Customer Reviews:
Crappy horror movie; great comedy.......2007-05-29
Where to start...the acting is horrible, I found myself watching the actor's lips as they spoke, just to see if the audio was dubbed; I don't think it was. A majority of the mexican actors sounded like and had the emotion level of "Jose Jalapeno (... on a steeek!)" from ventriloquist Jeff Dunham. If you're lost by that analogy, rent Jeff Dunham: Argueing with Myself; if you like stand-up comedy, you won't be disappointed. As for this movie, the shark scenes were horrible overlays of common shark footage. I also never knew shark's growled rather like dogs or large cats such as tigers. I took the time to copy the displayed subtitles and copy the actual wording of the world's greatest pickup line in this movie as well...
subtitles:
girl: I'm exhausted.
guy: Yeah, me too. But I'm really wired. Shall I take you home and eat your p@ssy?
actual:
girl: I'm exhausted.
guy: Yeah, me too. But, ya know, I'm really wired. What'dya say I take ya home and eat your p@ssy?
Overall the movie isn't that great, but if you can rent it cheap or something; the overall experience is so cheap and pathetic it's worth it to laugh at.
terror has surfaced and it can't swim.......2007-02-16
funniest movie i've ever seen i fell out of my seat at some of the death scenes this deserves an award i laughed so hard i started to sweat you have to have bad taste not to love this movie
Captain Jack Takes on the Dinosaurs.......2007-02-09
I will admit to viewing this movie solely for the purpose of seeing John Barrowman. As a fan of his most recent works in Doctor Who and Torchwood, I knew going into this movie on what to expect.
All of the negative reviews for this movie are exactly true, it's class A cheese, the scientific facts are dubious at best, the shark is more laughable than anything scary and the green screen work is pure hilarity.
But come on, you don't watch a movie like this for it's cinematic aspect, you watch it because of how bad it is. I haven't laughed so hard during a movie then when I did in watching this. So, 4 stars on keeping me entertained and here's to every really cheesy B movie out there!
great meg movie!.......2006-10-01
This is a movie to die for.The 20 foot baby megalodon was great, but even better the gigantic 85 foot mama!real cool.If you like movies about a prehistoric shark nearly 90 feet long then this a movie for you.
"Die, GD it, die! Die!".......2006-08-04
Thus, with the quote from the film above, goes the movie Shark Attack 3. All of the negative feedback about this film is true. Rather than go on about what has been stated well already, though, here are what I believe are the most memorable lines that make this film uber cliched:
"You're extinct, F-er!"
"My lawyers will have a field day with you. THEY are the real sharks."
"I'm really wired. So why don't I take you home and eat your _____."
(after destroying the megalodon) "Mega-la-who?" (laughter) "Hey, where are the cocktails?"
This is the kind of dialogue you can expect from the film. These are the highlights. Of course, I am not pointing out all the excellent grunting and 'roaring" that the sharks expel, but I don't want to give everything away. Well, one more thing: audiences find out that boats are commonplace within a prehistoric shark's diet.
Why would you, dear viewer, want to watch this?

BIG FISH.......2007-05-24
AFTER WATCHING IT, I REALY WASTED MY TIME FOR THE MOVIE AND THE FISH WAS VERY DISSAPOINTING. VERY LITTLE ACTION AND THE MOVIE MUST HAVE BEEN DONE WITH A VERY SMALL BUDGET AS IT HAD A CAST OF ONLY EIGHT OR NINE PEOPLE FOR THE ENTIRE MOVIE, VERY LOW BUDGET FILM AND IT SHOWS.
go in with low expectations.......2007-05-23
I didn't expect much out of this movie but a giant prehistoric shark, and I wasn't overly disappointed. Some of the scenes with the glass elevator and mini subs looked very fake, not sure if cgi or what. The plot line was decent as long as you maintain low expectations. Character development was rather non-existant, but most everyone usually dies in these types of movies, so no biggie. Some of the scenes, especially all with the glass elevator, did require a hefty overlook as they were highly unlikely and unpractical. An excellent job was done on the bioluminescent creatures and surrounding area of the opened hole, as well as a fairly decent job of creating a giant prehistoric shark. Definately at least worth renting for the fans of shark movies.
So far, the best shark movie I've seen.......2006-12-26
To clarify - I'vce said before that each start represented a 1-20% section of 100%. In the case of this movie, it gets the full 20% for the third star, meaning it gets 60% in total, or 6 out of 10, which is the highest score I've given a shark movie*
To be honest the demise for the shark was something I didn't see comming... in fact not only did my first theory on how the shark would meet its end prove false, the second did as well... and the shark died before I could come up with a third theory on how it would meet its end. The 'twist ending' (well, we all know there seems to be some kind of movie law making twist endings madatory) was possibly the clearest 'through the water' shot I've seen in a movie.
Another upside is that it had only one thing that's even close to a 'Jaws' reference. It's a good thing since 'Jaws' references are overused in this kind of movie, expeccially in 'Tentacles' where they basically remade 'Jaws'
By comparing the events of the movie to the cast list, I've noticed that a couple of characters dissappeared partway through the movie, but what the heck, nothing's perfect, and as you may have guessed from my rating and first comment, I don't have high standards for shark movies in general. Anyway, maybe the novel explains what happened to them.
* - and for those wondering "haven't you seen 'Jaws' yet", I would give 'Jaws' 3/10 IF I decided to achknowledge that it has potential I just don't see, (in other words, giving 'Jaws' 3 out of 10 would be more positive and non-biased than most people can be bothered to be)

Customer Reviews:
Entertaining and Educational!.......2007-06-04
Chased by Sea Monsters is actually three separate documentaries, which bring to life the most frightening and dangerous sea creatures of all time.
The amount of effort and research put into this project, along with the fantastic computer graphics, help transport the viewer to another time allowing one to lay eyes on creatures that have been extinct for millions of years.
Shot on location at sea, zoologist Nigel Marvel does a great job of presenting the actual setting for these magnificent and terrifying creatures, which are very well and very accurately portrayed.
The re-enactment throughout the documentaries added a nice touch and one really does get the feeling that they are there, in Hell's Aquarium....
Strongly recommended along with the Walking with Dinosaurs, Walking with Beasts and Walking with Cavemen series. 5 Stars
Very good for children.......2007-03-08
Movie covers a few creatures from seven different periods. Moves quick enough to keep a childs attention.Be aware that there are 2 or 3 times that one creature eats another so watch out for really young ones!!.Great attention paid to detail...You actually could beleive that he was there!!!

Oil...the quest for it is unrelenting. The search for new reserves of the 'black gold' never-ends and leading the search is Nexecon Petroleum and its flagship-the largest drilling and refining platform ever constructed-'Colossus" located in the freezing NortMegalodonh Atlantic waters off the coast of Greenland. 'Colossus' will drill deeper than any rig ever has, a fact that gratifies Nexecon CEO, Peter Brazier, but that has geologists the world over up in arms, concerned that delicate ocean floor fault lines could be disturbed with catastrophic effects. Skeptical news reporter Christen Giddings and her cameraman Jake Thompson are invited by Braziera to document the safety of 'Colossus.' The powerful drill tears through the seabed, striking a rich oil deposit. As the drill penetrates further, it ruptures a fissure that reveals a second 'mirror' ocean that has existed beneath ours for millions of years. An ocean teeming with prehistoric life. As the choking oil posions the water, the frenzied creatures swarm for the surface. Colossus buckles under the onslaught. Brazier, Christen, and a team of engineers descend in Colossus' glass elevator to assess the damage and come face to face with the most powerful oceanic predator that ever lived. Carcharodon Megalodon. The giant ancestor of the Great White Shark. This eleven-ton 'killing machine' quickly stakes its territory in the waters surrounding Colossus with disasterous and horrific consequences, destroying and devouring anything in its path. Now fate will pull them together as they wager their changes of survival against the most fearsome creature that ever dominated the ocean, and pit the technology and machinery of man against beast. Megalodon...sixty feet of prehistoric terror.

Very Intense.......2007-05-22
I had no idea how it was going to end. I thought it was going to be a shark movie were it doesn't turn out happy, it was a kind of happy, kind of sad ending, but it was more happy than sad. the movie had some surprises, but out of the whole movie the ending was the most intense.
