An earnest and at times overblown story of a music teacher's impact on those around him, Mr. Holland's Opus is at times a genuinely touching drama in the vein of It's a Wonderful Life. Richard Dreyfuss (Jaws, Close Encounters of the Third Kind) plays an aspiring composer and musician who takes a job teaching music at a local high school to save money while he composes his music. But when his wife (Glenne Headley) becomes pregnant, Glenn Holland must put aside his dreams and address the everyday realities of his life, from the melancholy and sometimes tragic fates of his students to the discovery that the son he cherishes is deaf. Building to a highly emotional climax in which the teacher sees the impact he's had on the world around him, Mr. Holland's Opus is a showcase for a fine Oscar-nominated performance by Dreyfuss and an engaging, heartwarming story. --Robert Lane

Customer Reviews:
A movie you can watch 1000 times.......2007-09-09
I first saw this movie when I was about 10 and I still watch it all of the time! The reason I got this was for a new teacher to inspire him, but there are so many good things about this movie. The best part about it is that ten people can watch it and get ten different ideas of what the movie was about.
A Teacher Is Born.......2007-09-02
This totally believable student/teacher drama grabs the viewer's attention from the beginning. Set in the turbulence of the 1960's it sweeps you through 30 years of this man's life (the real-life events that are woven through it are well done). It is the story of a man with good intentions, a teacher who is still learning himself. Glenn Holland (played by Richard Dreyfuss) is an aspiring composer who turns to teaching music at a local high school as a way to help make ends meet and still have time for his composing. His dream in life is to compose an opus that would one day make him famous. His wife (played by Glenne Headley) is loving, devoted and supportive wife. Things begin to change when she becomes pregnant and gives birth to their deaf child. Initially, Glenn has a great difficulty dealing with the fact that his son is deaf and gradually we see him pulling away from his family. For him, it is incomprehensible to have a child who is unable share his love of music. As we all do, Glenn has his faults, but he has a very big heart which keeps you tuned in to caring about him.
This movie is about real people in realistic situations. We see a struggling teacher, the wife who supports the struggling teacher through everything, a caring well intentioned principal, a very strict, rigid vice principal, and the students who can all be found in any high school anywhere in the U.S.. The one thing that makes this movie magical is the simplicity of it.
He's not a bad man, on the contrary, he's just a man. This is an inspirational movie that will stay with you long after you see it for the first time. It is the story of how you can discover new dreams as you pursue the old ones. Tried, true and timeless it is probably Richard Dreyfuss' greatest role yet. There are nothing but remarkable performances by this cast which includes Olympia Dukakis, William H. Macy, Jay Thomas, Alicia Witt just to name a few.
One thing that cannot be omitted from a review of this spectacularly moving film is the fantastic soundtrack. This PG movie should be required viewing for all music students (who knows, they might learn alot from it).
Make a difference.......2007-07-12
This is my favorite movie. I have watched it over and over again. I find it to be a great source of inspiration for the average Joe. You can make a difference and not even know it as long as you do your best and help others.
Too bad the movie did not win Academy Awards. At least Richard Dreyfuss was nominated for his superior, inspiring acting in this movie.
"Just some kid I taught how to bang a drum....".......2007-07-10
This movie is Richard Dreyfuss' shining career moment. When we're looking back on his life, we're going to look at this film as the moment he truly became a star. He'd been in countless movies before and has starred in a number since, But this film... this film alone... cemented his name into the annuls of Hollywood History forever.
Mr. Holland (Dreyfuss) is an aspiring musician who decides to take on a job as a music teacher while he's waiting for his musician career to take off. Fast forward 30 some odd years. Teacher Mr. Holland is still working on what he feels is his greatest musical accomplishment. All along, he's helped others appreciate music and, in many ways, appreciate life through the appreciation of music.
Life struggles, including a deaf son, seem to always blind Mr. Holland to the symphony he's writing every day... in the hearts of the people around him.
"Mr. Holland might think himself a failure..." one former student laments near the end of the story... "and he would be wrong..."
I could write all day long and I couldn't sum up the moral to this story any better.
If you haven't seen this movie, you must see it. You're missing out on one of the best movies ever made!!!
Magnum Opus.......2007-06-12
Without becoming breezy or overly sentimental, 'Mr. Holland's Opus' shows us the dilemma of many teachers. How does one juggle all of the piles of responsibility one is given, and how does one rise above the fray to achieve greatness? With many hurdles to overcome, Glenn Holland (in an extraordinary performance by Richard Dreyfuss) comes to Portland's Kennedy High School with the aspiration of employment filler with enough free time to compose his own music. Naive about the demands for extra-curriculars and student tutoring, Glenn, nevertheless, must reinvent the wheel and learn to accomodate his students by taking risks to win their love for music. Locking heads with the vice principal (played with perfect starchy officiousness by William Macy), he nearly loses his job and composure. At home his loving, understanding wife will stand by him, but plausibly loses patience when their own beloved son (who was born deaf) gets the shaft on some quality mentor time. Feeling his pain, we also are absorbed in the lives of key students (in fine early performances by Terrence Howard and [Forrest] Whitaker to name a couple). He gets reprieves with the football coach (Jay Thomas) who offers friendship and a spirited rivalry. With a rising starlet at his school and the soundtrack of their lives evolving to John Lennon, the poignancy of a man who has painted himself into a corner comes to roost.
'Mr. Holland's Opus' is as realistic as it is an emotional dead ringer. Admittedly, I prejudged this movie on the notion that it would be facile, cloying, or overly sentimental. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Customer Reviews:
My daughter loves it.......2007-03-18
I recommend this one highly. My daughter loves it. It has all of the classic songs and great bonus features. Great compilation.
great for little princess fans everywhere.......2006-11-10
I bought this product for my 2 year old daughter who is already a Disney Princess junkie and she loves it. The DVD contains a solid lineup of songs and is a lot of fun for any little girl who loves to sing and dance. All of the 'princesses' are represented Cinderella, Snow Whtie, Jasmine, Mulan etc. The best aspect of the DVD is that it does hold the little people's attention for a good 30-40 minutes.
Sing Along Songs Vol. 1.......2006-11-05
My 3-year-old loves it, but I think there should be more songs on it for the price of the DVD.
3 yr old likes it.......2006-08-19
My 3 year-old daughter really liked this video right away. She has watched it several times. I like the music except for the pop version of bibbidi bobbidi boo, they've ruined that one. Also, can't help wondering if we want to encourage the idea that girls should wait for a prince to come and save them. There is a lot of that in the video. Otherwise it is enjoyable, even for me.
My Daughter Loves It!.......2006-03-09
My daughter is 19 months old and loves this video. She dances to the songs and wants to watch it all the time. The songs are great and I'm sure as she gets older it will be wonderful having the lyrics displayed for her to sing along.

Margaret Wise Brown and Clement Hurd's bestselling children's book headlines this winning 25-minute collection of sleepytime tales from HBO. Susan Sarandon narrates the simple story of a bunny readying for bed. Other top entertainers lend their voices to the tape: Tony Bennett sings the story of "Hit the Road to Dreamland"; Lauryn Hill brings rhythm to "Hush, Little Baby" (the best segment); Billy Crystal lends many voices to Mercer Mayer's "There's a Nightmare in My Closet"; and singers Natalie Cole, Aaron Neville, and Patti LeBelle sing other tales. A dandy video for the youngster, punctuated with "interviews" of real kids answering a host of bedtime questions. --Doug Thomas
Customer Reviews:
Lovely Good Night Moon Segment.......2007-09-13
I have grown to really appreciate this DVD. Initially, I was primarily drawn to Susan Sarandon's reading of Good Night Moon, which is lovely. But we (I, my spouse and our 19-month old) now enjoy -- Braham's Lullably, Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, Tar Beach, and a Nightmare in my Closet. I was concerned that our child would be frightened by the Mercer Nightmare story, but she finds the scene of the Nightmare character crying to be funny (so much for empathy). At this age, she is not interested in hearing the segments with children talking about dreams, so we skip tracks frequently. The kids are well-spoken and an interesting mix of voices but are very New York, as another reviewer commented.
Such a perfect savior when the child won't sleep!.......2007-09-05
This show has been on HBO and we Tivo'd it - our daughter gets to watch it only when she is unable to fall asleep. Works everytime. Very poignant messages, great talented voices throughout and just a nice family DVD - the only one we own!
It's not that good........2007-08-23
I bought this vedio for my toddler son. I do not think he is interested at all. There are too many talks from the kids that he would not even understand but not enough music and pictures to draw his interest.
Doesn't Work For Our House, Might Work For Yours.......2007-08-23
My one year old daughter LOVES the Classical Baby series and I purchased this DVD hoping for something along the same lines - a soothing bedtime type of show.
The stories are great but each segment is prefaced with little kids chattering away. I don't mind the chatter, but I imagine that it would start to grate with repeated viewings. I wish there was a way to just view the stories.
When my daughter sees the other children on TV, she is VERY interested in them. So interested that she sits straight up (almost like she's thinking, "Ooh! Big kids!") and we lose all of the progress we've made toward sleepytime. I'll give this DVD another shot when she's a little older.
All kids are different so maybe this DVD will work at your house!
Wonderful!!.......2007-08-09
I loved this story when my ten year old was a baby, and now I have a one year old that absolutely loves the video version before bed!! It is the perfect wind down from the day for a great bedtime tradition. We watch it every night, and change off every now and then with Goodnight Gorilla, another wonderful bedtime story. My son goes down without a peep after these videos!! Great investment! Great gift for baby showers too!!!

Amazon.com essential video
She wasn't a beauty queen, but country-music star Patsy Cline's voice was a thing of wonder: full-bodied, aching and dreamy at the same time. She came by the torchy emotions in her songs honestly, as shown in this biopic directed by Karel Reisz, rising from poor surroundings, literally forcing her talent on the Nashville establishment, all the while trying to survive an abusive marriage to a drinker. Though the script by Robert Getchell is standard Hollywood biography, the movie is more than watchable, thanks to a bone-deep performance by the always astonishing Jessica Lange and the counterpoint by Ed Harris as her loving but unreliable husband. The soundtrack features a basketful of Cline's hits, which Lange convincingly lip-synchs. --Marshall Fine
Customer Reviews:
SWEET DREAMS DVD.......2007-07-09
I am a huge fan of Patsy Cline. This is a great movie which I wanted for my collection.
Sweet Dreams.......2007-06-27
I think that Sweet Dreams is a wonderful movie I have been watching it since it first came out. Jessica Lange and Ed Harris do a wonderful job of acting. It is a well down portrait of the late Pasty Cline.
Wonderful life story of a rising star........2007-03-24
I just can't say enough about how wonderful this movie is.
Even if you are not a big Patsy Cline fan, you will still be mesmerized by this story of her rise to fame.
Back in her day, you actually had to put more footwork into selling youself to the music industry, It wasn't like it is today. You didn't just get famous with a few phone calls and favors down the line. You actually had to have raw talent, the thing so many singers are lacking today, and boy did she have it !!!
Of course, through this movie, it is Patsy's true voice with Jessica Lange lip synching to it.I just love her crystal clear voice. Especially in "Sweet Dreams", "Crazy" and " I fall to Pieces". We also get to hear "Walkin after Midnight" as well as many other favorites.
Her story is pretty intriguing, too. Of her rise to fame, her marriage, her children, and then her sad plane crash.
I really think you will love this as much as I did. And it is a movie you will watch over and over because it is that good.
If you saw, and liked "Coal Miner's Daughter" - You will absolutely LOVE Sweet Dreams !!!!
Not as Sweet as Daughter.......2007-03-12
"Sweet Dreams" was good, but not as good as "Coal Miner's Daughter." Lange did a decent enough job lip-synching, but Sissy Spacek's performance in "Coal Miner's" was outstanding. Beverly D'Angelo as Patsy in "Coal Miner's" was actually more believable, both in terms of looks and actual singing. "Sweet Dreams" is still a should-see movie for any Patsy Cline fan.
This is special.......2007-01-10
Patsy Cline, Jessica Lange, what more do we need. Let me tell you this is a definitive example of Country Music at its best. I fell in love with Patsy in 1960 and the affair has lasted 46 years. Her music is timeless. This movie has a great cast, is well acted and is not the usual stumbling memorial to a star long gone. For CM enthusiasts or for those who haven't learned the truth yet but need converting, this is a classic movie with the BEST music and sound track.

Customer Reviews:
Very Disappointing - They've Modernized The Fun Out Of It.......2007-09-11
This didn't go over well with the wee ones in my home at all. The older Strawberry Shortcake stories had an innocent charm that was completely lacking here. The whole thing seemed crass and the story didn't have enough ideas to sustain it through feature length. When the kids walk away before the show's over, it's a bad sign.
NOT AS GOOD AS THE DIC TV SHOW.......2007-07-11
MY DAUGHTER LOVES STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE, SHE WATCHES ALL THE EPISODES FROM BEGINNING TO THE END, BUT THE MOVIE LOOKS DIFFERENT AND SHE LOOSES INTEREST...SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THE TV EPISODES...
It's Strawberry.......2007-05-13
My daughter loves Strawberry Shortcake. There are a few scary parts, but other than that she loves it!
What The Heck Happened To Strawberry Shortcake + Friends?.......2007-04-18
Wow, after watching this, I'm disappointed! The usually super-cute gang has been annimated into a funky, scary bunch in an attempt to make them seem, well, more life-like. imho, They look fugly! Although the story itself is cute, there are much better choices out there in Starwberry land. Click over to the recent Berry Fairy Tales or Moonlight Mysteries (steer clear of this plot if you have really young ones).
Not bad, but not the best..........2007-04-06
Even though 3D animation does'nt suit Strawberry, I hate the way they 'updated' SSC and her friends outfits, and they seemed to have forgotten all about Huckleberry Pie, this movie was not as bad as I thought it would be.
As a baby of the 80's I grew up with the series of cartoons SSC had back then, and they always were lighter than even My Little Pony or Care Bears in terms of story. Alot of that feeling is in this movie, only the depressing parts in 'Silly Dreamer' do seem a little dark for Strawberry Land...
It is so nice to see the Purple Pieman and Sour Grapes back again (they were the old series villains), though it seems a bit odd the writers made them brother and sister and replaced Sour Grapes snake pet with a horse named Dobbin wearing a bakers hat :P.
All and all it is a good movie though, much better than the newer My Little Pony cartoons. I wonder why they waited so long to make this when the whole style of the SSC dolls is being changed yet again by another company?

A family film with plenty of heart, Opal Dream draws home the point that sometimes you don't have to see things to believe in them. Set in the Australian outback, the film focuses on Kellyanne (Sapphire Boyce), a sensitive young girl whose only pals are a pair of imaginary friends named Dingan and Pobby. She is so attached to them that her mother sets two extra plates at the dinner table. And when she's at school, she seems oblivious to her schoolmates who mock her as she skips to class "holding" Dingan and Pobby's hands. In an effort to encourage her to make real live friends, her mother takes Kellyanne to a neighbor's pool party while her father agrees to take Dingan and Pobby to the opal mine he has been unsuccessfully prospecting. It is from this point on that the family's fortune turns. To appease his daughter--who insists her father lost her friends--Rex (Vince Colosimo) returns to the mine, only to be accused by another prospector of trying to poach from the latter's reserve. Unable to reconcile herself with the loss of her only friends, Kellyanne's health deteriorates. It is left to her brother Ash (Christian Byers) to make things right by believing in his sister. At times, the viewer is left wondering whether the family--and the town--has been doing Kellyanne a disservice by encouraging her to believe that her imaginary friends are real. Fragile and gentle, she may have benefited from talking to a therapist years ago. Directed by Peter Cattaneo (The Full Monty), Opal Dream is uneven and doesn't always flow smoothly. But the child actors are charming and the message is sweet. As Ash says, "No matter what anyone said, they really did live." --Jae-Ha Kim

Customer Reviews:
Not what I was expecting.......2007-06-01
This movie was not what I was expecting it to be. I was expecting a much lighter movie with a lot of sequences where you see the little girl's make believe world. The closest you get to seeing her imaginary friends is a picture she draws of them.
That being said, it was still a pretty good movie. I would say the movie focuses more on her older brother than anything else and the processes of him (and eventually, the town) to see this girl's imaginary world. By the end I was wishing I had a brother like hers.
This is a pretty safe movie for family viewing (although some spots I would consider too dark for small children to watch).
An Exceptional Film!.......2007-05-12
The LA Times Reviews of this movie described it as "an exceptional family film!" It's more than that ... its an exceptional film, period.
The authors of this movie took something from nothing, an idea about imaginary friends, and wove it into a rich tale that tugs on your emotions and evokes a parabole about coming of age and of moving on from mental illness.
"When You Dream You Are Supposed To Be Asleep" What Is Real And What Is Imaginary?.......2007-05-05
Synopis: Little nine year old Kellyanne (Sapphire Boyce) lives with her parents and older brother in rural Australia. Her Father (Vince Colosimo) is a dreamer who hopes to secure his families future by discovering a cache of opals under the harsh desert climate. As he labors away without reward Kellyanne's Mother (Jacqueline McKenzie) brings in the families only income working as a clerk in a local grocery store. Her big brother Ashmol (Christian Byers) is a well adjusted outgoing child. Kellyanne is quite different. She is a sweet but extremely introverted child who sends all her time communicating with two imaginary friends named Pobby and Dingan. Her fantasy is tolerated by her family to such an extent that they even set two additional plates at the table for Kellyanne's playmates. However when Pobby and Dingan go missing the little girl becomes mysterious ill and nobody knows what to do to restore her to health. That is nobody except her brother Ashmol who decides to organize a search for the lost duo. His biggest problem now is to figure out how do you find something that's invisible?
`Opal Dream' ('06) is a endearing story in the tradition of `E.T.' and `Indian in the Cupboard' that can be equally enjoyed by young and old alike. The plot might be a little slow and challenging for some younger children but the implications of this mythic tale from Down-Under are exquisitely subtle and absolutely fascinating. Surely this bittersweet tale of transition from childhood to adolescence will generate much thought in viewers of all ages. What is real and what is imaginary? Do any of us really know for sure?
The movie Opal Dream.......2007-05-04
This is a sweet family film. We bought this the other day, and I sat down and watched it by myself before showing it to my children. Because it was a PG rating, I wanted to see if it was the family film it claimed to be. There were only two curse words that I could remember in it, and I let my children watch it that afternoon. It's about a father struggling to survive in Australia with a wife and two children. They are in the lower poverty level of society, and the father owns a opal mine that's gone dry. He can't find any opals, and between his hard work there, he comes home to his daughter Kellyanne, who has two imaginary friends she plays with constantly. If you look on the photo of the DVD you will see her holding their imaginary hands, but look in the dirt on the road, and you will see their shadows. Kellyanne loves these two friends of hers to the point where she takes them to school with her, goes to the market with them, and plays with them at home too. Her mother even sets plates out for them at their family meal time. Needless to say, with the frustration of the father's opal mine, and Kellyanne's imaginary friends, he decides to take them to work with him, in hopes that Kellyanne would forget about them and play like a normal kid when invited to a BBQ. As Kellyanne's two friends are "lost" at the mines, the father helps look for them in the dark on the night that he lost them. He gets arrested, as other people running their own mines think he's trying to trespass on their mines. This movie is sweet, but uses a lot of Australian slang words, that I didn't know what they meant. The word "dag" was used by Kellyanne's brother, and I looked it up on a website, which said it meant "Bits of manure that stick on a sheep's bottom, also used when referring to one as a 'loser'." They used also another word, "ratter" which wasn't on the website of Australian slang words, so I believe it either means "thief", or "trespasser", as they called the father this when he entered an opal mine without permission of the owner. They called him a ratter throughout the whole movie. Anyway, I won't explain the ending so I won't spoil the outcome of the movie. My kids loved this movie and asked again to watch it last night. It's a nice movie about a family sticking together no matter what other people think about them. Good entertainment for the whole family.

Patsy Live.......2007-04-06
Enjoyed seeing her performances but would rather just listen. Ok for a look at history.
Thrilling Look Into Star's TV Performances.......2006-11-10
I have been a Patsy Cline fan for a long time. All I ever had to go on is her recordings, which are awesome! Now, you get to see the lady in action! It is such a pleasure to see Patsy teasing the camera with her eyes, sometimes turning out better performances than those captured on her legendary recordings. And the suplimentary material with Patsy singing "Let It Snow!" with Ferlin Husky is priceless! Patsy never recorded any Christmas material during her short career, so to hear her sing this classic is a treasure, indeed. And for those who are looking to break into the music industry, they can take a lesson from these TV performances. Patsy is graceful, and moreover, she is fully dressed! That is the way it's done, folks. Highly recommended for any music fan!
Pure Patsy At Her Best!.......2006-11-05
I have been a diehard Patsy fan since about 1985, when the movie Sweet Dreams came out. I have the Real Patsy Cline, Remembering Patsy, and now the Sweet Dreams Anthology videos. These are a must for anyone that wants to know more about this legendary singer. This video represents some of Patsy's best work. If want to see pure magic, I reccommend that you get this video!
Live Video of Patsy, not the background.......2006-04-19
I love Patsy. I bought two documentaries the same day, one was this, the anthology, the other was The Real Patsy Cline. I watch the movie Sweet Dreams with Jessica Lange over and over and always wondered what Charlie Dick was really like and what happended to him and the children. The Real Patsy Cline DVD has more of this. The Anthology DVD is more live video of Patsy. I enjoyed it, but not as much as the other one. It depends on what you are looking for. Interviews with family members, get The Real Patsy Cline, if you want live video of Patsy back in "the day", get the anthology. Hope this helps.
A True Treasure, I Hope There Is More To Follow This.......2006-03-18
This DVD collection is a unique and very rare opportunity for fans of Patsy Cline, and music historians alike. For the first time we actually have the chance to sit down and watch the magic and the music that is truly, and uniquely Patsy Cline, I would highly recommend this program to everyone, the sound is great, and they did a great job on cleaning up the video as well, trust me, these songs never looked or sounded this great in the 50's and early 60's when they first appeared.

That adorable little imp Fievel Mousekewitz is back (An American Tail, An American Tail: Fievel Goes West). Plucky and determined, Fievel sets out on a quest for buried treasure, located under old New York City, where he and his family happily reside (although his sometimes-cranky father is a workaholic). Underground, Fievel meets a clandestine civilization of Native American mice, with a sweet little gal reminiscent of Pocahontas to provide a little romance to boot. This may be a direct-to-video offering, but the quality is topnotch--animation is rich and lush, and the original tunes are fun and catchy. Moreover, the movie stresses such welcome notions as loyalty, family, affection, friendship, honesty, and honor. There's even a modest but effectively put message about who really belongs in America. Dom DeLuise, Party of Five's Lacey Chabert, and David Carradine lend their voices to the production. (Ages 2 and older) --N.F. Mendoza

My View On American Tail of Manthattan Island .......2007-06-10
Fun and exciting adventure of Feviel and the Gang ! Fun for any age or fans of the oringinal American Tail from 1986 !
Short but excellent adventure of American Tail and worth checking out for the kids and anybody else !
An unoriginal American Tail!.......2005-07-30
Plain & Simple- An American Tail & Fieval Goes West (1 & 2)...are two of the greatest cartoon movies to date...Why? Because of Director Don Bluth. i.e. (The Land Before Time.
The Original 1st Bluth movie surpasses all of the others.)
Stick with the originals - Only try'n to Help!
A cut below the others, but still great.......2004-04-18
For various reasons, I refuse to watch Disney cartoons, and until my two-year-old figures out how to get somebody to rent them for her, she won't see any either. The *American Tail* series is one of the few great options left.
This installment is neither as well drawn nor as musically satisfying as its predecessors, but it may well be my favorite cartoon movie now.
Of course, that's because I *like* the "political correctness" that one reviewer derided. I think that immigrant laborers and Native Americans, struggling for their place in an unforgiving City, make far better heroes than princesses and princes waiting for their divine rights to be recognized.
If workers'/aboriginal rights seem like kind of a drag to you, then you may want to head over to the *Lion King*; I'm sure Disney will be happy to take your money. If you'd prefer that your kids grow up with the (true) idea that America's story is more complicated than it first appears, this movie will be a great start.
And it's not like your kids will be bored with it. Since the DVD arrived three days ago, my daughter has frequently arisen from her nap already asking for 'mouse.' She likes Fievel and Papa just plenty, and I like the fact that she still has no idea who Mickey is.
I love an american tail 3.......2003-09-09
I watched this movie and i really like it.Its cool, fun and exciting.I can watch it over and over.I think anyone should enjoy this movie.
This movie.......2002-08-12
Okay. Alright I thought it was lame. The political correctness . I thought kids movies were a safe haven from that. The acting [was no good]. The animation oh lord. The animation it was done by the crew that created animanics. I hate warner bros animation. The good points were Cholina and Fievel. They were true to themselves. Fievel he's more annoying in this movie. He was cute and spirited in the first movie. I'll give an account of the films' good points. The movie isn't some lame recap of the first. Two stars for a good effort. minus three stars for political correctness.
Customer Reviews:
4 yr old favorite!.......2007-01-13
My 4 year old daughter absolutely loves this DVD. He sings along to it all day long(much to her 6 yr. old brother's dismay). I also like that it includes other "princesses" like Mulan and Pocahantas, I don't want her to think that you have to look a certain way to be special. We all have different color hair, eyes and skin, but we can all be a "Princess"!! Hightly recommend!!
