Boy Meets World joined the ABC network's successful "TGIF" lineup in 1993, and instantly distinguished itself from the dewy-eyed hokum that passes for much family viewing with its relative sophistication, emotional complexity, and smart, stylish dialogue. In a way, Boy Meets World, starring Ben Savage, picked up where ABC's The Wonder Years (1988-1993), featuring older brother Fred Savage, left off. Both shows looked at the world from the point of view of largely unformed and untested boys as they faced dilemmas concerning love, loyalty, and ethics within their families, among friends, and at school. But where The Wonder Years was an arch and poignant series with nostalgic, grown-up appeal--and which had a young hero often at a loss for words--BMW looked more like a broader, conventional sitcom where chatter never ceased. The show was and is more easily taken for granted, but its unusual gracefulness and wit can't be denied after a couple of viewings.
Boy Meets World lasted seven seasons, and one of the real pleasures of following the series is that its story and character changes are largely organic, rather than forced by cast departures or other pressures. Thus the auspicious first meeting of Savage's 11-year-old Cory Matthews and his classmate Topanga (Danielle Fishel) in season 1 leads, quite sweetly and logically, to a deeper relationship in subsequent seasons. Cory's attachment to his formidable yet compassionate 6th-grade teacher, Mr. Feeny (William Daniels in a tailor-made performance), who also happens to be Cory's neighbor, grows and deepens as Feeny eventually becomes the principal at Cory's high school and a mentor beyond. Season 1 also introduces Cory's likeable father (William Russ), a grocery store manager, and mother (Betsy Randle), a homemaker and realtor, as well as appealing siblings Eric (Will Friedle) and Morgan (Lindsay Ridgeway) and best friend Shawn (Rider Strong). A slightly surreal tone (a little similar to Family Ties) keeps the jokes coming, but BMW is at its most touching when Cory's awareness of and empathy for the needs of others expands. --Tom Keogh

I now remember why I love this show so much!.......2007-06-15
I received the first season of Boy Meets World as a birthday gift from my brother. He got it for me because (a) I love to collect TV series on DVD, and (b) Boy Meets World was one of my favorite shows as a kid. I held off watching the DVD set mainly because it had been years since I've seen the first season and while it was my favorite show as a kid, I assumed it would be really cheasy and corny now.
My husband and I finally got around to watching it, and we were BOTH very pleasantly surprised! Sure, it had its cheasy moments, but overall the series was very funny and entertaining... even for two adults!
Yesterday we finished the season and now I'm buying seasons Two and Three. I was sad to hear that seasons 4-7 will not be coming to DVD because of a drop in sales (saw this when my husband "wiki'ed" the show). They don't make shows like this anymore!
boy meets world petition.......2006-12-20
Remember back when Boy Meets World was part of your daily life? When you sat and laughed through seven seasons with Cory, Topanga, Shawn, Eric, and Mr. Feeny? We were there in the beginning, when they were 6th grade, to the end, when they separated off on their own. Weren't you sad when the season ended and it wasn't on DVD or VHS for that matter.
The first three seasons of this classic series has been released but when Buena Vista Home Entertainment saw that the sales were dropping they discontinued the DVD releases. Many of us like to wait until every season is released and buy them in a bundled boxset. Because of the low sales, we might not see seasons 4-7.
Please sign this petition if you want Buena Vista Home Entertainment to release a boxset for Boy Meets World: Seasons 1-7 (Complete).
If the set actually comes out, kindly purchase it so they actually realize how many fans there are.
Spread the word!! Just tell 2 people and tell them to do the same, at that rate there will be hundreds and thousands in no time.
Boy Meets World: One of the Greatest shows made.......2006-11-14
Boy Meets World (BMW) first aired in the early ninties, and it stayed on the air about 10 years. Boy Meets world first appealed to elementary school children and tweens, but as the show stayed on the air, the writers very wisely changed the characters to be age appropriate. Issues talked about in the first few seasons were honestly, friendship and loyalty. As the Cory, Shawn and Topanga grew up, so did there problems. In Middle School and Highschool issues with Cults, God, abuse and Death became very real. The dilemas in college were more intense yet. Focusing on issues like adoption, Co-ed living, Sex, Alcohol, marriage and true love.
The creators kept the show fresh by shedding some early characters: Minkus, Mr. Turner and added "Fresh Meat" with Jack, Angela, and Rachel. Although, through it all, Mr. Feeny remains the wise Grandfatherly figure to Cory, Shawn and Topanga, and Mr. Matthews (Cory's Dad) is seen a Hardworking, Devoted Father to his wife and family and all of Cory's friends.
I'm 22 years old now, and looking back, I'm glad I watched this show instead of others that were on TV at the time. This show grew up with it's viewers and rewarded it's fans with simple lessons to help them along their way.

All 158 episodes of Boy Meets World are available at tvdvdplanet.com
I AM SO HAPPY!
I think that's pretty good for seven (nine?) seasons of one of the funniest shows ever. PS. I only rated this 1 star because i HATE the first 3-4 seasons.
I love when Jack and Angela and Rachel come in!
This isn't the sort of thing I usually review, but..........2006-05-15
...I absolutely love this show. I also love that other great show Smart Guy, which is sadly not on anymore, along with this. I just think it's sad how they've taken away all these great old shows that used to be on Disney Channel and replaced them with the incredibly stupid ones that are on there today. But then again, Disney is becoming more self-absorbed, and they really don't care anymore about what people think of them, so they're losing fans. I have friends who used to like Disney Channel, but not anymore. I really never watch it anymore either, because they got rid of everything that made it great. Certainly That's So Raven was funny for a while, but now it's just tiresome, predictable, and annoying. Lizzie Mcguire I never enjoyed because it's just plain dull. Phil of The Future was only funny for so long before it got to the same situation as TSR. Even Stevens is good but it's never on. Life With Derek seems like something I've seen a million times. The Suite Life of Zack and Cody & Hanah Montana both have the same problem as TSR and POTF. I won't even talk about the animated cartoon shows because I find them all ridiculous, and The Proud Family is the only one I would ever consider watching because it actually is pretty good. But Boy Meets World, Smart Guy, and Even Stevens are the only reasons I ever watched Disney Channel, aside from the awesome movies that used to be on (just like with the shows, none of the movies they play anymore are even remotely good). I just don't get why Disney got rid of all their good shows and movies and replaced them with what they play nowadays. This show has one of the best casts of a sitcom I think I've ever seen, as did Smart Guy. These two shows are creative, funny, imaginative, touching, and very very very hard not to like. If I could buy this DVD I would, but I can't. And of coarse Smart Guy isn't even on DVD, and it was only on the air for so long before they got rid of it, and it was also one of my favorite sitcoms ever. Smart Guy was as good as Boy Meets World, because it also had an awesome cast and pretty creative storyline. I reccomend this DVD to anyone who misses the good old days, and/or who just loves this show, like me, and also all the other DVD's of BMW. But don't bother watching Disney Channel unless you're just into stupid shows, because everything that's come out on Disney over the past four years has been just plain dumb. Oh, I forgot to mention Sister Sister, which is also a really good show (at least the first several seasons before Tia & Tamara get boyfriends). That one is also just as good as Boy Meets World, Even Stevens, and Smart Guy. If that show is on DVD, I reccomdn it as well.

DVD Boy Meets World Season 2.......2007-08-01
Boy Meets World was one of my favorite shows on the TGIF lineup. Along with Sabrina these shows are a staple for many kids who grew up in the '90s. While it plays on ABC Family and Disney in repeats various times during the week there is nothing like owning it for yourself. You get to remember the episodes, your favorite lines, and the endless will they won't they Topanga and Cory moments. I already owned seasons one and three. Season two is a must by for BMW fans, because its when they start to get into the swing of what the show will later become.
The best of the bunch for any year of this 'hit' series - Cheap Trick fans should look for episode with Rick Nielsen of CT.......2006-01-11
Rick's great speaking part was, "Diet Ice Tea?"
How many REAL Cheap Trick fans remember that?
Yet Another Wonderful Season!.......2006-01-05
I got this dvd set for Christmas, and it is just as good as the first season. It is the first season where Cory go`s into High School with his friend Shawn and his girlfriend Topanga. This season really explains how Cory and his friends feel about High School, with some great laughing moments. Not only does it tell stories of Cory, but of his friends and familys lives, too! This is reccomended for any Boy Meets World Fan who wants another good season!
Beware this imposter!.......2005-11-22
After awarding the first series of Boy Meets World an unprecedented ten million billion stars it has been brought to my attention that the young lad on the front cover is not Fred Savage but a mere charlatan trying to trick unsuspecting Fred Savage fans like myself into ,erm, enjoying this programme. Please forgive me Fred! I feel violated.

WHERE IN THE "WORLD" ARE THE REST OF THE SEASONS.......2007-08-13
Disney better get it's act together as well as Universal for their "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" seasons but as for Disney you have got a fantastic show far better than the "Dick Van Dyke Show". All it is now is "American Idol", "Survivor", and the stupid "Fear Factor". Your releasing "Dinosaurs" now while Season 4 is still in the works, how long is it going to be in the works??? The 5 stars is for the series but if Amazon had a 0 I'd give it for the lack of respect you have for it's fans. I guess you don't know what you've got and I guess you don't wan't my money. Maybe that will get your attention. My Money.
BOY MEETS WORLD, SEASONS 4-7 NOT TO BE RELEASED...WHY?!.......2007-06-21
Boy Meets World was a great show. Season 3 may not have been its best season, but Buena Vista has cancelled all further seasons from being released due to poor sales of this DVD set. It's a shame, because as the gang got older, they got funnier, and seasons 4-7 are the best of the show.
If you love some BMW, buy the third season so that we can all enjoy those that followed!
Excellent TV series.......2007-04-16
This is an excellent show. The characters are relatable, funny, and entertaining. But this is more than just a "fun sitcom." The show surprises you with depth and heart-felt issues and challenges we ALL face in life. This show has touched my heart, inspired me, made me laugh, made me cry, and made me fall in love with all these memorable characters.
I own the first three seasons on DVD. I buy them as soon as they come out.
For some reason, Buena Vista Home Entertainment has not released any additional seasons yet. If anyone at BVHE is reading this, PLEASE PLEASE tell the right person in charge to help push the rest of the entire series out on DVD! Millions of fans are eagerly waiting.
Thank you.
Where is the rest of the seasons?.......2007-02-08
As a big fan of the series, I wonder when the next 4 seasons are gonna be released. It's abolutely inconsiderate to start releasing the first seasons and just stopping.
Boy Meets World is AMAZING.......2007-01-21
sorry, this won't be a very creative review, but basically Boy Meets World rocks! I got it for my little brother for Christmas and he absolutely LOVES it!

This absolute winner, based on a stage play by Jonathan Harvey and adapted by him, is a kind of enchanted, urban slice-of-life tale about a gay teen, Jamie (Glen Berry), who is in love with the boy next door, Ste (Scott Neal). Hampering Jamie's progress on the romantic front is his fear that his mother (Linda Henry) will find out, as well as concern over complicating Ste's existing problems. Beautiful Thing is a relationship movie, to be sure, but that description doesn't really describe the buoyant tone of this British television production. Democratic in its inclusive regard for each character (whether camera-pretty or not), the film--well-directed by Hettie Macdonald--is full of surprises. Chief among them is the terrific personality of Jamie's mum, a strong and independent woman who truly worries over and adores her son. But this is a movie involved in a kind of happy dialogue with itself: the tunes of Mama Cass, for instance, play a part in both the story and overall ambience, while a strategic placement of the Rodgers and Hammerstein chestnut "Sixteen Going on Seventeen" during an act of love is fun and exciting. --Tom Keogh
Description
A pair of teenage boys growing up in a working-class neighborhood become aware of their homosexuality. While both were vaguely aware they might be gay, neither had ever acted on their impulses. Once they decide that they're attracted to each other, neither is sure just what to do. Winner of 4 International Film Festival Awards.
Customer Reviews:
Touching.......2007-09-04
Great story of two boys falling in love. Sits in the important part of my collection.
The Movie.......2007-08-31
The movie was pretty good. It also has closed caption. Closed Caption is a plus. Because I am hearing impaired.
The cover is also good. because it shows part of the movie of what is about. so, Its good.
Amazing Movie :).......2007-07-18
I love the story to this movie. The acting is great, the plots good, and some parts throughout the movie really hit my heart and made me feel what the boys were feeling. This is definately a movie everyone should see. It kinda funny because Im 19 and this is pretty much the same way me and my current boyfriend met.
I RECOMMEND TO ALL!!!!!
A Flawed Thing.......2007-07-16
Many gay reviewers unfortunately have not been balanced in rating films like this and rate it so highly primarily due to a misguided loyalty to anything gay rather than things of quality.
This film has a touching storyline at times and I have to admire that, however it is far too flawed in its disjointed and very assuming storytelling to deserve such a high rating and content wise the love story, coming of age and coming out may be beautiful but the drug content, language and sudden coming out of many characters who were straight without clear explaination of the reversal of sexuality is more than a little confusing.
An average film dipicting poor, violent and crass British folks and the love between two teenage boys in this enviroment. Has some very touching moments, but overall highly flawed.
The DVD would also have benefitted from optional subtitles, like most do, for those of us who find the heavy British accents hard to understand.
good story.......2007-07-13
This is a touching story that reminds me of some things that happened in my own life. Two boys in love with each other does happen. And it truly is a beautiful thing.

It's a pity this oceangoing adventure wasn't fully appreciated during its theatrical release in 1996, if only because its climactic storm sequence (hence the movie's title) was awesome on the big screen and inevitably less impressive on video. Mixed reviews also curtailed its box-office potential, but as you might expect from Ridley Scott--the director of Blade Runner and Thelma & Louise--this is a beautifully photographed movie that will thrill anyone who is drawn to the romance and danger of the open sea. The story is a rite-of-passage adventure for a group of high school boys who spend their senior year as the crew-in-training on the Albatross, a sailing vessel skippered by an experienced sailor and schoolmaster (Jeff Bridges) who teaches hard lessons of teamwork and individual responsibility. As they sail to the tip of South America and back, the young men face many challenges that will shape their character, in addition to the carnal pleasures of shore leave in exotic ports of call. It's a traditional story, and Scott doesn't bring anything particularly new to this sailboat variation of Dead Poets Society and Scent of a Woman. But as a coming-of-age drama White Squall is professionally crafted and filled with vital energy, featuring a talented cast of newcomers (led by Scott Wolf of TV's Party of Five) who rise to the demands of this rousing and life-changing adventure. --Jeff Shannon
Description
Hollywood favorite Jeff Bridges (THE BIG LEBOWSKI) stars in this thrilling high seas adventure! Bridges leads a crew of seafaring students (including Scott Wolf from TV's PARTY OF FIVE) on the voyage of a lifetime! But just before their return, nature teaches the toughest lesson of all ... turning this journey at sea into a test of the crew's courage and will to survive! From acclaimed filmmaker Ridley Scott (BLADE RUNNER) -- don't miss any of the pulse-pounding, edge-of-your-seat excitement that this breathtaking motion picture delivers!
Customer Reviews:
One to actually buy.......2007-08-24
Excellent movie. Life is hectic these days, as we all know. This films gently reminds us to consider what truly makes a difference. Taking place in what is oft referred to as a 'simpler time,' not much has actually changed. In spite of what we may think these days, we don't need much, as humans. Lacking an iPod won't kill us. But, we do need to remember our humanity, and all that it entails and demands of us.
Apart from that, as long as we're on the subject of sailing, there is also "Wind." Also excellent, and slightly less tragically serious.
And, of course, the classic, "Captain Ron." The ultimate sailing film, it should be part of everyone's library.
Movie.......2007-07-28
It's a great movie. Kinda old, but it's fun to watch all the big name actors when they're young and not so great.
A great movie.......2007-02-24
White Squall is a wonderful, warm movie. It takes place on the sea, in the 1960's, but it is not just about being asea. It is about a group of young teens who learn quickly what is needed to grow up. Very tastefully done. My husband shows it to his high school ROTC cadets as well
White Squall.......2007-01-25
Lots of character development - action.
Story was very cool but we are sailors, so any sailing movie is great.
Jeff Bridges was OK as captain, but they could have chosen a better lead.
White Squale.......2007-01-04
Was an ok movie. I really wouldn't go to the movies to see it though.

Saddened by the untimely death of their father and husband, a family moves to a new town and confronts the usual--bullies, demanding new job--and the unusual: an autistic neighbor boy who believes he can fly. Bonnie Bedelia is the stressed-out mom, and Bedelia-look-alike Lucy Deakins plays the perceptive daughter who braves ridicule to reach out to the boy under the tutelage of wise teacher Colleen Dewhurst. This earnest film's melancholy is tempered by its fantastical ending and the fun of seeing a pre-Wonder Years Fred Savage as the soldier-obsessed little brother, not to mention one of the future denizens of Beverly Hills 90210 (Jason Priestley). Parents may wax nostalgic over early '80s fashions and may take delight in appearances by Mr. Munster (Fred Gwynne) as an alcoholic with self-knowledge, Facts of Life gal Mindy Cohn as a chatty neighbor, and Louise Fletcher playing a kindly psychologist. Slow pacing and heavy dollops of tragedy make this most appropriate for ages 8 and up. --Kimberly Heinrichs

Customer Reviews:
Peter Pan may have competition!.......2007-09-08
Well, here's a film that got past me in the 1980's. This is a great pure fantasy and light romance film for the whole family. I myself have a very active dream state and often have dreams where I'm flying in my dreams or where I'm young again. It's a great escape from the harsh realities of this world and a great gift to have. So if you too, have dreams of flying and wish it would really happen to you, this film is for you!
Plot wise, this story is a no brainier. A young girl named Milly, played by Lucy Deakins, moves into a new neighborhood with her mom Charlene, played by Bonnie Bedelia, along with Lewis, her younger brother, played by Fred Savage. This was Fred Savage's first motion picture film which got his career started, for those of you who loved him in "The Wonder Years".
The family has lost their father and Charlene, their mother, is working to hold them together. The mother has to reintegrate back into the world of insurance having been away for 13 years from that type of work, while trying to wrestle with learning computers. Both brother and sister have to integrate into a new neighborhood and new school with its harsh realities. Lewis's main challenge, throughout the whole film, is to try and get past the bullies living down the street, just to finally get around the block, which he finally manages toward the end of the film. This may seem like no real challenge to you as an adult or if you have forgotten your own childhood, but I remember the bullies I grew up with and when kids are bigger than you, they can scare the bejeebers out of you if you are 7 or 8 years old.
I can also equate to the new neighborhood the family moves into, given my own parent's divorce and the number of schools we went through growing up while they fought against each other. It's no fun on the kids when the parents divorce, but in this case, its worse on the kids given they have lost their dad to death before the movie starts. The part were Lewis is out in the rain trying to dig for his army men, not wanting to quit, like he feels his father did, who died of cancer or suicide, started to bring tears to my eyes. What a great talent Fred Savage had and he was perfect for this movie.
Across from them lives a young boy, a savant or autistic kid named Eric, played by Jay Underwood, who has a secret ability he wants no one to know about for fear they might lock him up as a scientific curiosity, which is made clear at the end of the film. The boy does not speak until the end of the film, but is bright minded under his demeanor nevertheless. Jay was pretty cute when he played the role. Both Lucy and he make for a cute pair on screen.
The story is more a light love story between Jay's character, Eric, and Lucy's character, Milly, and I think Nick Castle does a convincing job pulling off the whole thing including the way it ends and why it must end the way it does.
Throughout the whole story you are asked the question whether this boy can really fly and don't find out until the very end if he really can. Fred Gwynne, who plays Eric's uncle an alcoholic, drinks because he thinks he has seen Eric fly, but tops it off to the fact he's getting old and losing his mind. Colleen Duhurst's character greatly adds to the chemistry of this film as Jay's teacher, who protects Jay from the state mental authorities; bringing the whole thing down to earth in their title roles. If some other review tells you how the film ends, I won't. You must see it and I think you will enjoy it if you ever wished as a kid to have the ability to fly.
This is a great film for the whole family. No violence or anyone killed. Just a beautiful story and a chance to escape the world as you watch it. It was films like this that made the golden years of the motion picture business, before the whole world went insane with all its violence on the big screen.
Also listen to the commentary audio with the film. It is very well done.
The Boy Who Could Fly.......2007-06-11
Cute little movie. I wanted this for my library. It is entertaining without sex, profanity and violence.
Outstanding, uplifting, 80's fairytale!.......2007-05-22
Some argue that this film takes a wrong turn at the end, but then I guess that depends on your own personal outlook on life. In my opinion, this film is pure perfection from the first frame until the last. Truly a classic from the 80's and for all time.

Modern-day Southern Gothic.......2006-09-24
This is one of those Southern Gothic flicks involving family secrets in a small town with characters and events that make your skin crawl, yet you just can't stop watching. About halfway through you'll think you've got it all figured out but one or two of the revelations towards the end will probably take you by surprise.
Ryan Phillippe does an outstanding job, showing that even early in his career he was more than a pretty face, as does Nastassja Kinski, who I guess also shows she was more than a pretty face. (As for John Savage, he can probably phone in this kind of role by now.) One quirky aspect of the script is that various characters will be just about to learn something important when the scene will cut away .. leaving you, the viewer, in the dark. It comes dangerously close to being an annoyance, but the upside is that this allows the final act to spring its surprises all the more effectively.
I appreciated that the ending was more hopeful than I'd expected, partly because I thought I'd figured things out but was proven wrong. Had this been directed by someone like David Lynch it would probably have been a masterpiece. Nonetheless, even if it doesn't rise to that level it is certainly a film that holds your attention and keeps you wondering until the end. More than a "B movie" .. maybe a B+.
Little Boy Blue.......2006-07-23
Great Movie from beginning to end.All the actors did a great job with an ending that will blow you away
Compelling.......2005-01-07
This movie is one of my top 5 favorites. Although I tend to like the romantics, this movie is gripping and superbly acted by Ryan Philippe. It does contain stong violence and strong sexual materials. I wish it was available in a DVD version.
All in the Family.......2004-04-06
This mildly engaging indie drama presents an intriguing mood and a couple of good performances, still as a whole it doesn`t work very well. Antonio Tibaldi directs this story about a dysfunctional family and its secrets, particularly Jimmy`s past, AKA "Little Boy Blue" (played by Ryan Phillippe). Despite the mysterious tone of the film, which offers some surprises along the way, this is an average effort overall, since the pacing is too slow at parts and the ending isn`t too satisfying. The acting is convincing, though (John Savage, Natassja Kinski), so this offbeat coming-of-age tale still deserves a watch.
Not bad but not good enough either.
noooooo, my brothers are my sons damnit.......2003-10-17
shocking and powerful piece. Phillippe is the son of Nastassja Kinski and John Savage(who is Savage in this movie). Savage is Phillippes abusive father. starts good and ends with a bang, well two bangs. and one of the bangs shouldnt of been in there, where Kinski gets shot. the story goes that Savage stold Phillippe when he was a baby and killed his real father and raped his real mother, his real mother finds this out and comes for some, well, revenge. Phillippe also finds out that his brothers are his sons and his mother is the one who he had sex with, whoa!!!! and then Phillippe suddenly vanishes. his real mom comes and kills Savage and then Kinski(whyyy!!!) and then shes shot down by Phillippes buddy cop. they find Phillippe under ground tied up from his fake father. Phillippe delivers one of his best.

Amazon.com essential video
--Tom Keogh

Description
An infamous mobster returns to his hometown after a stint in prison only to find his kid brother caught up in the violent lifestyle of Los Angeles' Asian gang scene. In this gritty action/thriller, two brothers battle forces between good and evil and must choose their destinies before it's too late.
Product Description
Growing up is something we all do. So while today's sitcoms may focus on twenty-something singles and workplace environments, "Boy Meets World" managed to be immensely more relevant by centering around a boy growing up.
That boy is Cory Matthews, the middle child of a middle class American family. When the show launched in September of 1993, Cory was just eleven years old and starting sixth grade.
Cory (Ben Savage) is a mediocre student, often confused by the lessons of his 6th grade teacher, Mr. Feeny (William Daniels), who also happens to live next door to the Matthews. At school, Cory is accompanied by his mischievous, but well-meaning best friend Shawn Hunter (Rider Strong). His other classmates include brainy teacher's pet Stuart Minkus (Lee Norris) and the otherworldly flower child Topanga Lawrence (Danielle Fishel).
At home, Cory's older brother Eric (Will Friedle) is lately more concerned with girls and his appearance than his younger brother. While Eric would evolve into a truly funny airhead/oddball, his character here in Season One is equally compelling and inherently likeable, even if he's quick to tease his younger brother.
Cory's parents aren't always around, and they don't always see eye-to-eye with their children, but their genuine parental love comes through in conversations and punishments. Dad (William "Rusty" Russ) is the manager of a supermarket, who enjoys sports and spending time with his children. He's not perfect, but he is a role model to his son, and their relationship makes for some of the more poignant episodes. Mom (Betsy Randle) is a homemaker who also inspires Cory, and she apparently deals real estate on the side. There's also Cory's younger sister Morgan (Lily Nicksay), who provides a great number of laughs by being more than simply young and cute like other sitcoms, though she is both.
