A good video on chokes used in Jujitsu and Judo.......2006-07-07

This is the third volume of a 5 volume series on Nihon Jujitsu by Norm Belsterling. This volume is 57 minutes long and is all about choking techniques.

The following is a list of techniques demonstrated on this video:

1. Bare choke or Hadaka Jime
2. Carotid choke
3. Sliding lapel choke
4. Single wing choke
5. Demonstration of all the same chokes above while straddling the back of the opponent in ground work in different positions and in standing position.
6. Cross chokes or juji jime
7. Countering punches and tackle attacks with various chokes
8. Throwing an opponent from choking techniques

The last five minutes of the video reviews all techniques demonstrated during the previous 52 minutes.

This is a good video for beginning level students to learn about chokes and a good review of chokes for intermediate level students.
