Full Version Is Available.......2001-08-24

By the way, the full version of Emmanuelle 2 (including the incredible bath house scene) is available on VHS. Be sure to get the French language version, with English subtitles. It is available from Amazon, apparently. The French version will also allow you to hear Catherine Rivet's voice (as Anna-Maria), which only adds to the eroticism of the entire package!

Why The Cuts?.......2001-04-24

Did we imagine this??? How could we? It was our favorite scene!!! We paid good money for the DVD and BAM!!! What happened to the oriental bath house sequence? It was truly the most erotic scene in the movie and it was definitely not hard core.

Would someone PLEASE tell us we are not somehow mistaken? There was a Bath House sequence, wasn't there? Or are just so old that our minds are playing tricks?? We need to know!

Disappointed at cuts.......2000-11-28

If anyone knows how to find the original Emmanuelle 2: The Joys of a Woman, please email me. I was very disappointed at the cuts made on this supposedly restored version. The NC 17 rating made me believe that this was the uncut version. None of the original movie was so hardcore or explicit as to force the producers of this version to cut it. Call me a perfectionist, but the original movie was an erotic masterpiece, very artsy and with a feminine sensibility at its heart, which makes it a pleasure for couples viewing together. This version is still very good, but if you saw uncut version first you might find this a bit tame.
