MTV's maniacal prankster, Tom Green, takes his surreal nonsense to the movies in Freddy Got Fingered. Playing a Portland, Oregon, goofball who dreams of becoming an animator, Green barely stitches together a rudimentary plot, but he does pile on the kind of agonizing nonsense that is his stock-in-trade: chewing through an umbilical cord, licking somebody's compound fracture, and presenting a sausage-and-keyboard contraption that surely would have delighted early-20th-century Dadaists. Predictably, Green loses something in the transition from television's freeform, microscopic glare to the more formal demands of cinema, and the result isn't pretty. The trouble is, this stuff is largely unsuitable for the broad scope of a movie and, in contrast to the guerrilla tactics of Green's TV show, is prefabricated for the lumbering process of filmmaking. This movie is AWESOME!! Whenever I'm feeling tired, sad or stressed out all I have to do is think of this movie to raise my mood. I've probably watched this movie well over 100 times and I still consider it to be a hilarious movie. Whoever is posting these comments about this movie being stupid and a bunch of nonsense probably has no sense of humor or is looking for your typical comedy. I love "stupid funny" movies and this is by far my favorite. Tom Green is sensational and puts on an act that no other comedian can even come close to. When I move to California this year I'm going to work in the CHEESE SANDWICH FACTORY DADDY!!!!

This is one of the most funniest films I have ever seen. I seen it in July 2007 on BBC one on a late Friday night and loved every minute of it.
I've met many people who love it after I shown them my copy of the DVD!.
It's become a cult classic due to fans of the films genre and Tom Green's fans like myself who say it's a very good movie, in fact I think it's fantastic.
How can people not find "The Backwards Man", "I've found the treasure", and "Fingers crossed!" scenes funny!!?, COME ON!!, and the "Put the cheese in your bum!" scene!!?. The "Zebras In America" cartoon had me going for weeks on end "You hear the funny sound?!, it's my hooves!, it's my hooves!", and even muttering to myself "The backwards man, the backwards man!, I can walk backwards as fast as you can!".
People saying it's the worse movie ever either don't get this film, or think "Manos: The Hands of Fate" without it's Mystery Science Theatre 3000 makeover a piece of cinematic art, when that was a total disaster.

This is one of the worst movie I have ever seen! Tom Green should be ashamed of himself. If he had a single ounce of decency, he would refund everyone who saw the movie in theatres or bought the DVD. It greatly saddens me that I cannot give it zero stars but one will have to suffice. I have nothing against physical comedies but this one crosses the line. Please do yourself, your friends, and your family a favor by not buying this garbage.
