Cousins of the squid and octopus, cuttlefish are among the most unusual animals on our planet. These shape-shifting creatures can hypnotize their prey, impersonate the opposite sex and even kill with lightning-fast speed. More accomplished masters of disguise than any chameleon, they have an incredible ability to morph their skin color - even their shape - to blend into most any background. Cuttlefish also have one of the largest brain-to-body ratios among the invertebrates. Unbelievable!.......2007-08-22

This was one of the most amazing NOVA shows I've ever seen. I have a degree in Biology, and I'm ashamed to say I don't recall ever even hearing about these animals. I, like many of its prey, was mesmorized by these fascinating creatures. The footage was breath-taking, and the science of how they do such amazing things is equally so. I couldn't stop talking about these fantastic creatures for days after seeing the show. I would give 10 stars if I could. I can't wait to own this myself!

You'll be amazed!.......2007-06-09

WOW! Nova really hit the mark this time with its cuttlefish video. I asked my students to watch it on PBS and they were beaming the next day, full of questions and awe! From the surreptitious smaller males who slip in and mate with the females while the larger ones are battling it out, to the small, walking (yes, walking) cuttlefish that will make you smile, but watch out, it's actually poisonous, these highly-advanced mollusks will make you think differently about invertebrates. KUDOS to NOVA for making such a great documentary on a not-so-well-known group of animals!

Very Resourceful.......2007-01-14

I have both Art of Camouflage I and II, and I reccomend both depending on what you need. The first one teaches you how to create a ghillie suit out of a Military Airforce style Flightsuit. In this is describes it perfectly, and I wish I had this before I made my ghillie suit. They also show you how to camouflage your face with paint. They tell you small tid bits of information that can be helpful such as, How long certain vegetation lasts. It shows you how to create 3 types of suits, first the Military Ghillie suit, The Yehti, and then the Bushrag. The information as a whole was very well done, but don't expect Blockbuster fliming and actors though, but they do an excellent Job in explaining everything. I reccomend this to anyone, including Paintballers, and airsofters who are looking to create a ghillie suit, or just learn some tricks. In the Art of Camouflage II It teaches you how to go beyond the basic ghillie suit. This one I believe, is not as well done, but still provides valuable information for creating and adapting ghillie suits.

MILDLY ENTERTAINING.......2004-03-27

Leslie Nielsen has certainly given us some funny movies, look at the Naked Gun series..and his foray into comedy after years of serious roles certainly endeared him to those of us who like our comedy a little corny and offbeat. However, as years have gone by, Nielsen has merely called in performances in some really impotent comedies, this one included. Blame director James Keach for some of it; his pacing is so slow, it can't come anywhere near the airplane and naked gun movies. While I have admired Lochlyn Munro's performances in some recent films (the Scary Movie ripoffs, Blacktop), he doesn't possess the comic verve necessary to carry the weight of this movie. William Forsythe does well with his sheriff role, but Vanessa Angel (from "Sabertooth") continues to perform like a high school thespian. The laughs are there, but they are far and few between.

When a movie is with Leslie Nelsen, it's very very very funny!! Except for this one!! This movie is not a comedy, well, we laugh 4 or 5 times in the movie, but there's not enough joke to be a Real Comedy! But the movie is good, if your not difficult, well try it, rent it, maybe youll love it, maybe youll hate it, but dont see this movie for laughing!!
