The Adventures of Spin and Marty premiered on The Mickey Mouse Club in 1955 and scored an instant hit. Like many of Disney's most successful creations, Spin and Marty was a simple story. Rich, coddled Martin Markham (David Stollery) arrives at the Triple R in his grandmother's limousine and dismisses the dude ranch for boys as "a dirty old farm." His comment angers everyone, especially Spin Evans (Tim Considine), the most popular boy on the ranch. Over the course of the summer, Marty learns to relax and make friends; he and Spin become best buddies. Humor and wisdom are dispensed by wrangler Ollie (Leonard P. Greer), "Well I'll be a blue-nosed gopher!"; Marty's fussy butler, Perkins (J. Pat O'Malley); avuncular foreman Bill Burnett (Harry Carey, Jr.); and George (Sammee Tong), the Chinese cook, who regales the boys with Western songs in Cantonese. The characters proved so popular Disney brought them back in The Further Adventures of Spin and Marty (1957) and The New Adventures of Spin and Marty (1957).
For Baby Boomers, Spin and Marty packs the kind of nostalgic wallop the "Andy Hardy" movies and The Wizard of Oz had for earlier generations. During the '50s, millions of kids dreamed of spending the summer at the Triple R. In More Tales of the City, Armistead Maupin suggests that whether you identify with Spin or Marty constitutes a key division in American society, comparable to who your favorite Beatle was. In the extras, a dismayingly old Considine and Stollery revisit the ranch in Newhall, CA, where the series was filmed. This set is a sure-fire gift choice for aging Boomers. (Unrated, suitable for all ages: minor violence) --Charles Solomon
Description
"Yipp-i, yipp-a, yippi-o!" THE ADVENTURES OF SPIN AND MARTY was an overwhelmingly popular series within THE MICKEY MOUSE CLUB. Featured here is the entire first season (1955) about freckle-faced Spin and wealthy city kid Marty at the Triple R Ranch summer camp. Adding to the fun are exclusive interviews with the original cast members and a special tour of the original filming site. And, presented for the first time ever, is Tim Considine's screen test for the role of Marty -- the character he persuaded the producers not to cast him in. So saddle up and enjoy all the stories -- the ones you know and the ones you don't.

Spin and Marty Forever.......2007-09-04
I always loved Spin and Marty, I thought it was the best part of the Mickey Mouse Club. My grandchildren now watch and love Spin and Marty as well as the Original Mickey Mouse Club. My 6 year old grandson asked where the color was and I explained that back then they didn't have color t.v. he said "OK" and that was that, he looks forward to watching Spin and Marty, color or not. I must say, it still holds the same excitement for me as it did when I was a kid.
perfect summertime show.......2007-08-25
This was a fun adventure at the Triple R. Had a great time watching this series including the Mickey Mouse club at the beginning which had the Introduction episode and a Mousekartoon. As you know this is what I call good TV unlike today. Perfect for the whole family since it has adventure, comedy, and even a little education on horses. Therefore this DVD is definitly worth buying. I am hoping that Disney releases The Further Adventures of Spin and Marty and The New Adventures of Spin and Marty.
DISNEY COMMERCIALSIM.......2007-08-11
I won't go into the myriad existing reviews of this serial. The Disney Co., knows their babyboomers, their kids and their children's children and they release their feature films--live and animated and now series for short periods of times and pull them from circulation for the next generation. Some contain no extras, and others a few. "Disney Treasures" do come with COA's, nice but not very informative booklets and some extra features and they all cost more than a regular DVD.
It's nice to see the happy neighborhoods of yesteryear, the crewcut boys with dollops of "greasy kid stuff" in their hair and a clean, boy's dude ranch among others things. Buyer beware. The "Treasures" come in flimsy and easy to dent metal boxes and everything the company has to offer for the price is strictly for the collector or those who trip on their feet during the good old innocent days. Most of the films (not all of them) have great sound and transfers and some are shoddy.
It's all part of the ingenious marketing of a large corporation to entice the above mentioned people. I'm not complaining, I just think nostalgia should be better priced than the Disney offerings.
Spoiled rich kid comes to Tripple R.......2007-06-23
Martin Markum is a spoiled rich kid who comes to the Tripple R ranch. He is trouble right from the start. He calls the tripple R a Dirty old farm. When the the other boys play a joke on Marty by putting a frog in his bunk, Knowing that it was Spin's Idea-Marty wants to knock his block off. There's a boxing match between Spin & Marty. Yep-that's how they do things at the tripple R-whenever two kids wants to fight-a boxing match is formed. Marty puts up a real good fight-the match is declared a draw.
Bill Burnett(Harry Carrey, JR)is the ranch counseler in charge of straightening out Marty. His Job won't be easy because Marty is stubborn. Marty gets himself into a jam when he tells the other boys that he plays polo. Before that he tells Burnett that he's never been on a horse before. As Mr Burnett points out "For someone who's never been on a horse, you sure picked yourself a hobby"
Early on Marty makes friends with Ambition & Freddie. Marty also meets skyrocket-a horse. A special bond is formed between skyrocket and Marty. In time Marty becomes friends with more of the boys and becomes easier to get along with. However, when the truth comes out that Marty never played Polo-he tries to run away-but he decides to go back to the ranch.
Spread out over 25 10 min episodes, this serial aired as part of the Mickey Mouse club in the mid 50's. It's nice having the entire serial on DVD. The story culimates with the Big rodeo between Tripple R and Northfork. Spin and Marty become freinds. Marty will never be the same again.
This is fun to watch. Boys were allowed to be boys. There's some funny moments-besides the frog incident, there a scene where Ambition and Freddie "Fixed" Marty's jeans! Then there's the Live ghost trick that Marty and ambition played on Spin & two others.
This is clean wholesome fun from Disney.
fantastic nostalgia.......2007-05-13
I havent seen Spin & Marty since it first aired on TV in Australia back in the late 50's-60's and was over the moon to find this on DVD. As a young girl crazy about horses I wished I was able to go to that ranch to ride the horses, and so each afternoon after school I would get lost in the adventures that Spin & Marty had. Only now after watching it as an adult do you realise that there was underlying messages such as teamwork, co-operation, and importantly, tolerance of others.
The reproduction is quite good considering it is 50 years old.
I highly recommend any fan of the early Mickey Mouse Club series to have this in their collection and I can only hope they release the other two series.

A Great Compilation Of A Great Show.......2007-05-18
"Spin City" remains one of my all-time favorite shows. The cast was fantastic and the writing was excellent. This DVD is a collection of episodes handpicked by Michael J Fox and feature introductions by the star himself.
The collection features several memorable moments and guest stars like Woody Harrelson and Meredith Baxter.
This is a great collection of episodes that any "Spin City" fan should love.
Fantastic! But More Please!.......2006-03-27
I bought these dvds a few years ago and they are great!I am a huge fan of Spin City and would gladly buy all seasons if they were released. Please consider releasing all the seasons.Thank You
Spin City - Michael J. Fox Vol 1.......2006-03-01
I enjoyed watching Spin City. Michael Fox speaking before each episode and giving a little inside information about the episode was nice. I had a little problem with one episode it froze on part of the section but that was the only problem I encountered.
Give us all the episodes, not just a few!.......2005-12-14
Spin City is one of the greatest TV shows ever, and I would love to have all the episodes, not just a selected few!! This is ridiculous, I have the money, and I am willing to spend it!! But they don't want my money!! Is this stupid or what? And then they scream law and order, when people start downloading the show from the internet for free.. they leave us no choice. I just don't get it..
What a Bunch Of Goons!!! Who produced these 2 DVDS........2005-11-12
I will keep this short, Spin City is one of the funniest shows ever produced. Go to this website if you want all the Seasons of it, [...].

From the producer of "Anne of Green Gables":
"Family programming filled with warmth and charm...." - LOS ANGELES TIMES
This 4-Disc DVD Boxset is the complete third season of "Road to Avonlea" / "Avonlea" (as shown on the Disney channel). Olivia's (Mag Ruffman) simple wedding plans get out of hand as Hetty (Jackie Burroughs) takes over and manages to alienate everyone in the family including Sara (Sarah Polley). Felix's (Zachary Bennett) humorous attempt at making money turns tragic as his horse, Blackie, dies in an accident. Avonlea hires an effervescent and charming new schoolteacher (Christopher Lloyd), whose unorthodox approach to teaching, inspires the children, but leaves the parents suspicious. Sara trades places with Jo Pitts, a street-smart waif who passes as Sara's double. However, as Sara leaves PEI for adventure, she only finds danger and mystery alongside Gus Pike (Michael Mahonen); while Felicity (Gema Zamprogna) lies about her family background in order to gain admission into a prestigious ladies college. On a sad note, this volume ends with the death of one of Avonlea's most beloved townsfolk, Marilla Cuthbert (Colleen Dewhurst); tying this episode into "Anne of Green Gables - The Sequel" and "Anne of Green Gables - The Continuing Story."

ROAD TO AVONLEA THE 3 SEASON.......2007-05-15
GREAT MOVIE YOU JUST WANT TO CONTINUE SEE THE SERIE
Charming........2007-04-06
Charming children and adults get into fun predicaments. If you liked "Little House on the Prairie" or "Anne of Green Gables"; you should like this. Seasons 1-6 are excellent.
Beautiful scenery, farm, horses, period costumes, with women in pretty dresses, period sets, realistic characters, likeable characters, lively pace, and inviting activities, take you to a nicer place.
Christopher Reeve, from the movie "Superman", guest-stars in a melodrama, mysterious but lively episode "A Dark and Stormy Night" (Writer-Hart Hanson). Another good episode is where Sarah and Felicity babysit their little nephew who is a little terror; the "Friends & Relations" episode. Usually an episode is able to focus on just a few of the characters with depth; but in this unique episode, many of the characters interact, at a lively pace. Very creative that the writer (Heather Conkie) was able to involve everyone with depth (and I wonder if it was planned or just happened with the plot). The episode "Vows of Silence" has a scene that is very funny, and another quietly funny/charming scene (Writer-Hart Hanson).
Disney spared no expense to create warm and humorous escapades.
This series has been my best money value; dividing the 13-episodes by the cost: $51÷13 episodes = $3.92 per 46-minute episode. Sells new in Canada for $80.
great season for a great show!.......2004-05-05
Road to Avonlea is my all-time favourite television show, and I'm so pleased that it's becoming available on DVD. Season 3 is an excellent season, and in my opinion, one of the best. There is great character development as the children (especially Felicity) begin to grow up. We also get to see another side of Aunt Janet (other than as Alec's wife), as well as more episodes with Gus Pike. The focus is becoming less on Sara Stanley (although she is still a main character) and more on the rest of the King family.
My only complaint with this DVD is the lack of bonus features. I hope the next RtA DVD includes features such as cast interviews, behind-the-scenes, and bonus footage.
episodes on this DVD (I put a * next to my favourites):
*The Ties that Bind - Olivia and Jasper's wedding! very funny, and very touching
Felix and Blackie - Felix starts a delivery service with his horse, Blackie.
*Another Point of View - Aunt Hetty resigns from teaching Avonlea School, and she is replaced by Professor Dimple, who introduces the students to modern ways of learning.
When she was bad...she was horrid (2 parts) - Sara gets fed up with Aunt Hetty controlling her life, so she runs away and leaves a double (Jo Pitts) in her place.
Aunt Janet Rebels - Aunt Janet campaigns for women's rights to vote.
A Dark and Stormy Night - Gus gets a job at the White Sands hotel and falls for a mysterious guest.
*Friends and Relations - the ladies are off to an auction while the men go ice fishing. Sara and Felicity must mind their mischievous cousin "Lucky".
Vows of Silence - Felicity "borrows" her mother's valuable family heirloom and loses it. She is afraid to confess the truth until she fears it will be too late.
After the Honeymoon - Jasper entertains a (female) scientist Sidney Carver, who is researching bats. Olivia tries to support Jasper, even though she finds the work horrifying.
*The Calamitous Courting of Hetty King - Aunt Hetty is wooed by a dynamic skate salesman, Wally Higgins.
*High Society - Felicity is offered a chance at a scholarship at the prestigious Kingsport Ladies College.
Old Friends, Old Wounds - The town loses a beloved citizen.

Spin City - Michael J. Fox Vol 2.......2006-03-01
It was great to watch Spin City. Michael J Fox speak before each eposide and that was enjoyable.
Spin City minus Michael Fox"s Comments.......2005-09-12
I enjoyed the shows on the dvd. I did not like having to hear Michael Fox's commentary on each episode. Also, I would like to have the entire first season and let me choose my favorites.
Why deprive us from the rest of the show ?.......2005-07-14
I can only agree with S.Williams from Chicago. I mean, after watching each episode of every season featuring Michael J. Fox on french TV (in english, the french dubbed version sucks), then watching the rerun, how frustrated I was to see they only issued some kind of "best of". How can there be a best of when every episode was so good, so funny, so hilarating ? I did buy every boxset of the Seinfeld series, and I love to watch every episode one after another, in chronological order. But believe me, I will NOT spend my money on these 2 volumes, even when they were chosen by Fox himself. I'm only sorry he got dragged into this. I mean, how could these TV managers decide what episodes I should buy and watch again and again ? Hey guys, I'm way over 13, I earn my own money, please let me spend it like I please ! And give us boxsets with EVERY episode of every season. This I will buy. Not any pre-chosen crap. Putting this on the market instead of what I want is disrespect. Shame on you people !
Rene
Where's the rest of it???.......2005-01-23
Loved the show, both when it originally aired and in re-runs. I just wish they'd put out the complete seasons like most other shows are doing. I'd like to pick my own favorites as opposed to relying on Michael J. Fox's. I don't think it's worth buying until they release the complete seasons.
Pure Hilarity.......2003-08-26
Though I haven't actually seen which episodes Michael J. Fox has included has his "favorites", I can say, that after watching Spin City re-runs for the last 3 years, that the show is quite simply, hilarious. The cast are perfect for their roles (No one could have protrayed Mayor Randal Winston as perfectly as Barry Bostwick). The dialouge is witty, the story-lines creative. Several episodes I have seen numerous times I still laugh out loud at. I am pleased to see the series coming to DVD, and am anxious to see what episodes are Fox's "favorites". I'd recommend Spin City to anyone looking for some good old fashioned laugh out loud, innocent comedy. I'd bet that if Michael J. Fox hadn't been stricken with Parkinson's Disease, (thoughts and prayers for him and his family), the show would still be going strong today.

Family movie.......2007-08-09
There are not enough family type movies out there in this day & time. This is a heart warming story that you can watch with your kids or grandkids and not be embaressed. I love the Avonlea families.
Not like seasons 1-5.......2007-07-08
"Avonlea Christmas" is missing the wonderful charm of the six seasons of "Road to Avonlea". I have not seen season-7.
I highly recommend seasons 1-5 of "Road to Avonlea", season-6 is good, but does not reach the heights of the earlier seasons. The episodes are written by different writers. The focus of the "Avonlea Christmas" episode, is one dispute to the next, rather than predicaments for the characters to display their personalities, and their ultimate warmth. The little kids are grown, so the same arguments are no longer cute. This episode-writer was unfamiliar with the true personalities of the characters previously established in the mind of the audience. My favorite episode writers of the early seasons of "Avonlea", Heather Conkie, Suzette Couture, and Hart Hanson, who set a high standard for the series, did not write "Avonlea Christmas".
Has the same technical proficiency in costumes, lighting, and good morals; but something is missing. It is not the same. Likewise, the first two "Anne of Green Gables" movies were great, (with the script lifted from the books) but the third Anne movie, during World-War-I, was unsatisfying, as here, written by a different writer, taking us to a place we did not wish to go, with characters we do not know.
If you do not expect to continue "Road to Avonlea", and do not mind more conflict, then you may enjoy this. Will be as good as anything on TV, but with characters who are not their old selves.
Another good period series is "Christy the Complete Series".
A Family Friendly movie at a Great Price.......2006-12-15
I loved watching the Anne of Green Gables movies when they came out in the 80's.
When Road to Avonlea series aired on Australian TV in the 90's. I again loved watching the program. When I found out that the series was now on DVD. I purchased all the seasons.
I found Avonlea Christmas on Amazon at a very good price $9.99. I puchased it without a second thought.
I found the movie very enjoyable to watch. It is a clean family friendly movie with family values.
These days it is hard to find a movie that can actually be called a family movie.
I would recommend this DVD to anyone who loved watching Anne of Green Gables.
A rather disappointing reunion for the "Avonlea" cast.......2004-01-23
Think of having a "Friends" reunion with only four of the characters (your pick) and you get an idea of why fans of "Avonlea" (a.k.a. "Road to Avonlea") were less than thrilled with this 1998 television movie. The premise of "Happy Christmas, Miss King" is that the King family has gathered together during the First World War to celebrate Christmas, but word comes that Felix has been listed as missing in action in France. Other plot lines have Aunt Hetty (Jackie Burroughs) hurting her back, Aunt Olivia (Mag Ruffman) thinking of moving back to Avonlea, and Felicity (Gema Zamprogna) trying to find a new career. The problem is that which each of these last three plotlines each character is missing their key counterpart from the series: Sara Stanley, Jasper Dale, and Gus Pike respectively. The Story Girl and the two husbands appear in old footage, but that just emphasizes the fact that they should have been there.
The story is by Raymond Storey, although those who have read the entire Lucy Maud Montgomery canon will recognize the son missing in action bit from "Rilla of Ingleside," the last of the Anne of Green Gables books. In a sense, that novel becomes my basis for comparison as much as the original series, because that is the one book I have read that really gave me a sense for what the First World War was like for the people of Canada. The war went on for years before the United States entered and Montgomery really gave a sense of how long it was, whereas "Happy Christmas, Miss King" takes place during the holiday season. However, to be fair, this story is not as disappointing as the "Anne of Green Gables: The Continuing Story," which finds Anne Shirley and Gilbert Blythe still not married during the war years. Too bad, because "Rilla of Ingleside" was one of Montgomery's better novels because of its treatment of what happened during that time.
It was nice to see familiar faces, such as Cedric Smith as Alec King, and Patricia Hamilton as Mrs. Rachel Lynde, but if you are going to bring most of the cast back it should have been for something more special than this. Dealing with the war really should have been the dominant focus without the half-hearted efforts to get us up to date on some of the characters. Against the backdrop of a world war the petty marital squabbles of Olivia and Felicity seem rather childish. Besides, the television series ended with Felicity's marriage and it is just wrong to throw out that happy ending without serving some greater purpose than what we have here. "Happy Christmas, Miss King" will disappoint most viewers, simply because of the heightened expectations they will have based on their memories of the beloved series. Fans will want to see it, but they should do so with lowered expectations.
Heartwarming Avonlea Christmas Story.......2003-01-01
Note: This DVD is the same movie as the earlier released "Happy Christmas, Miss King".
I really enjoyed this movie. From what I remember, it was filmed and released after the Road to Avonlea series had finished filming its 7 seasons. The movie stays true to the Avonlea characters and scenery.
For one of the reasons that Kevin Sullivan stopped the filming of the charming RTA series... the Christmas movie shows the time of war. The boys of Avonlea (including Felix King) go to war and all the innocence of Avonlea is temporarily lost.
However, this is a Christmas movie, and 'The Road to Avonalea Christmas' depicts the Christmas theme with all the charm and detail that the Road to Avonlea series has brought us.
I would definitely add this DVD to your personal or child's collection.

Not Quite the best, but still better than most shows.......2007-08-26
Season 6 of "Avonlea" as we always knew it by in the US is not quite as excellent as its pervious seasons, but is still worth the purchase none the less. The season begins with one of the best episodes of the series, "The Return of Gus Pike." This episode finally resovles the story arc between Gus Pike, Captain Crane, Abe Pike, and Gus's Mother. In this episode we finally find out why exactly Gus ended up a orphan without a family, and what really happened to his mother Eliza. Janet-Laine Green does a amazing job of portraying Gus's mother and even somewhat resembles him.
The other episodes in this season are kind all over the place. Focusing on many of the different characters. Sara appears in only one episode, and it is basically the big goodbye for Sarah Polley who had, had her fill of the series. In this episode Sara must decide rather she is going to follow her own dreams or those of her Aunt Hetty or Nanny Louisa. The episode also brings back Arthur Pettibone who returns. Definately one of my favorite episodes of the series.
In this season the character of Cecily is replaced by actress Molly Atkinson. Atkinson brings new life and depth to the character that the previous actress was not able to. I'm not saying the prior actress was bad or anything, but Atkinson brings Cecily more in to adulthood. The third episode in the season is called "Christmas in June," and is probably one of the best stand alone stories of the series.
Also during this season, the character of Rachel Lynde suffers two seperate strokes. She must leave her beloved Avonlea and Green Gables and that leaves Hetty King to raise Davey and Dora Keith. It almost seems at this point that the writers were just trying to find something for the very talented Jackie Burroughs to do.
There are several good episodes and several ones that a individual could probably do without. We see less of Sara (again only in one episode), Felicity, and Gus(also only in one), but more of Felix, Hetty, Davey, Dora, Izzy, and Green Gables alum Miss Stacey. Definately a enjoyable season at the very least!
ROAD TO AVONLEA THE COMPLETE SIX SEASON.......2007-05-15
THAT IS A GRAT MOVIE YOU JUST WANT TO SEE ALL OF IT.
Pleasant........2007-04-06
Season-six weakens in episode consistency compared to earlier seasons. Out of 13-espisodes, 8 are pleasant, 2 break believability without the real Cecily, 2 are good, and 1 is excellent. The pleasant stories of Avonlea do continue. The episode, "A Fox Tale", where Felix and Izzy start a business, is excellent with bantering between Felicity and "that annoying boy" Nat Lester.
Sarah appears in one episode.
A different actress plays Cecily, appearing and starring in two episodes. The original actress, in spite of the small part, created a likeable and memorable Cecily with a distinct personality; that she could not be replaced without notice. The two emotional Cecily episodes depend on the audience remembering and liking the original Cecily, but then switch someone else as Cecily. Who's idea was that? If they were unable to sign the original actress for another season after flowers and gifts, they would have done better to leave Cecily out entirely.
This season has less scenic outdoor photography that was so appealing.
The touted "Behind-the-scenes" is only a "preview" of this DVD that you have already bought, and the producer saying it is a nice season.
The writers of my favorite episodes of the early seasons, Heather Conkie, Suzette Couture, and Hart Hanson are missing this season.
These disappointments should be forgiven, in light of this wonderful series. It really is a great series.
You should start with the first season; as seasons 1-5 are best. Charming children and adults get into fun predicaments. If you liked "Little House on the Prairie" or "Anne of Green Gables"; you will like this. The realistic, likeable, characters are people that I would like to know. Avonlea is a place that I would like to visit, with beautiful countryside, farm, horses, period costumes and sets, women in pretty dresses, charm, some humor, interesting activities, and a lively pace.
Disney spared no expense creating fun escapades.

Love This Series.......2007-03-07
I am a fan of L M Montomery's work and I love how Kevin Sullivan can turn her books into wonderful productions.
Anne of Green Gables , the sequel and the continuing story are loved by so many people around the world
and this movie turn series that lasted seven seasons is no exception.
If you enjoyed the Anne Movies or/and books by L M Montomery you will not be disappointed with this production.
I have brought this and An Avonlea Christmas for my friends.

2 episodes = 1 movie.......2006-06-26
If you haven't seen the Road to Avonlea series this would be a good way to find out if you are going to like it. I liked it and am now buying the series.
Basically, the movie is episodes 1 and 6 cut and edited together to make a reasonably coherent movie. There is a bit of a continuity jump in the middle but that is to be expected.
Road to Avonlea is based on L M Montgomery ('Anne of Green Gables' Fame )stories about Sara Stanley a "poor little rich girl" sent to live with relatives on Prince Edward Island.
It has all the charm and grace of "Anne of Green Gables" and all the humour too. If you are looking for a family friendly movie then this has a lot going for it.
The disk has a small extras section giving some backgound to the series. If you want to know more about the series have a look at the reviews for seasons 1-7.

Customer Reviews:
Fun and Inspiring.......2007-09-02
First of all: Suicide Girls are beyond hot!!
I also have the first Suicide Girls DVD (The First Tour), and this DVD ist quiet different from the first.
This is not a "stage- and/or backstage" film (as the first dvd), but a "travel" film.
The landscape is very nice, but this is not the most important thing here. It is just a "geographical reference".
On this DVD every girl gets her own segment, and a "video-photo-shooting". VERY NICE shooting.
It's also funny, nice, and more "quiet" as the first SC-DVD, but better than "the first tour DVD".
And please, this is not a girl-girl action movie (if you are looking for it), but a movie about that 20 or so hot girls naked in tuscany.
And the girls are amazing.
The second thing: the audio and VIDEO quality is top! I love it!
The soundtrack is also a positive point on this DVD.
dont think buy.......2007-06-15
ok 20 or so hot girls naked in tuscany at some villa are you thinking bout it really? come on just get it its cheep compared to the hours of fun u r gonna have
Beautiful!.......2007-05-21
Gorgeous Suicide Girls, cornfields, swimming pools, tattoos and goth wear, what else do you need? I think I actually liked this dvd better than the 1st Tour one. All hail Munko!
no as good as the last.....boring!!!!.......2007-03-30
these girls have no talent show....and are not on the road. what your going to get is basic photo shoots , very lame!
Loved it!!!!!.......2007-03-14
if you are a SG Fan you must own this DVD Just like the first DVD theres lots of interviews and extra cool stuff Manko also narrates it so it has to be awesome!

ROAD TO AVONLEA THE 5 SEASON.......2007-05-15
I AM SO HAPPY THAT I HAD THE OPORTUNITY TO SEE ALL OF IT, EXCELLENT I LOVED AS MY FAMILY DO..
Charming........2007-04-06
Charming children and adults get into fun predicaments.
If you liked "Anne of Green Gables" or "Little House on the Prairie"; then you should like this. Seasons 1-6 are excellent.
The realistic, likeable, characters are people that I would like to know. Avonlea is a place, I would like to visit. I like the beautiful, country-side, the farms, the horses, and the period style of dress, with the women in their pretty dresses, the period sets and homes, the humor, the warmth, the inviting activities, and the lively pace. Avonlea carries you to a nicer place.
Disney spared no expense to create fun and interesting escapades.
I especially liked the episode where Aunt Hetty, Jasper, and Aunt Olivia purchase the Lobster Canning Factory; because Jasper and Olivia are such charming characters in figuring out how to improve the factory.
This series has been my best money value; dividing the 13-episodes by the cost: $51÷13 episodes = $3.92 per 46-minute episode. Sells new in Canada for $80.

Customer Reviews:
Not bad, but I was expecting more.......2007-03-15
Things I like about this DVD:
1. It shows you dance and body movements from basics to more advanced styling technique.
2. Good contents.
Things that I think can be improved:
1. The instructor is facing you the whole time. It's hard to mimic the moves and steps when she is the opposite of you. It would be great to film her from her back so it's easier to see exactly what the steps are.
2. The voice recording isn't very good. There are times when I can hear her pretty well but other times I had to turn up the volume in order to hear her voice clearly.
3. I feel that the spinning techniques can be elaborated more. She showed all kinds of spins in salsa but did not really get into the details of how to practice and perfect your spin.
Very detailed and easy to follow.......2007-01-27
This video is great! It is a bit pricey but definately worth it. I dance salsa and I wanted my technique to improve. Before I'd have trouble doing more than one spin because I'd trip over myself... but she breaks them down so well, that I was able to do two very nice flawless turns. I'm really excited. I plan to watch this video more than once. It's awesome. I'm a beginner but this can also be for intermediate or just anyone that wants to brush-up on their technique. Loved it!
