The hot girl rock group The Cheetah Girls is about to discover just how important dreams and true friendship are as they head to Barcelona for an exciting summer vacation. When Chanel's (Adrienne Bailon) mother announces a trip to Barcelona to meet her current boyfriend's family, Chanel is distraught at being separated from the Cheetah Girls for the summer and worries that her mother may decide to move to Barcelona permanently. Galleria (Raven-Symoné) soon cooks up a plan that lands all of the Cheetah girls in Barcelona for a music festival, but once there, the girls' individual interests in music, dance, fashion design and even romance sweep them in so many different directions that there's little time for rehearsing together. Add in some very real competition from Barcelona's favorite upcoming singer Marisol (Belinda Peregrin) and her conniving mother and a lack of familiarity with the music festival rules, and the Cheetah Girls chances of winning the contest begin to fade. Galleria soon realizes that she must let each of her friends go in the direction their dreams take them, even if it means the end of the Cheetah Girls. In the end, all the girls learn a vital lesson about the importance of tolerance, friendship, and dreams. This movie is as the Cheetahs would say CHEETAH-LICIOUS. It has messages in it and well I better lay out the storyline.

Chanel finds out she is going to have to go to Barcolona Spain with her mother to vist Luc. She is not happy but the Cheetahs find an ad for a music festival and end up in Barcolona. They find new romances with Dorinda and Jacqin a Spainsh dancer. And New dreams Aqua finds a love for fashion designing. And of course new friends Chanel befriends a spainsh singer Marisol. They do get distracted but in the end can they sort it out.

This is an excelent movie and is good for the whole family

This movie The Cheetah Girls 2 is amazing. It features great acting, also the beautiful star of Disney's That's So Raven, Raven-Symone Pearman. The movie starts off in New York City's Performance hall, then a couple minutes later your in Barcelona, Spain. Where it features very many artifacts, and culture. Also some Spanish, and Spanish inspired music. Dont worry 1 of 13 songs in this movie is only Spanish, the rest is english. I love this movie, I watch it like every other day. I would have to say it is better than High School Musical, acting, music, and directed wise. You should definitely buy this amazing DVD/movie!

Anyways i definitely did not expect the movie to be really good.
The music was good and the storyline was made perfectly.
Raven and the cheetahs were really good and I must definitely say Better than
PArt 1 ....> it was good... can't wait to buy this dvd>>

This is a very good movie it has songs that give you messges you should listen to and understand. Here is the basic storyline

The Cheetah Girls are four teens. Dorinda Thomas, Chanel Simmons, Aquanette Walker and Galleria Garibaldi. And they are out to achive thier dream to be a famous Pop sensaition. But when things start to go wrong the Cheetahs split up. Will the Cheetahs ever get back together.

It is an exciting and sad movie great entertainment for the Whole Fanmily

This movie is pure fun for the whole family. Raven (That's So Raven) stars as Galleria, who has an interest in fashion and wants to be a singing star. She and her friends, Dorinda, Aqua and Chanel form The Cheetah Girls and soon decide to compete in their school's talent show.

Just when things seem to click, they meet a sleazy record producer who decides to take advantage of their desire to be stars and has them wear animal masks and all. At first, they're all dazzled by his smooth talk. Soon Galleria sees through his scheme but can't convince her friends who are tired of her controlling ways. The Cheetahs go their separate ways.

A near tragedy brings the girls back together. And all is well.

Originally aired on the Disney Channel in 2003, the DVD release has an alternate ending to the one aired on TV.

Great Movie for kids.......2007-03-13

This is a great movie for kids. It stretches the imagination while teaching lessons. Good pick even for a four year old.

A good movie spin off from the clever TV series.......2006-12-23

The family (mum, dad, daughter 10, son 8) saw this at the cinema and really enjoyed it. Its works well as a DVD on the small screen as well and has quite a serious storyline, although to honest our kids have only watched it a few times, so perhaps try renting as well. Our children prefered to watch their many hours of TV Wild Thornberry episodes on video instead, as there is far more variety. However this is a very successful movie translation with quite a strong story for kids. It's not unlike Tarzan really with it's England public school sequences. Your children would probably appreciate it more if they are familiar with the TV series (but then they will have probably seen it already), and unfortunately the TV series isn't being screened much at the moment. I think the film will still make perfect sense if you aren't familiar The Wild Thornberries (it's just the exact reason why Eliza can talk to animals that is glossed over). I preferred this movie to the later 'Rugrat's go wild'. It's particularly of interest to a UK audience as Nigel Thornberry is very 1950s English, and a cross between David Attenborough and George Sanders (Sheer Khan in The Jungle Book). Plus any film with Brit Tim Curry involved is always fun (the voice of Nigel). There's also Lynn Redgrave as Cordelia Thornberry - Nigel's mum. The film particularly suites girls as both main leads are girls (although the animal action sequences keep the young men happy). Highly recommended for a 5 to 11 audience (and their parents), particularly as now it's an old title, it's quite cheap.

The Thornberrys are a delightful family, but there's nothing subtle about this film. It's not bad enough for the bad guys to be poachers; they would also stoop to murdering children to bag a single animal. The lighter side of this story is fun and engaging, and the animation is wonderful. Darwin the chimp is so cute. Is it too much of a challenge to feature the Thornberrys in a more realistic and less violent environmental movie? Teenagers may be too old to appreciate this film's charms, but it's more than tolerable for parents.

I enjoy this film because it is entertaining and includes good messages, of compassion, responsibility and environmental conserns. I love films that get me thinking and keep me laughing and this is one of those.
