Description
Focusing on accepting and accommodating differences." Not Separated at Birth" -- Zak and Wheezie are bickering over what they'll build for the new playground - the xylophone slide or the drum trampolines. When they wish they had separate bodies, Quetzal gives them some magic crystals -- and their wish comes true! But when Wheezie's slide collapses because she didn't follow directions, she misses Zak's patient input. Zak makes the trampoline so loose and saggy that Cassie and Emmy can't jump on it and he misses Wheezie, who always knows how to make things fun. "The Greatest Show in Dragon Land" -- The kids and dragons are really excited about flying to Wonder World amusement park. When they find out Zak and Wheezie have a broken wing and are unable to fly, however, they agree to accommodate their friends by walking there instead. "A Tall Tale" -- Eunice the unicorn, who is terribly near-sighted, has lost her glasses, and Max and Emmy join the dragons to help her find them. Max wants to steer Eunice so she can see where she's flying, but he's too small to climb up on her back. And when they spot an object that looks like her glasses, he's too short to reach it. Poor Max, who was already feeling frustrated about being too little to do the things he wants, feels even worse. "Dragon Sails" -- The group sets sail for Rainbow Canyon in search of a special rainbow-colored crystal to complete Cassie's shimmering crystal set. When Ord's heavy weight rocks their little boat and they all fall into the water, he's sad because he fears they'll have to continue on their adventure without him. He hates being so big! The gang solves the dilemma by crafting a bigger, Ord-size boat and off they go again. "Staying within the Lines" -- The Stickleback Mountains have lost their colors! They were washed away in a big rainstorm, so Quetzal puts the gang to work painting the scene. Max, who is not worried about staying within the lines, gets carried away with the blue he's using for the stream. As the river threatens to overflow, Emmy and Cassie finish off a boulder dam just in time. The five adventures in Dragon Tales: It's Cool to be Me! are linked by four songs, "Shake Your Dragon Tale," "Hello," "Zoo" and "Round & Round."

Dragon Tales.......2007-05-09
My granddaughter loves the Dragon Tale DVD's. Thank God there are nice DVD's out there.
Continuous play finally!.......2002-05-25
We just love the dragon tales cartoons. My three year old has learned so much about friendship from this series, and loves the music. The DVD itself is good. You can choose to play each episode once or play them all continuously. There is also and option to play the music segments which consist of four songs. Some of the songs are repeated from previous DVD's, but my daughter doesn't mind since they are so catchy.
Better than some of the previous dvd formats, and they still do not include a song between the chapters which would have been nice.

Be Cool takes its own advice: It's slick, Hollywood entertainment that kills two amusing hours with relative ease and comfort. Better than leftovers but not as tasty as a full-course meal, this sequel to 1995's hit comedy Get Shorty (and based on Elmore Leonard's 1999 sequel novel) finds former loan shark Chili Palmer (John Travolta) itching to get out of the movie business, so he hooks up with a newly widowed music executive (Uma Thurman) to launch the career of an up-'n-coming Beyoncé-like singer (newcomer Christina Milian). A mock-black manager (Vince Vaughn), his sleazy boss (Harvey Keitel), and an upscale gangsta-rap executive (Cedric the Entertainer) all have a competing stake in the fast-rising pop diva's future, and this sets the plot rolling in a fun but rather hand-me-down fashion that lacks the savvy panache of Get Shorty but still provides plenty of lightweight humor. The Rock and Outkast's André Benjamin provide the best laughs in supporting roles that effortlessly relieve the movie from the symptoms of sequelitis. --Jeff Shannon

When Chili Palmer (Travolta) decides to try his hand in the music industry, he romances thesultry widow (Thurman) of a recently whacked music exec, poaches a hot young singer (Christina Milian) from a rival label and discovers that the record industry is packin' a whole lot more than a tune!

Better than I thought it would be. No. Seriously!.......2007-09-11
This is the official sequel to the movie Get Shorty. I don't remember seeing it when I was younger, but if it was even a bit popular, I probably just forgot about it. Don't know the premise or anything, but I just finished watching this so I'll get into describing it a bit.
This movie at heart, is a comedy. There are over half a dozen scenes that try and get you to laugh. More or less, they succeed. Especially when Cedric The Entertainer beats a wary opponent with the spatula he just used to cook his lovely daughter some pancakes! There were many serious parts to it to which took me by surprise a little.
Linda Moon (the beautiful and somewhat talented Christina Milian) plays the tried and true starlet trying to make it in the music business. She has the pipes and she writes her own songs. You can't beat it really! John Travolta's character tries to get her signed to Uma Thurman's label. It takes a while (they find a mixer, try to get Linda's contract away from the "snake" of the movie and some of the plot takes place in between. Some of it mindless, some of it bearable.
Anyway, there are many, MANY well-known actors that play in this movie. You probably know them already, but I'm gonna regurgitate the main names:
Starring John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Danny Devito, Christina Milian (she's SOOOO pretty) Andre 3000 from Outkast, The Rock from WWF (right? I don't watch that rubbish. It's fake! >_>), Steven Tyler from Aerosmith (Pink is awesome), Cedric The Entertainer and Debi Mazar (whoever she is >_>).
This movie was directed by F. Gary Gray, who I know absolutely nothing about. But he helped create a mildly enjoyable film that's half comedy and half drama (I guess, not sure what else to call it!).
The white guy trying to be black had his moments, but was probably off-putting to some, hence the low 2.5 star rating the movie has at the moment. I think the movie overall was slightly better than that, but not by much.
Some of the music brought back memories (especially the song that was later "sampled" and made into that one song by Mase and others. You know the one! It came out in the mid 90s, I believe.
But the rap music in this movie (which there wasn't much of, Thank Goodness), minus the rap song at the end, was a different story; it royally sucked. There was one song where you just kept hearing the "B-word" over and over again, until you were ready to puke. It was very generic (yes, even more pointless than most "rap" you hear on the radio stations these days, and that's saying something. *looks at T-Pain* *pulls his own hair out at the travesty of the thought* I am no rap fan in the slightest and it must be said that the rap songs here were terrible. Mindless isn't descriptive enough.
This movie gets 3 stars from me. I can tolerate comedies to a certain point, but that's not all this was and I'm happy things turned out that way! =D
My two favorite scenes are first, where John and Uma's characters dance to the Black Eyed Peas song, which is my favorite by them, and is so underrated, Sexy, from their first CD that had Fergie on it, Elephunk. Fergie had a washboard stomach and made a short cameo with the other group members.
Half-heartedly recommended.
Pros:
John's character was very smooth. People pointed guns at him 2-3 times in the movie, and he managed to talk his way out of the situations all but one time.
Christina Milian sings her heart out. I also think that "Believer" was a song she wrote. She also makes for a very charismatic actress. She also sings, "Crazy" with Steven Tyler!
It's a comedy that has serious tones to it.
The Rock is SO hot in it! But sometimes he overdoes the gay act. >_>
Mild replayability.
Cons:
It's a comedy. >_>
Most of the rap songs are horrible.
Sometimes it's not all that funny.
The gay guy gets back stabbed. v_v
3 stars.
The reason to watch: Vince Vaughn as a pimp/producer/manager.......2007-04-12
There is one reason and one reason only to see Be Cool: the outrageous performance of Vince Vaughn as Roggie, a would-be music producer/manager who thinks he's black. Seriously. Between the Burberry jogging suits, gold chains, played out slang, and Pimps Up Hoes Down attitude I was almost amused enough not to notice that the rest of this movie was absolute [..]. Almost, but not quite.
So if you're going to watch this movie, go ahead and fast forward to all the scenes with Roggie because the rest of it is more or less useless. That's my two cents.
Disc was stolen!!!.......2007-02-16
I am not able to provide a review; when I received my shipment from Amazaon, the disc was missing from the Be Cool package! I was livid!!!! This is the first time I ordered movies from Amazon; I will think twice about ordering again.

Be Cool.......2007-01-09
Often times the sequel doesn't measure up. This isn't the case with Be Cool, the sequel to Get Shorty. You will laugh, and laugh, and laugh. And this is truly a great family movie. No bad language, or nudity. Our family watches this movie alot in our truck traveling, or in our home when there's nothing on television. Buy it, you'll love it too!

Be Cool.......2007-01-09
Often times the sequel doesn't measure up. This isn't the case with Be Cool, the sequel to Get Shorty. You will laugh, and laugh, and laugh. And this is truly a great family movie. No bad language, or nudity. Our family watches this movie alot in our truck traveling, or in our home when there's nothing on television. Buy it, you'll love it too!

Description
Starring an unbelievably hip all-star cast, including John Travolta, Uma Thurman, André 3000, Steven Tyler and The Rock, and bursting with the hottest music in the biz, Be Cool is the wildly hilarious tale about a gangster turned music mogul and what it takes to be number one with a bullet.
