5 out of 5 stars Classic on a Classic.......2004-10-08

Excellent, professional production on DVD of this classic book. I was impressed with the explanations of military strategies and warfare The practical examples given of Sun Tzu's philosophy is great and easy to understand. So are the martial art and self defense sequences. Wonderful interpretation!

1 out of 5 stars Sun Tzu would be ashamed. Horrible waste of time and money!.......2003-12-09

Do not waste your time buying this. The production quality is awful. It has the worst sound of any DVD I have ever seen. It is a burnt CD that looks like someone made it on their PC. It is not professional at all. In fact, the copy I received wouldn't even play all the way through. It locked up 3 different DVD players to the point the power had to be turned off. This has no business being sold to anyone. In fact, the only DVD that I can even compare it to is the same companies "Book of Five Rings"

5 out of 5 stars Highly Practical Principles for the Martial Artist........2003-06-27

This DVD originally had poor picture quality but the producer has since corrected it. I received a copy that was burnt (glitchy and fuzzy at the beginning}, so I contacted the company and they said that they had ran a few of them before they realized what was going on. This was simply a techno glitch. They sent me a new, crystal clear, DVD, within a very short time. However, the real value of the production is the content and presentation on this DVD. It is geared toward the martial artist and Dr. George Alexander does an excellent job of interpreting the principles of Sun Tzu for the martial artist. He explains the principles of Sun Tzu so that they are easily understandable and shows how they can be practically applied for self-defense and individual combat. Good DVD!

Very Poor Audio & Picture Quality.
DVD is a burnt DVD and not a professionaly produced product.
Outside cover is a colour copy.
The intro to this DVD on thier cover is misleading and is really aimed at martial arts totally,I think even if you are a martial arts fan you would find this DVD very disapointing and poorly produced.
