1 out of 5 stars Worst Movie ever.......2006-03-20

This movie is the cheapest, crapiest and most awful movie ever made. Even though they consider Plan 9 from Outer Space by Ed Wood the worst movie ever made, this one is way cheaper.

5 out of 5 stars John Steinbeck would be proud.......2005-09-11

I'll tell you, if ever there was a guy named John Steinbeck, he would be so proud of this awesome movie. If John had a mind, it would be completely blown apart. And if his mind wasn't blown away by watching this movie, he would buy a glock and blow it away himself, because he'd know he would never see a finer (awesome), more awesome piece of cat crud in his life. Basically, John is friends with you if you watch this movie and become even a little anueristic. I'll tell you this too, if you'll have me, the other guy who wrote a good review is 100/cent awesome and right about everything he said and I would be honored to engage in a 100%, complete, perfect fight with him. Two things I would like to add to his rad review are that rikki rocket from Poison is a horrible actor, and when the brother's point to where that guy is. Also, the guy from the bank has hilarious gas. I love the machado brothers, but they can't top this masterpiece, so they shouldn't try. Actually, no one should ever attempt to make another movie again, except, of course, John Steinbeck aka Kirk Hemschle.

5 out of 5 stars GREATEST MOVIE EVER.......2005-05-17

Brazilian Brawl has to be the GREATEST MOVIE EVER MADE. Before you get your panties in a bunch let me explain myself. The movie itself is so horribly made that it managed to cross over into movie genius. Everything about this movie was great from the characters, the fight scenes, the special effects, and especially the soundtrack.

Things to watch out for: the special effects, especially the house blowing up, and people getting shot and their limbs broke; the corny dialogue, "Billy, the boy's are getting tired, you're our recon man." AHAHAH You're going to have to watch to find out.

The funny thing is, when I usually show this movie to unexpecting friends, it'll take us like 2 hours to watch it because we continuously go back to certain fight scenes, especially the climatic end.

How did I find out about the movie? I was walking around blokbuster one night sort of bored and noticed the cover. It has a man doing some sort of flying side kick while shooting guns. I'm like hmm, usually low-budget martial arts films are the best due to corny special effects and what not. I read the back of the DVD and noticed it had the world-famous Machado brothers in it. I am a huge fan of the Machado and Gracie family so this definately had me interested enough to spend the four bucks to rent it. When we popped in the DVD and saw the camera quality, which looked like it was shot on a 8mm from the 60's or something, my girlfriend and I were already rolling on the floor.

IF you are a fan of bad movies, then this movie is for you.

1 out of 5 stars Not worth watching.......2005-04-24

This is a warning. Do not buy, do not rent, and don't even think of watching this silly excuse of a movie. I've seen martial arts movies with worse plots. But man! I've never seen such terrible acting, and inept fight coreography. This is the worst made movie ever associated with the martial arts. This doesn't deserve a star.

1 out of 5 stars Horrible.......2004-07-23

This is, hands down, the worst movie ever made. I am a huge fan of the Machado brothers', but I was unable to sit through this whole movie. Horrible.

The fight scenes are bad. When the brothers fight, they do it kung fu movie style, meaning that they finish off one opponent while his friends wait for their turn. The difference here is that after a brother finishes one guy off, the bad guy's friend sits there and waits about 15 seconds before attacking. He lets the good guy stand up, brush his hair, tie his shoes and square up...well, almost. Horrible.

The acting is disastrous. The stars are a bunch of jits guys, so I wasn't expecting much, but I was still surprised at how bad the acting was. Horrible. Just horrible.

I cannot even begin to describe how bad the special effects and "soundtrack" were, so I won't try. Horrible.

Seriously. Worst movie EVER made.
