I'd have to rate it the top comedy of '04.

I mean c'mon, who couldn't love a short Ben Stiller against Vince Vaughn throwing balls at each other.

Not a movie recommended for the younger crowd though. There are a few scenes that could have made this movie R.

This has become a cult film for our family and we watch it over and over. Subtle and in-your-face humor keep you laughing all the time. Great actors - Bill Stiller always makes me laugh and Christine Taylor is always great in comedic roles. If you like Zoolander, Office Space, and Taledega Nights, you'll love this one. I'm just spit-ballin' here, but this is a FUN movie! Touche!

I really didn't know what to expect when I watched this movie, but I certainly didn't expect to be laughing so hard that my stomach hurt! Ben Stiller truly inherited some comic chops from his comedian dad Jerry Stiller, and it shows in this movie. He is unequivocably funny every time he's on screen. Vince Vaughn, with his less flamboyant and more deadpan style of humor, is just as funny as the leader of the opposing team. And what a silly premise - dodgeball! It's the game you haven't thought about since you were 10 years old, and to think there's a movie about it that is actually VERY FUNNY. Enjoy this silly movie that is very, very entertaining.

I am glad that once in a year a person can see a good comedy where people try to achieve something to save themselves from downfall.
Ben Stiller is pretty awesome and rough in his character. I would have preferred more effects when contestants are hit by the ball.
Neverthless outstanding 'unique' comedy- belongs with Get Shorty, Borat, and Dumb and Dumber.

I saw This movie and I liked it. So When The PSP version comes out, I will be first to get it. I've heard that some psp movies are very dark even when the brightness setting is all the way up. I hope this movie looks just like the one on dvd. pick it up when it comes out!!!!!!

Not Just a Dodgeball Movie, A Landmark Film.......2005-04-15

This movie is one of the greatest sports movies ever. I liked the part where Patches (Rip Torn) hits Justin (Justin Long) with a wrench. I even liked the ESPN part where they showed crazy sports like Riding Mower Racing and playing Soccer with a soccerball on fire, and I thought that Black Dodgeball Team was funny (even though it was a little bit racist), but you know, I wanted to see the team called the M.I.L.F (Mom I'd Like to F*** You Know What I Mean) Dodgeball Team, because it reminded me of this team called the Mermaid Force in a comic book called Harlem Beat where they seduce their opponents in basketball. I think Vince Vaughn would make a great nomination for "Best Male Performance," "Best On-Screen Team" with the Average Joes and "Best Kiss" with Christine Taylor, and Ben Stiller would make "Best Villian," and "Best Comedic Performance," at this years 2005 MTV Movie Awards. I give this a 10 out of 10. By the way, this isn't just a dodgeball movie, it's a landmark film.
