Description
The battle for Space Fortress Barge begins, and the Gundam pilots are right in the middle of the fight, but WuFei continues his fight alone. Zechs, the new leader of the white Fang, oversees the competition of the might battle ship Libra. And, once it is ready for action, he orders it directed towards Earth. Duo learns of this, and attacks the gigantic ship. Relena arrives, but can she talk some sense into her brother before it's too late?

INTRODUCTION:
Ever since the late seventies, the Gundam series has been one of the most successful and widely-loved anime series in the world. It has become a favorite of many over the years. There have been several different sub-series over the years, and one of the most popular ones of which is the Wing series, released in the mid-nineties. This is a DVD featuring episodes fromt that series. Read on for my review.
BASIC PLOT:
The Gundam Wing series follows the exploits of five young men who pilot mobile suits against the forces of an organization seeking world domination. There's Heero (the main man), Duo (the cool guy), Trowa (the quiet guy), Quatre (the peace-lover), and Wufei (the overconfident hothead.) The battle rages on for forty-nine episodes, and as the series progresses, a number of plot twists keep things interesting. This is a rare example of a series where the characters aren't paper thin - they continue to evolve as the series progresses. This is one of the best anime series out there, as one of the best mecha series.
SERIES OPINIONS:
To put it simply, this is an excellent series. Many fans of the Gundam series call this the best sub-series of all, and honestly, who can blame them? The storyline is great, the animation is great, the characters are great - everything about this series is great. It's good to see the series get a long overdue DVD release in America.
DVD:
These DVDs are good, because they contain several uncut episodes, but they're bad in that they don't contain any special features (that is, other than the very basic DVD stuff.) The series is one of the greatest anime series out there, but don't expect any bonus material.
OVERALL:
Overall this is an excellent anime series, and I recommend it to any anime or mecha fan. If you like either one, this series will not disappoint.

Epyon vs. Zero.......2002-10-29
The two gundams has a lot in common. They make the pilot ruthless and he'll destroy any and all enemies in his path. Zechs and Heero battle in the two gundams. Meanwhile, Relena surrenders to the Romfellar (spelling?) Foundation, which is attacking the Sanc Kingdom. Romfellar offers Relena to be the spokesperson of the foundation, and make her "Queen Relena"
Quarte finds Trowa in the circus. Quarte is dumbfounded as he learns that Trowa doesn't remember him or any of the other gundam pilots. Trowa doesn't even remember piloting a gundam himself!
This is extremely late in the series, and if you didn't watch it from the beggining, it doesn't make any sense as the story jumps to one character to the other rapidly.
Epyon rules.......2002-02-01
The first episode (Sanc Kingdom's Collapse) is, in my opinion, the coolest episode out of the entire series (but then, I'm a serious Epyon fan). I watch that episode several times in a row every now and then, because the ending just plain ROCKS!! The Zero vs Epyon duel in the next episode is pretty rockin, too. There is also a lot of great stuff in the rest of the disk, plot-wise. All in all, this is one disk that needs to be in every Gundam Wing collection.
Great Movie.......2001-12-31
This is a great movie.But to understand it you will need to see the earlyer episodes. If you have seen the earlyer episode then you will love this.
