. World Tag Team Championship Match: La Resistance (c) vs. Chris Benoit & Edge - This was the rematch from two weeks earlier on RAW and was actually a decent opener as La Resistance were the best tag team at this time & weren't reduced to glorified jobbers. In the end, this match was just here to get more heat on Benoit's World Title match later in the night but this is still a good opener.
2. Chris Jericho vs. Tyson Tomko - Jericho carried Tomko to his best match in his whole WWE career as he made Tomko actually decent here.
3. Intercontinental Championship Match: Randy Orton (c) vs. Shelton Benjamin - This was back when Shelton Benjamin was just switched to RAW on a roll from beating Triple H & everyone else in Evolution while Orton was still in his prime as the Intercontinental Champion. Both men's inring work was top notch and eventhough it gets slow at time, it's still a great match that you probably wouldn't see today from these two.
4. Fatal Four Way Match for the Women's Championship: Victoria vs. Gail Kim vs. Lita vs. Trish Stratus - This was just a big cluster for the most part as there really wasn't a time where each woman was allowed to outshine the other. Trish wins the title back here but this is one of the last matches featuring the "women who can wrestle" mentality that WWE had at the time went out the window.
5. Eugene vs. Jonathan Coachman - This was back when the crowd actually cared about Eugene and Coach was put here to make this match somewhat comedic but it's just bad.
6. World Heavyweight Championship: Chris Benoit (c) vs. Kane - This was without a doubt one of Kane's best matches in his career while one of Benoit's best title defences. They meshed well together here & put on a better performance than anyone could or should expect. Plus it told a good inring story of how Benoit just could not get the crossface on Kane no matter how many times he tried. I wish they would go on to fued more after this match but it just wasn't ment to be.
7. Hell in a Cell Match: Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H - These two go over 45 minutes to give everyone a classic Hell In The Cell match that doesn't depend on someone going outside the cell, falling off the cage, or beating each other down with weapons the whole time to make it memorable. This was just those two beating each other down so badly that even you as the viewer is exausted at the end of it and would surely end up in any best of Triple H or HBK DVD set.
In the end, this was one of the best offerings from WWE around this time period & I highly recommend for anyone just based off the main events alone.

Description
On the bleak, storm-tossed southern tip of South America, a lonely lighthouse guards the world's most treacherous--and lucrative--shipping lane. But beyond the forces of nature, the lighthouse keepers must face an even more formidable foe, and soon the turbulent waters become the bloody battleground of two men who fight for control of the cruel Cape Horn and for the pleasures of a helpless, shipwrecked beauty. Kirk Douglas is Denton, the iron-willed lighthouse keeper who confronts the murderous pirate captain Kongre, played with delicious malevolence by Yul Brynner in one of his favorite roles. Samantha Eggar is Arabella, an English noblewoman imperiled by her beauty, desired by both men. The only hope to save the seas and their many travelers flickers in a single dim beacon, known to sailors as "The Light at the Edge of the World."

A Haunting and Memorable Film You Won't Forget - Even at the Edge of the World.......2007-08-29
The "Light at the Edge of the World" is a haunting film which plums the darker and heroic sides of human nature. Set on a desolate island which has a lighthouse, the lonely serenity of those who work there is shattered when a pirate ship arrives. The movie presents evil personified in the character of the pirate captain marvelously performed by Yul Brynner. "Little chattering man " - a line delivered by Brynner - sends chills each time I watch the movie. What a remarkable moment of acting. Counter posing the pirates is Kirk Douglas, the assistant lighthouse keeper, who struggles with staying alive while dealing with a haunted past which has brought him to this lonely confrontation, literally at the edge of the world. This is a marvelous movie, which works at so many emotional and ethical levels - evil, honor, friendship, love, betrayal, isolation, and the struggle between two men which fate has put together are all played out beneath the beams of the lighthouse casting its weak light into the symbolic darkness which permeates this original and deftly directed film. If you want a movie that will challenge you to think and force you to feel, this hauntingly beautiful, and yet terrifying film, is a must. I think it a remarkable film and recommend it for adults. You won't forget it, and you will watch it again. Oh, the musical score is marvelous and sets the many moods of the film perfectly.
Good Action!.......2007-02-21
I rate this dvd with four stars basically because it has no subtitles,no theatrical trailer, no bonus. But apart from that, the movie itself is full of action, adventure and the scenery is beautiful.
I had childhood nightmares for years afterwards...........2005-05-18
I somehow got dropped off at the theatre in 1971 as a 9 year old boy and saw this film, which gave me really vivid nightmares for years afterwards. Somday I'll see it again as a 40-something for therapy. That fat bald giant trying to kill that cute little monkey was too much. Parents beware!
A high seas adventure that needs more attention.UNDERRATED!!.......2004-08-16
I loved this movie as a kid.And still like it today.Although i do agree with a previous reviewer that it might not be suitable for kids. But i think a lot of adults who like an adventure with a great setting and excellent acting by the likes of Yul Brynner, Kirk Douglas, and Samantha Eggar will love this DVD.Its A little pricy but it does contain a fairly decent transfer to DVD with no apparent age defects, blemishes etc.And has quite a clear crisp picture on DVD.However there are no sepcial features. But highly entertaining and colourful nonetheless. With great performances.A worthwhile view, and for fans of Yul and Kirk.A gem for your DVD collection. Cheers!
Not for the kids!.......2002-05-18
The movie stars Kirk Douglas and is based on a book by Jules Verne, but parents expecting another 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA will be in for a surprise. It is very violent and includes things like torture and a gang-rape that are totally inappropriate for kids. Adults will find a well-acted but slow moving adventure story. The scenery is beautiful but the movie has a low budget look and feel. And the DVD has no bonus features, not even the theatrical trailer. Pricey for a DVD with no bells and whistles.

Pretty good card.......2007-09-08
This ppv had alot of hype going into it. Some decent storylines from both Raw and Smackdown. Some carried over into the next year all the way to the Royal Rumble.
Fatal Four Way Cruiserweight Champoinship
Spike Dudley vs. Billy Kidman vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo Guerrero
This is Survivor Series isn't it? Then why is this a fatal four way and not elimination? That alone took away so much from this match for me. It was still good. Lots of action and some pretty good spots. Everyone got to shine. 3/5
IC Title
Shelton Benjamin vs. Christian
These two really meshed well together. Its no surprise being that both men are very talented athletes. Shelton countered alot moves and Christian got the crowd into it. He had a lot of cheers even as a heel. That should explain how good Christan really was in wwe. A little interference here and there but it never hurt the match. 4/5
Classic Survivor Series Match
Eddie Guerrero, RVD, Big Show, & John Cena vs. Kurt Angle, Carlito, Luther Reigns, & Mark Jindrak
A pretty decent match with a mediocre storyline coming in. Cena was set for revenge on Carlito. Carlito took off and Cena chased him to the back with some brawling going on. The actual match was pretty good even though it eventually became a squash. Some good wrestling and a bit of cheating taking place from both teams. 4/5
Undertaker vs. Heidenreich
A pretty good storyline followed up by a good match. Undertaker carried this match alot but Heidenreich never looked horrible to me. A good big man match but nothing above average. It never really seemed like Taker would lose. A pretty good finish also. 3.5/5
WWE Womens Championship
Trish vs. Lita
This had a weird storyline coming in also. Trish also made fun of Lita in the ring. The match turned into a fight that resulted in a DQ. Lita busts up Trish's nose and all, but this kind of stuff should be saved for Raw and not a ppv. 2.5/5
WWE Championship Match
JBL vs. Booker T
This match started out pretty slow but eventually got better and lived up to its own hype. There was a lot of interference from Orlando Jordan. Booker T later cleaned house and beat the he11 out of both JBL and Jordan. Some good spots. Pretty good entertainment. 4/5
Main Event
Classic Survivor Series Match
Randy Orton, Chris Benoit, Maven, & Chris Jericho vs. Triple H, Snitsky, Edge & Batista
The best was saved for last. Best match with the best storyline. The stipulation was the winning team gets to run RAW for the next few weeks. This storyline made the next few weeks very interesting with some memorable matches and segments.
This match had just about everything. Some very good wrestling took place. A couple of strong moves. Real good offense. And Maven took the sickest chair shot possibly for that year! The suspense was kind of high but I just knew who was going to win. The events of this match lead to some pretty good matches and was later overshadowed by the Elimination Chamber Match about 2 months later. 5/5
2004 was a pretty good year to me for wwe. This ppv is worth seeing. Its far better than a majority of the crap wwe is putting out now.

Survivor Series 04.......2006-02-28
I was a little dissipointed with this PPV, i had hi expectations it was great though i was looking for PPV of the year but wast The card was over hyped.
Match of the Night:
HHH, Batsita, Snitsky, and Edge vs Orton, Benoit, Maven , and Jericho
This match was the best of the night, it was more like a handicap match. I like Randy Orton especially at this time he should have had a longer title reign. This was a great follow up to last years epic, which was better. RAW can put on classic SS matches. The wrestlers in this match were not great choices, Snitsky, at the time, was getting a big push and fell very very short of expectations. Maven was crap is crap and always be crap. The action in this match was nonstop and delivered i wish i knew what ended up happening over the next month on Raw? Overall the best on the card. 9.5/10
Worst Matches on the Card:
Womens Title
Trish vs Lita
Nuff said this was pointless and stupid it was like 2 mins long. Trosh is a wrestler, Lita is not. 2.5/10
CW Title
Spike Chavo Kidman Mysterio
Im a rey fan and like kidman and chavo but spike sux. he is one of the worst wrestlers ever and it shows. should have been Rey and the other 2 in a 3 way for the title not that idiot Spike glad hes gone. Some people liked it, but i heavily disreguard this as a good match. 6/10
Sleepers
WWE Title
JBL vs Booker T
this match supprised me! it was very entertaining and fun to watch. JBL was on top of his game and Booker is begining to flaw now, but hes still go a lot left and hes like 40! Fast paced and nonstop. 8.5/10
Taker vs Heidenreich
UGGGG heidenreich sux but this was his only good fued. This was better than RR 05 bcuz it wus unexpected. Hardhitting and SOLID
8/10
The others
SD Classic SS match (8.75/10) and IC title benjamin v Chiritian Cage (8/10) were great
I reccomend this to a recen fan who likes fast pace hardcore Werstling

Very Worthwhile.......2000-12-18
My husband and I watch these videos a couple times a month. Despite the fact that we've both read many books on quantum physics, space, astrology, etc., we still find these very informative if for no other reason than to remind us about some of those stunning details we all forget about our vast universe. My personal favorite is the Black Hole video since they do a wonderful job explaining how gravity wins, etc. It's a great set for children who are beginning to get the concepts of our great expanse. We look forward to sharing these with our children when they're a bit older to understand. Truly a wonderful series.
