PRETTY IN PINK - Young Andie (Molly Ringwald) is one of the not-so-popular girls in high school. She usually hangs out with her friends Iona (Annie Potts) or Duckie (Jon Cryer). Duckie has always had a crush on her, but now she has met a new guy from school, Blane (Andrew McCarthy). He's one of the rich and popular guys but can the two worlds meet? FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF - Ferris (Matthew Broderick) is a street-wise kid who knows all the tricks. Today he decides to take the day off school. When Ferris takes the day off, so must his best friends, Cameron (Alan Ruck) and Sloane (Mia Sara). Cameron is reluctantly persuaded to borrow his father's Ferrari, and together they hatch a plan to get Sloane out of class. Suspicious dean of students Ed Rooney (Jeffrey Jones) knows all about Ferris, but can never catch him. Ferris' sister Jeanie (Jennifer Grey) is also frustrated that Ferris always gets away with his tricks and she doesn't. Furthermore, Ferris is an 'angel' in his parent's eyes. It's Ferris' day off, he's out to enjoy himself, and he does! SOME KIND OF WONDERFUL - A young tomboy, Watts (Mary Stuart Masterson), finds her feelings for her best friend, Keith (Eric Stoltz), run deeper than just friendship when he gets a date with the most popular girl in school, Amanda (Lea Thompson). Unfortunately, the girl's old boyfriend, Hardy (Craig Sheffer) who is from the rich section of town, is unable to let go of her, and plans to get back at Keith.

Well worth the price.......2007-04-12

First of all this set is a steal when one dvd costs $20.00 it does not take a genius to know your getting three movies for the price of one.
I love all the movies in this set how could any John Hughes fan not love them.
What memories these movies bring back and I love "getting the cast together" on the Ferris Buller dvd. It was great to see the cast after all this time only Mia Sara and Charlie Sheen were not in the recent interviews.

If you were a child or teenager of the 80s like me, this is the collection for you! I loved it! It was like going down memory lane! I highly recomend movie boxed sets like these for a rainy day or for a movie watching party or slumber party etc. So curl up on the couch with some popcorn and get ready to laugh and remonis!

Dumb.......2007-01-04

Although the DVD cover says this is about teenagers, and the 'kids' are shown in school, all the actors are obviously much older. None of them do a very good job of faking teenage behavior or even looking like teenagers. The British can make a sex comedy that is truly funny, but Americans seem to only make them seem dumb and silly. This movie is full of totally unbelievable silly behavior that makes the movie barely worth watching. I gave it a 'D' rating only because the language is surprisingly clean for a dumb sex comedy.
