If I could I would give zero stars..........2005-05-25

Remember everyone in an uproar over Vanilla Ice and the song by Queen? You'll understand in a moment. I was given this dvd by a relative. Not having seen Cliffhanger, I did not notice anything other that what looked like a cheezy plot about an almost magical thought weapon that miraculously shields the weilder, of course, and a tired old man trying to get some from an tired old woman. Most of the acting gave a high-school-drama-class-impression, and I don't mean the kids who got an A in the class. When they got to the scenes with the semi, though, it just got retarded. The Long Kiss Goodnight is one of my all time favorite movies, and I started getting really mad. I mean, at the beginning of the DVD, they force you to watch this stupid Federal warning about copyright infringement punishments, then show this? Didn't Queen sue Vanilla Ice, and that was just a backbeat. I WARN in the strongest possible words for potential buyers of this DVD to not waste their money. Pirated material rates no stars. All buying this DVD will do is promote what was an illegal, and just plain stupid act. I turned my copy into a frisby at the landfill.

I DIDN'T KNOW THAT, BUT...........2005-02-09

What you can learn from reading other reviews! As my wife sat and watched this movie, I kept thinking that the big explosion at the end reminded me of another movie..the far superior LONG KISS GOODNIGHT. And now that I have read the other reviews, I see where they used footage from CLIFFHANGER and NARROW MARGIN. Hmmm...studios will go to extreme lengths to make movies huh?
As far as the rest of the movie goes, Treat Williams is all but lost in a small role as the CIA special agent with the warped sense of humor. Most of the focus is given to the budding romance of John Beck and Susan Blakeley, survivors of the ridiculously staged plane crash. Add Bongo the Bear and a subdued Steve Franken and there's even more foolishness. Not to mention the other survivors who go off on their own; one dies from unknown causes; the stupid wildlife t.v. star (hah) shows her stupidity by firing a gun and causing an avalance that wipes out everyone except the two lovebirds who have just reconciled. We also have a crooked pilot, a diabetic man and his daughter, and oh yes, a Tessla device that uses brainwaves to cause nuclear destruction.
Why the three stars? The scenery is beautiful; I found myself interested in spite of myself, and some of the performances were enjoyable, particularly Ms. Blakeley's alcoholic writer. But the big "character development" scenes only served to slow down the movie's overall pacing. But considering the theft from other movies, one can only laugh and say, gee whiz!!!

This movie steals scences from the movie cliffhanger (yes their scences) This is a watch before you buy movie. this movie is just not original. sorry, but this movie is copyright crook.

Worth Watching Once for the Cut and Paste from good movies!.......2003-06-15

For and "original work" how could the producers and director hope to get away with the "Cliffhanger", "Narrow Margin" and "A Long Kiss Goodnight" cut and paste scenes. These are not copies, these are the actual scenes from the movies, cut and pasted into this one. My son about fell out of his chair as we watched the plane and helicopter sequences, the chases and train sequenses, the semi truck sequences and climactic explosion that we had seen from other movies. He wanted to know if those actors got royalties off of this movie, especially Craig Berko who was clearly seen but not credited.

That aside, there were many cliche moments, some good lines, and some very bad dialog. But it was worth watching, especially with someone who does not know (or even one who does but hasn't yet seen it) about the cut and paste because it makes for a hilarious (absolutely unintended by the makers, I'm sure) movie experience and a great conversation after the movie among friends. I have never had such an experience before...

Rated one star cuz ZERO stars wasn't an option!!.......2003-05-18

What a boring, ridiculous movie. For a film that supposedly starred Treat Williams, he was barely in the movie. Everything about the plot was highly improbable from the plane crash to the weather. The actresses in the movie continued to have perfect makeup and hairdos considering they had survived a plane crash and several days without running water or hair blow dryers. I don't have a clue how the movie turned out as I had to turn it off as my brain was rapidly turning to mush. I hope somebody buys my copy so I can get it out of the house.

Great for cardion and toning!.......2007-08-19

Billy uses a step in this workout, but says you can do it without. I do it without a step (I don't like step) and still work up a sweat! This interval workout uses weights as well to tone your upper body, and of course there are the ever-popular kicks for the lower body. Billy actually manages to work both sides of the body with equal reps in this workout! Additionally, he is a little goofy/playful, singing along with the music and generally bringing some fun to this workout. I love it!

good but not THAT Extreme.......2007-08-08

I have been doing Tae Bo for years at the gym where it all started. I bought a few of these DVDs for days that i can't get down to the gym (when my little kids wont let me) and this one is OK. The work out is good. Not too hard and not too easy but not really high energy enough for me. I want to be sweat soaked and tired when I'm done. The music is kinda boring and there are so many stalls for showing off the next move,that I lose momentum. For someone just starting out, it might be perfect!

Great workout.......2006-05-22

This is a great workout for everyone, it has everything from cardio, step and light weights, it's a little fast in the begining, but once you have mastered the workout it's great, I have been doing Taebo for years and this is one of the best workout routine I have ever done, my teenage daughter also enjoys this workout very much.

CZW.......2004-01-11

While CZW's earlier days (1999 - 2000) were average for a new company just starting out, they were ok in 2001, and 2002 - 2003's shows are amazing, hopefully 2004's shows will be just as good.

while the matches on this DVD are ok, CZW's newer matches (2002 & 2003) are a lot better... CZW has changed a lot (for the best) since 1999. so, hopefully most people won't judge the whole comapny on their earlier years.

with CZW you either love it, or you hate it, but it is one of the top (if not the top) Indy wrestling company in the US, and hopefully it'll be here to stay for a long, long time.

i deffenetly recommend giving CZW a try (especially their newer stuff)

This CZW DVD incudes 3 matches from their 1999 show entitled "no rules, no limits". It is the best wrestling prodution out there right now. They have extreme light weights do high flying stuff that will ...amase you for a long time. Then they have hardcore wrestlers that will blow your mind away. These guy know how to take a beating. From barbwire to lightbobs to tables. Anything you can think of is used in the CZW matches. You should go out there and buy this DVD because it will be the best DVD you buy for a long time.

CZWs hardcore wrestling is the best in the US maybe in the world. Zandig puts on a great show always, and he has a lot more respect for fans then either Mcmahon or Rob Black. I pick CZW over XPW or wwE any day!

this company needs $ big time.......2003-01-03

I am no XPW mark. They have their highs and lows too. But CZW is the cheapest hardcore fed around. its like backyard wrestling done in an arena. Now as long as they keep it "Ultraviolent" they are fine. But once it comes to wrestling every wrestler is green and needs alot of work. They have (or had) a few good high flyers. RIC BLADE , SAT , DIVINE , STORM and BRIAN XL but that was about it. NICK BERK is an okay wrestler. But see Nick Gage and Nate Hatred try and wrestle and you will laugh your ass off. Now as far as this DVD in itself. Like everyone said, way too short. Only one hour and mostly ULTRAVIOLENT stuff so you don't get to see that bad wrestling I was talking about. I myself have seen about 20 CZW videos in full over the last 2 years and they have not improved at all. So get a tape from their site if you MUST see CZW and get "Stretched In Smyrna" or "Unf'nbelievable" Those were their best events. Also if you really love the lighttubes part of CZW. Check out IWA Mid-South. Ian Rottens Federation and they have better wrestling and more lighttubes then CZW ever did. XPW has great production values(most of the time). CZW has its ultraviolence and IWA Mid-South has a loyal fan base similiar to ECW. Check it all out and decide for yourself.

Combat Zone Wrestling has taken over the east coast and Philly with this new DVD showing what Ultraviolence is all about . You will be amazed by the Best Indi UV wrestlers in the United States can do . Many of CZW wrestlers have and still do wrestle in Japan with Big Japan wrestling . This is the best DVD to come out in sometime . Wheelchair Guy
