JKA Karate Masters era 1950's

Description

JKA Masters of the 50's features Sensei's Nakayama, Nishiyama, Kanazawa, Enoida, Mikami, Obata and many more of the top instructors of the JKA . Enoida sensei can be seen in a very rare footage preventing a rape in a scene test for a feature film. It also appears it was part of the popular Practical Karate Series of books in a film format. For some reason, this was never released or publicly seen. This video shows these masters when they were very young, in their teens or early twenties. Another value of this footage is that it was probably filmed by the late Donn F Draeger.

The best of the best you got them all here . This DVD shows many never before seen footage of Masters such as Nakayama, Nishiyama, Kanazwaw, all rare footage.

Yet another "blockbuster" from Rising Sun Productions.......2005-11-07

Another "blockbuster" from Rising Sun Productions to add to "Kanazawa's Mastering Karate" and "Traditional Goju Ryu" as an insult to the viewers' intelligence. It's difficult to understand how anyone could make programs so bad when modern amateur video equipment produces acceptable results.

VERY DISAPPOINTING FOR THE PRICE.THIS IS A REAL HACK JOB ON SOME VALUEABLE HISTORICAL MARTIAL ARTS FOOTAGE.THE PRODUCTION COMPANY
REMOVED THE ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK, WICH OCCASIONALY BLEEDS THROUGH
AND REPLACED IT WITH THERE OWN LAME OVER DUB OF ANNOING MUSIC.
THE NARRATOR AT THE BEGGINING OF THIS VIDEO WAS ALSO OVER DUBBED
AND I HAVE HEARD FIRST GRADERS PRONOUNCE AND SPEAK MORE CLEARLY HE JUST ABOUT MISPRONOUNCES EVERY NAME AND KARATE REFERENCE WORD POSSIBLE. ABSOLUTELY NO ATTEMPT TO CLEAN UP THIS FOOTAGE HAS BEEN MADE, IT IS ALMOST AS IF SOMEONE VIDEO TAPED THE ORIGINAL 8MM FILM THAT WAS FOUND IN SOME WATER SOAKED BASEMENT WITH A HANDHELD VIDEO RECORDER AND THEN TOOK THAT AND HAD IT TRANSFERED TO DVD
ADDED POOR OVER DUBS AND PUT IT IN THE CHEAPEST PACKAGE THAT COULD BE FOUND AND STARTED RIPPING OFF THE PUBLIC.
IT IS ASHAME THE THIS FOOTAGE WAS NOT LEFT IN ITS ORIGINAL FORM,
CLEANED UP AND TRANSFERED.
THIS FILM IS A TREASURE THAT WAS MIS HANDLED AND LEFT IN THE
HANDS OF A VERY INCOMPATANT PRODUCTION COMPANY.
IM SURE THAT ANY TRUE MARTIAL ARTS HISTORIAN WOULD BE EQUALLY UPSET.
I HAVE FOUND THE SAME TRUE FOR ALL OF THE HISTORICAL MARTIAL SERIES FROM RISING SUN PRODUCTIONS.
